Can you explain what your definition of a Christian Zionist is please?

Do you believe that the Jews are still God's chosen people our elder brothers in faith?

  2. Medjugorje is the "continuation and fulfillment of Fatima" Medjugorje IS the peace promised, the peace granted. She is the Queen of Peace. SHe has given the world Her messages of Peace for 34 years.
Fatima requested the consecration of Russia. The communist Soviet regime fell soon after and as Our Lady predicted in 1981 that "Russia will come to glorify God the most; the west has made civilization progress but without God and act as if they are their own creator" With the rise of a Christian Russia - a "Marian" Russia onto the world stage we see this prophecy unfolding.

A little clue perhaps can be found in the EU flag . It was inspired by the Virgin Mary and her crown of twelve stars. (not a single American would ever guess this by the way) A couple of years ago the EU received the Nobel "Peace" Prize. I think that event marked the end of the period of peace. Christian Russia is on the rise as the west pushes God out of our lives everyday... God works in mysterious ways..

  3. Pastor Hagee defines Christian Zionism and he can best describe it. He also has a long record of Anti-Catholisicim

About God's "chosen people"? I believe Our Lady's heart will triumph. I believe Christian Zionist's have little room for the Virgin Mary.

    From WIKI
Christian Zionism is a belief among some Christians that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land, and the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, is in accordance with Biblical prophecy. The term began to be used in the mid-20th century, superseding Christian Restorationism.[1][2]

Traditional Catholic thought did not consider Zionism in any form[3] and Christian advocacy of the restoration of the Jews arose following the Protestant Reformation. A contemporary Israeli historian suggests that evangelical Christian Zionists of the 1840s "passed this notion on to Jewish circles".[4]

    also this:
Christian Zionism is the largest, most controversial and most destructive lobby within Christianity. It bears primary responsibility for perpetuating tensions in the Middle East, justifying Israel’s apartheid colonialist agenda and for undermining the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.

    The point is quite simple.
You continue to misquote Our Lady of Fatima.

post#17 you quote ..."peace will be granted to the world for some time"
this is not the Fatima quote. This is your twisted quote. And you have not only twisted it ,you have left out her actual words.

Again the actual quote... ''... and a period of peace will be granted to the world."

Hi RobertVery special to have visited his cell in Auschwitz. I would love to do that. My other favourite saint from the concentration camps is Edith Stein. I will try to make a start on my pilgrimage to Akita. Meanwhile if you like you can read about my first visit to Garabandal in the thread, Inspirational Stories, titled Joe's Story. Another Pilgrim's Progress.

And in the Blue Corner, fighting in Our Lady's colour, we have Mac. In the Red Corner.....well, he seems to be cornered." Rien ne va plus. The Dragon is Slain. Just a wee beastie but it could have grown and done some damage. I am sure the rest of the story is good.

    Lol ,
MV is of course free to have an opinion on the words of Our Lady.
But to use quotation marks is a disgrace.(n)

Yea, pretty risky business that, misquoting the BVM. BTW I agree with you Mac. Well fought. I am sure OLOPS is pleased with her Dragon Slayer.

I said I am sure the rest of the story is good but actually I am not. That was me just trying to be nice. Sorry.
If MV has misquoted once he could have done it again. Perhaps that is what he is afraid of...that his book will be discredited because of inaccuracies. One crit that I read said it was up there with the Da Vinci Code. Skilled story telling but I was amazed how many people used it to justify their negative view of The Church. They thought it was factual even down to Mary Magdalen and the Last Supper. Very dangerous. Poor old Dan will have a especially hot corner reserved for him I fear. I have often found that those on a crusade have their own bent on the truth. I know I do. But I keep it real. Sometimes I get it wrong but if so I admit it and move on.

  12. I honestly do not no what you all are talking about. The quote is a period of peace will be granted to the world... We are both saying the same thing.. My point is Medjugorje is the peace granted to the world. Her time here is the period of peace.. What I am saying is peace throughout the world was not promised. The key word is "granted" . God has granted us the Mother of Christ at Medjugorje .and She is the peace.

Oops he is up again. Our Lady of Fatima did not say Medjugorje is the peace granted to the world. She should not have been quoted to give that impression. I am too busy to continue this face off. Our Lady of Fatima did not say "peace will be granted to the world for some time." You should not have put that in quotes. No reliable witness has ever said that such "Peace" was Medjugorje. You should not use OLOF to support your platform in this way. I hope others understand this. I'm gone. You have an empty ring. Knock yourself out. That's the least you can do.

We are not saying the same thing at all.
At Fatima the BVM promise to grant the world a period of peace. You are determined to show that the BVM did not mean that the world will be granted a period of peace.
What you are trying to say is that if the request is fulfilled, Russia will be converted and the BVM will appear in Medjugorje.

You have not admitted to misquoting the BVM when it has been clearly shown.

Thanks for the rare ''like'' Charlie. I suspect you have to put up with misquotes all too often yourself.

  16. A forum thread is not a court of law whether I used quotes or not is not that important- If I used them inappropriately, my sincere apologies. But I must say some of you sound like the CNBC liberal debate panel with all the "gotcha" points..

My point is simple and it comes down to want is meant by "granted". Most folks who follow Fatima believe Our Lady promised a period of peace in the world - world peace - after the consecration of Russia. I don't think this is going to happen.
I take a different view. God 'granted" the world "peace" and that peace is The Queen of peace at Medjugorje (Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima) The events at Medjugorje represents the period of peace. It's my view ....just like so many people believe the consecration of Russia has not taken place - that;s their view.

Also for the record (i am stating the obvious I hope) I never said the Virgin Mary at Fatima mentioned Medjugorje. The Blessed Mother did however, mention Fatima in a message to the world at Medjugorje on Aug 25, 1991

Can you supply that message. I believe it was something about Medjugorje being the continuation of Fatima?

"Dear Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. satan is strong and wants to sweep away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call

n Fatima, “The Lady of the Rosary asked the children, “Do you wish to offer yourselves to God in order to accept all the suffering he wishes to send you, in reparation for the sin and for the conversion of sinners? (Children reply) Yes, we are willing. (Lady) Than you will suffer much but the grace of God will be your comfort.” This message from Fatima again shows the similar patterns between Fatima and Medjugorje. Beyond similarity in the Medjugorje message, The Queen of Peace herself say’s, Medjugorje is an extension, continuation and or a fulfillment of Fatima. In the Medjugorje message, fulfillment would seem the better word as the Queen of Peace says, “…I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled." This statement leaves nothing to the imagination. Clearly Our Lady is saying, Medjugorje is the fulfillment of the secrets of Fatima.

However, the above paragraph seems to create a dilemma. The Vatican claims it released the final Fatima secret (in full) in 2000 after the assassin attempt and recovery of John Paul. The 3rd released Fatima secret does not seem to have any direct connection to Medjugorje in anyway. The 3rd Fatima message deal more with the assassin attempt on John Paul ll. The shooter was caught! Authorities later discovered the shooter was sent by the Russian government. The Russian government wanted John Paul dead because he was an outspoken critic against Russia. So, the attack against John Paul was considered the fulfillment of the 3rd secret of Fatima. The fulfillment of the 3rd secret lead John Paul to consider a message given to the Fatima seers which say's, Russia needed to be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart to stop its evils. It took the Vatican many years to consecrate Russia after Our Lady's request in Fatima (1917.) Finally John Paul obeyed the request to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. (Note: I will discuss Russia's changes later in this article in a more appropriate place.)

What can be said here about John Paul and Medjugorje is, Alfred Kingon, (a well know American political figure) publicly announced at a Medjugorje Conference that John Paul stated, he did not himself save Poland but Mary and Medjugorje did. What we do know, regardless of the salvation of Poland, there is no question once consecrated, Russia changed the path of evil ways, as the Fatima Children predicted. Still the 3rd secret of Fatima seems to have no connection to Medjugorje...

Beyond the August 25th message above, in June of the same year, the Medjugorje monthly message in 1991 says

The quote of that Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima is often attributed to visionary Marjana and to some degree Saint John Paul II.
This is a fascinating article from Vatican Insider La Stampa which discusses this issue
"The Pope showed me a book about Medjugorje written by Rene Laurentin. He began to read some chapters and pointed out that the messages of Medjugorje are closely related to those of Fatima. "Medjugorje is the continuation of Fatima. The Madonna appears for the first time in communist countries because of the problems that come from Russia," said the Pope, who had already embraced it as a mission of his pontificate. I understood the connection. After talking with the Pope, I visited Medjugorje incognito three or four times."

Thank you for your attempt to put things right. I am not interested in "gotcha" points. Your offense is not against me. Only you know if you have misquoted or misled. If your conscience is clear and at peace, so be it. My conscience is clear in my correction of your words and your motives. Now we can only wait for the verdict on Medjugorje and a correction of conscience if it is in error with regard to putting words into the mouth of the BVM and my claim that you have done so. You apologise "if" you have used quotes inappropriately. I am afraid that does not wash. You know "if" you have done so. No need to apologise "if" you have not.
