Well, I guess we can now all shut down our computers and get off the forum now. Lets not discuss anything but the Sacraments....that will be easy. I think not. BESIDES those things that we should already be doing, we are on here to discuss what we are struggling with, what we are discovering in our journey, learning from each other, learning from what we read and what the Holy Spirit is enlightening us to AND reading our Lord and our Lady's words of wisdom through incredible prophets like Vassula and so many others. I am nourished and given great hope by our Lady's words and our Lord's direction. There is so many wonderful flowers in the field of Saints--dead and alive ---who can ignore them? Not I. I will continue to be edified. Because ALL TRUTH THAT I LEARN HERE AND NOW---I WILL TAKE WITH ME TO HEAVEN. THROUGH OUR BIBLE, THROUGH THE FATHERS OF THE CHURCH, THROUGH HOMILIES, MASS, NOVENAS, PRAYERS, MESSAGES, DOCUMENTS, and good people like the people on this forum---I will take with me to heaven. I can also edify others, which, God willing--will edify them and enable them to pass it forward. Thats how evangelizing works!

This is a very exciting message which, in my opinion, places itself between the earlier TLIG messages of Unity, and the fulfillment of Unity in Christianity!
I'm going to throw a spanner into the works. I have for a number of days been thinking that the world may seem worse than the past but really it is not. So much gross sin has occured over 1000's of years and still every generation says, the world has got so bad since I was a youngster! Really the same crap that happened then,before now, is still happening today. Take for example the different massacres of today, or genocides of the past (same same), the incest, abortion, infanticide, murder, paedophilia and homasexuality all these gross sins have happened in the past and when discovered a hush hush or an outcryby the appalled society. The gross sins that happened in the past and were then discovered were appalled by the majority of society or hushed up because they were so appalling. And then it struct me! The evil of today is different today because of one thing! Today the gross things that happen in society are accepted as the norm and even celebrated as a good? and the good is derided as a bad thing. That is the difference. We are living in a world where good is promoted as an evil and evil is seen as a good, this is the difference between the past and now. This in a nutshell means that more people are willing to compromise with evil and therefore more evil is being committed and accepted by society as a natural and perfectly sane thing to do.
There is an awful lot more people now than even one hundred years ago. The scale of the problems are much greater. Today is worse than the time of the Flood because the scale of sin is exhausting the unfathomable mercy of God and the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary. "Father forgive, them for they know not what they are doing"
Josephite, that's so true! I also think even if the very same evils were happening it's more pronouced by the sheer number of souls that exist now. We have more people on the planet than ever before so I imagine the amount of evil is related to the numbers as well as the good. I hope that this makes sense! God Bless!
As I read this tears of joy are running down my face. I live for UNITY! May God's will be done and my our sacrifices be pleasing to our Lord so we can have this UNITY for our children's sake.
Wouldn't the scale of sin be worse at the time of the flood, for God looked around and only saw Noah and his family as righteous enough to be saved. So that would be like 99.9% of the population was not eligible to be saved?
The reality of the world now is that the true faithful devout church has greatly diminished while evil and individualism has increased. Thankfully we know how the story ends and thankfully our God is so great, loving and merciful that I believe even the prayers of one faithful, devout servant of the Lord can save us all! Be that one faithful servant now!!! The world needs you.
Well, you can talk to me too, converted (or reverted) through TLIG but then again I'm not very chatty on the forum nor do I read every thread. I was sorry to see Robert go also, it was a loss for forum members.
