  1. Patty, thanks for sharing. We might not be able to have a conversation with Monsignor Esseff, but this gives us a window into his thoughts on the difficulties in the world, including those mentioned in LTTW. This is an example of why it's a good idea to keep this thread open : ), because it allows us to share information like this that not only answers questions about LTTW, but addresses spiritual issues.

In this podcast, Monsignor asks what we think when we hear about economic collapse while the Pope is in America. He says "you are in the world" when you hear these things and respond in a fearful way, "Are you fearful?" He says Jesus tells us we should not worry because "He is going to care for us". He reminds us that Christians suffer as part of being in Jesus, but that we also share in his resurrection.

He lists more problems we might hear about, "nuclear holocaust", "meltdown", "damaged environment", and asks how Christians should live "with peace in this world"? He says Jesus told us the world is "going to come to an end", however, Jesus tells us, "Do not be afraid." He talked about the ordinary day where we suffer with Jesus, because "that's the life that is his", but the "great truth", is that we will rise again "after this short life."

Of course these are messages that are familiar that are always good to remember. Not a denial of the difficulties in the world, but a reminder of how to respond as Christians.

  3. Hi Padraig, were you posing this question to me? Excuse me if I misunderstood. Are you asking if I'm someone you know who's retired? I don't think so. I just happened across this website several months ago. I am guilty of eavesdropping for months now, and became a member when I finally figured out the "key word" to set up an account on this site was "Jesus Christ" not "Jesus" : ). I don't know if my timing is good or bad, I've benefitted from the short time I've been here, but disappointed that you might end the thread now that I've finally gotten past the key word test...

...just tossing in my 2...no, make that 1 cent, and really just addressing another posters comment about signing up. Yeah, it took me forever to realize they wanted "Jesus Christ", and not Jesus. I mostly peek in on Garabandal News, with a few other exceptions, but admit I have followed this thread in recent weeks. I never put too much stock in it, so I'm letting it go. I will say (type) that, in my opinion, the world (this country, USA, included) is decaying into madness by the day. I can hardly keep up with it. Though I didn't invest myself into this particular thread's topic, I do believe something "has" to happen, soon. Surely, God will step in at some point.

  14. I thought you said you were in a religious order. I thought you said you had 3 children. Now the messages were from a Nun? I thought this 'locutionist' was a member of Msgr. Esseff's parish? Which is it?

  15. At one time she was a member of the parish and now she is a nun outside of Scranton. The years involved in the various locutions both private and public appear to be around 11 years.

I don't understand the questionable connection of anything re: LTTW to this commenter, Marty. He never claimed to to be the locutionist of LTTW. That was a supposition made here. He claims only to know Msgr Esseff through guidance given to him if I read him correctly. There seem to be a lot of straw men popping up along with the sharing of misinformation.o_O

  16. I have to say in Fr. Iannuzzi's defense that he has more letters after his name with degrees attached than all of us put together. He is a brilliant theologian and is so respected that the he is chosen to do the investigations on such visionaries as MARIA ESPERANZA( who has been compared to Padre Pio) AND LITTLE AUDREY SANTOS and he gives his reports to the Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith. He also is a proponent of Vassula Rydan and Maria Valtorta---one of the few theologians besides Bishop Roman Danylak who has taken the time and effort to read the volumes (of both visionaries) and thinks they are brilliant and that they are true servants of God. I could go on and on. If I had known Fr. Iannuzzi did not think these LTTW messages real I would not have touched them. That is how much respect I have for him. I know better now and even though I have the greatest respect for Msgr. Esseff, I understand the machinations of the evil internet a little better and only wish he had done something more public in distancing himself from this visionary. The internet made it seem like he was approving of it all.

  17. I did not know that --hence the question. I was also asking Marty if she/he was a nun? In the beginning he/she said they were concerned because they belonged to an order and she/he had 3 kids....
Thats kinda a mixed up statement don't you think??

  18. I've always loved and agreed with Fr. Iannuzzi in his excellent work/teaching and esp. those whom he's backed and his descriptions of what is to precede the Era of Peace, but that doesn't excuse his PUBLIC rebuke of his elder brother priest with a notable condescending attitude, naming all of his lettered qualifications as if that gives him the right to neglect the most important quality of anyone who truly aspires to Christ like virtues....charity. Esp. when it is a second hand approach to the man. As he describes, the majority of his last few decades has been spent in studying with pastoral service only interspersed. Monsignor appears to have much more personal hands on experience as a pastor. If he truly wished to be of service to Monsignor through his most recognized (and listed) background attributes he would have done so in person.....and in private. Otherwise it seems more like a gossip type approach before the public and Pope Francis has emphasized against this type of interchange of division even between clerics....comparing it to a type of "terrorism"! Reminds one of a wise and experienced grandfather living in a family home who is rejected before others by the younger more educated grandkid who also needs to be taught basic respect. Every man, no matter the heights he rises to and is recognized for by others at the top, can be tempted to rely on that reputation and forget from whence he came. In this case Fr. I could have given his personal assessment without the public personal admonishing of his brother. Francis chooses to look at their shoes to see if they are muddied enough to show how much they've been with the sheep in service, in person. And he deplores "clericalism".

Msgr Esseff has never expressed a desire to "distance himself from this visionary". He simply doesn't wish to be bothered by all the conversation that is extraneous to his objective advice about all private revelations....no one has to believe them; persons do receive them but discernment of them is difficult; and only God knows for certain. He gives neither positive nor negative reaction so he does not wish to be pictured as "endorsing" them. As he said....quit "chasing" them and let them play out. Persons who are so disturbed themselves about any locutions ought to distance themselves from them for their own conscience's sake and not wait for others to come over to their side before they do.

  19. I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you. Its obvious that Fr. Iannuzzi tried to reason with the Msgr. and was put off. As a learned man and a shepherd of truth, he has to speak out against falsehood as he see it and for Church teaching. Its an excellent letter!! Msgr. could have quietly and sincerely backed away from this visionary but did not publicly do so --whereby giving the impression that he wholeheartedly approved of the messages. It was Fr. Iannuzzi's duty to speak out. By the way---we should be so lucky to have priests like this speak out against Maria of Divine Mercy! Uggg. How long did that debacle go on? Yep...its still...going...on....ugggg.

I believe that Marty has been deliberately secretive, with very cloak and dagger intonations and Marty has been consistent with building up an intrigue, but for what end ????

She introduced herself to the Forum in highly mysterious terms.

Most of Marty’s posts state that she believes prophesy is bad and should not be believed, also stating that she is in fear for her life because of these supposed locutions that she herself apparently receives?

At other times Marty defends her position as a locutionist?

And after many prayers, words of concern for her plight and also questions to get to the bottom of this highly mysterious saga, by members and staff of the MoG forum, she becomes incensed and in an unchristian manner, lashes out at Padraig?!.

Marty’s response to Padraig on page 73 'locutions to the world' is......

Padraig you are not from God like you claim you seem to be a chaser with nothing better to do but chase prophets you need to get a life.

And what is one supposed to surmise in regards to this post? Page 69 ‘locutions to the world’ where she states......

You are right in all you are saying. I am waiting to here from the Bishop in Scranton to see what he can tell me about Monsignor Esseff and where is on this issue. I called Monsignor Esseff ' cell phone yesterday and he did not answer. In the past he has given spiritual advice. He called me 2 weeks ago before all of this confusion took place. If the Bishop allows me I will make clear the truth and defend his name regardless of what really happened behind the scene

And again what is one supposed to surmise in regards to this post? Page 72 ‘locutions to the world’where she states.....

I am for real. I would not play with a serious issue like this. I was just letting people know that prophets locutionist and visionaries mean well and do not realize that the adversy can come as the angel of light. And it hurts me to admit it I am humiliated and hurt I was deceived I am embarrassed and feel like a fool. But I know in my heart I truly believed my supernatural experiences were from God who I was trying to follow. And now I feel like the enemy

I would like to know what truth Marty is referring to and also what really happened behind the scenes. and Where that actually is?

And also why she is hurt and humiliated and now embarrassed and feels like a fool. Why? What is all this in reference to?

I think Marty needs to explain all this secretive, cloak and dagger intrigue that she has laced on this thread in a sensible and understandable manner or else she will have no credibility herself and yes she probably needs mental health help.
