Aviso claims he is so well informed by secret contacts in the Vatican and his friends in Garabandal that no amount of persuasion will sway him. Only prayer can work the miracle. He once threatened to tear up his baptismal certificate to defend his convictions. (He is even more bloody minded than me.) I never quite understood that one. I wonder if Mari Loli can help him from heaven or Joey ot Patrick or Fr Gruner or Albrecht or Fr George or some other friend from Garabandal who is now in heaven. There must be thousands of them, all relic wearers who did their purgatory on earth. Anyway he is on my rosary of the Seven Sorrows tonight at Seven. Any other special intentions from members? I will check my phone before I go. My church is just across the road. Wouldn't it ve great if Jesus and His Blessed Mother could turn him around through our prayers and those of all the saints and he could then witness to the greater glory of God. You could not wish for a better man in your corner than Aviso when he is right. There's the rub. When he is right. I suppose that's the rib with all of us. We have to be at rights with God to be any real use to Him or anyone else. "I am the vine You are the branches. Apart from me you can do nothing."

    These are very difficult times.

Pray God He will cut Aviso some slack. A nice guy.

I feel he will be back, wait and see. Apart from Rome there is no peace for a Good Catholic. Its a bit like being a good son, we may fight with our Dad but at the end of the day we want to stay in the family home and we love him.

Here's my problem with my " Garabandalist ' friend. I have said this to some members here too, " Don't cherry pick ! " By this I mean either you believe everything Mary said at Garabandal, or not. You can't pick the things you like ,or want to believe, and not other things.

    One of the most important things Mary stressed is OBEDIENCE ! Most notably, the Blessed Virgin instructed the children on the importance of obedience, especially to the Bishop. In fact, She told the children to obey the Bishop even before her; "She taught us to obey the Bishop before her." (Interview with Conchita, 1972). What is most striking, is even the Blessed Virgin Herself, in the apparitions, obeyed the commands of the bishop, as detailed in the account below;

Conchita, interview, 1973: "At the beginning, we used to go into the Church (editor's note; The Blessed Virgin often led the girls into a local church, where She would recite the Rosary together with them). But then the people, because they wanted to be first when we extended our arms, would make a big disturbance. So the bishop said we could not go into the church anymore. Then the Virgin, from the time the bishop said not to go into the church, never would let us in there again." Conchita recounts that, from that day forward, the Blessed Virgin no longer entered the Church, but instead remained outside.

The children learned from the example of the Virgin, and followed it themselves. The girls were not only obedient and docile to the bishops, but also to their parents, interrogations by doctors, physical exams, psychological tests, criticisms and slander, and the like. They went along with everything imposed on them.

A true follower of Garabandal, follows Mary's words...ALL OF THEM !

Unfortunately, it appears this man, Aviso, has doubled down now with this note now on his site:

Last minute Comment : Pope Francis Supporters are not welcome on this Blog anymore as any Garabandalist Supporting this Pontificate, I am sorry, thank you.

Per Glen's note above he appears to not be listening or following Mary or fir that matter any examples of the saints- to be obedient.

Padraig - thank you for your discernment in removing him and a few others from this foum a few weeks ago. His true colors are showing now. And like others here have already said, there is no joy over this but sadness and yet hope - there must always be hope as we are all sinners in need of conversion- that he and others will see their errors.

We are most definitely now in the midst of the Storm. Trust, prayer and hope are the only answers.

Aviso left himself. Just after I posted about the need to have no more attacks on the Holy Father.

I guess he jumped before he was pushed poor man.

Schism is very, very sad. Like A Civil War. Much prayer needed.

    Poor man.

    Yes, he needs prayers.

The devil is crafty and has used Aviso's zealousy against himself. Perhaps one of Aviso's 'secret Vatican sources' or his friends in Garabandal can turn him around before it is too late.

A warning for us all. Even as staunch supporters of Garabandal.

Yes supporting the Pope is always the right choice for a true Catholic. All the authentic mystics at the present time seem to insist on this. Charlie Johnston, Mark Mallet, Medugorje and so on...

Effectively to turn against the Pope is to become a Protestant in all but name.

    Sad, sad, sad.

Ironic that avisio and others used to post to warn us about the scism and what was really going on...yet it is him who fell prey to the evil one and fell into apostocy.

as times get more confusing, we better only be listening to what we receive in prayer. Never mind what our "contacts" or "insiders" are telling us. it is only through deep prayer that we will know which way to go. this is the time of grace to develop that prayer and spiritual relationship with God and our mother to get us through the mega confusing times right in front of us.

Be very very clear: i am not equating Pope Francis with Pope Alexander IV.

But i ask this in response to the sentence "Yes supporting the Pope is always the right choice for a true Catholic"

In what way would you have supported Pope Alexander IV if you had been aware of what he was doing? (Can't remember the exact Roman number ,but you know the Pope i mean)

Alexander VI is the Pope you mean. We do not need to "support" any Pope in everything he does. If he is a murderer, has mistresses, etc. but we are to follow what he teaches infallibly in faith and morals. For example the Pope's recent encyclical on the environment is something we are free to disagree with if we have studied the issue and come up with a varying opinion. If, however he makes an infallible pronouncement we are bound to follow that under pain of mortal sin. There are several forms of infallibility. Here is a link:

That is a good question. :)

I will answer with a story I read one time

There is a wonderful story from that period which bears repeating. There was a couple of merchants in Italy who were great friends, one a Catholic and one a Jew. The Catholic merchant loved his Jewish friend and as a devout believer spent much of his life praying for his conversion.

To his surprise and delight one day his Jewish friend turned up and told him he had decided to become a Catholic, primarily because of the wtiness of his Catholic friend's life. But before doing so he told him he had to make a buisness trip to Rome.

The Catholic was at once deflated from his delight, figuring that when the Jewish guy got to Rome and saw the rampant evil and vice there he would change his mind. Especially when he saw the veniality and vice surrounding the Vatican and the Papacy itself.

The months passed and eventually the Jewish friend returned and annouced to the amazement of His friend that he intended to go right ahead and become a Catholic for he announced,

'If so corrupt and rotten a leadership of the Church could have not brought about it's downfall in over 1000 years of hsitory, it must indeed be the one true Church of Christ!'.

God does not call us to be clever , only to be holy.

God does not call us to second guess the Papacy or the Magisterium , only to pray.

God does not call us to do complicated only to do humble, be obedient and to trust.

The devil does complicated, proud, clever , second guessing and Rebellion enough for us not to have to.

In these Dark times the more like children we are, the safer we will be.

These things are stupidity to the men of this generation, but wisdom to the children of the Remnant of Heaven.

    Your Holiness,

I unite myself with my brothers and present at your feet my affectionate respect, all my devotion to your august person in an act of faith, love and obedience to the dignity of him whom you are representing on this earth. The Capuchin Order has always been in the first line in love, fidelity, obedience and devotion to the Holy See; I pray to God that it may remain thus and continue in its tradition of religious seriousness and austerity, evangelical poverty and faithful observance of the Rule and Constitution, certainly renewing itself in the vitality and in the inner spirit, according to the guides of the Second Vatican Council, in order to be always ready to attend to the necessities of Mother Church under the rule of your Holiness.
I know that your heart is suffering much these days in the interest of the Church, for the peace of the world, for the innumerable necessities of the people of the world, but above all, for the lack of obedience of some, even Catholics, to the high teaching that you, assisted by the Holy Spirit and in the name of God, are giving us. I offer you my prayers and daily sufferings as a small but sincere contribution on the part of the least of your sons in order that God may give you comfort with his Grace to follow the straight and painful way in the defense of eternal truth, which never changes with the passing of the years. Also, in the name of my spiritual children and the Prayer Groups, I thank you for your clear and decisive words that you especially pronounced in the last encyclical "Humanae Vitae"; and I reaffirm my faith, my unconditional obedience to your illuminated directions.

May God grant victory to the truth, peace to his Church, tranquility to the world, health and prosperity to your Holiness so that, once these fleeting doubts are dissipated, the Kingdom of God may triumph in all hearts, guided by your apostolic work as Supreme Pastor of all Christianity.

Prostrate at your feet, I beg you to bless me in the company of my brothers in religion, my spiritual children, the Prayer Groups, my sick ones and also to bless all our good endeavours which we are trying to fulfill under your protection in the name of Jesus.

    Humbly yours,

    P. Pio, Capuchin

Chair of Peter comes from here

Matthew 23:1-3Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
    Jesus Denounces Scribes and Pharisees
23 Then said Jesus to the crowds and to his disciples, 2 “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat; 3 so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice.

Yes, remain united to the Vicar of Christ. For all the hot air being pumped about on the Synod, etc., I have yet to see where Pope Francis has destroyed the Faith. And if he has not, woe to the person who continues to give scandal.

I was thinking last night how, through life, Marti we take many chances.

We may take chances with our money in the stock market.

We may take chances on our comfort when we book into a strange motel.

We may take chances on our health when we go out in the snow.

We may even take cahnces on our lives when we go drving.

But the one thing we should never, ever, ever take cahnces with our our souls. For our souls are Eteranal and the choices we make in this life really do, '...echo in Eternity.

Let's keep it safe; let's stick with the Chair of Peter.
