I have to say that I think this forum and the priests on Sensus Fidelium are two of the greatest gifts from God and Our Lady that I have found in the current world to bolster my faith.

A big Amen Praetorian, I prayed a long while back asking our Blessed Mother for guidance and help in my families entrance to the Church. I was not blind to the goings on and knew full well that there were big problems yet I could not continue any longer with my past beliefs. The Faith is the Church and God tends it. I feel it is our duty to defend it as best we can. My sponsor is a man after this, he teaches us at RCIA and when I asked him for a book to read he gave me his 1962 catechism book. There are people who well understand what is happening and I thank God that He gave me all of you to help me along on my way.

    God bless all of you!

My family prays for him every day. For some reason I do not think of him as he was in the last picture I saw, he certainly looked frail but the light in his eyes was tremendous.

I am afraid he must be undergoing intense interior suffering.

I always thought this too of Mother Angelica when she was unwell, that she was a Victim Soul for the Church; as with Pope St John Paul 2.

Sensum Fidelium is just wonderful. I listen to this all the time. Never a single word out of place. Deep , deep thoughts. Superb. They seem to be getting better and better too recently. Very, very prayerful.

You know we have spent years on the forum discussing the events on this video, but this priest seems to have tied everything together in a wonderful and miraculous manner here. There is something supernatural about this; like a voice speaking from heaven.

It is a Sign to me that things are drawing to a close over all this...

When I listen to them I get chills. It is like being able to listen to St. John Vianney or some other great saint preach.

When I first joined the forum a few years back, we were all looking to current events and trying to place them, but everything was still in the future to a great degree. A lot has changed. The events we were all waiting for are now in the present.

We are living the book of the Apocalypse as it unfolds.
It is a very strange and surreal feeling.
Like being able to see the future.
Like being in a world full of people who can only see black and white, but we can see in color.
And for the most part we can't explain it to them.
A world full of blind men.

Yes it is quite amazing. It is as though everything becomes at once clear. Like walking up a mountain in a mist, suddenly the mists clear and you can see fro ever. It seems almost supernatural. A great grace.

Yes we are no longer talking about the future, we are living through it. A great Cross, certainly; but a huge, huge grace. I think more and more the people of these times will either become saints or go to far down in hell. These are more and more times of the sheeps and the goats. Very good sheep of very bad goats.

The indifferent will most certainly perish. This is no time for the lukewarm or the cowardly.

People who think this a time for, 'Buisness as usual', are very, very, very much mistaken.

As they will find to their cost, either in this life or the World to come.

David I see you have again returned to the forums, but have declined to respond the posts that Padraig and I posted regarding you calling Dolours a liar. I would kindly ask you again to retract the charge or provide proof. Please do not let hubris get the better of you in this matter.

I will copy again my original request from post #233 on this thread:

David, As much as I do not like to directly comment on particular prelates, I would kindly ask you to retract your charge of lying and your threat of eternal damnation against Dolours unless you can provide proof she is a liar. You are very quick to upbraid people for their "sins" as you perceive them. Calling someone a liar in public is a serious charge, especially if it is untrue. If it is untrue then that would make you a liar, slanderer, and it is also the sin of calumny, all of which carry their own eternal repercussions.

If she has lied please prove it, don't just say her statement is nonsense and then tell her you don't want to see her supporting facts. That sort of dismissal of the facts before they have been presented is ridiculous. It would seem to indicate you are not interested in the truth.

I do find your attitude over this matter, very strange, Praetorian!

To make some attempt to encourage you to move on, let me respond:

I had said in response to what Dolours wrote, "So Cardinal Cocopalmiero believes God wants us to sin does he, Dolours?" Unsurprisingly, I do not believe that the good Cardinal believes God wants us to sin. Consequently I disagreed with her view and called it nonsense. It is a commonly used word when wishing to indicate a disagreement with a viewpoint expressed by someone! Have you never used the term, Praetorian?

As I certainly didn't call her a liar so I can't really apologise for something I didn't do but I do apologise for upsetting you in my response although not, apparently, Dolours herself.

I find many things you write strange as well David! o_O
I will not move on and ignore it.
I am also sorry David, but you most certainly did call her a liar.
Everyone here saw it plain as day.

Here was part of your post to her:

"Instead, how about studying the ninth Commandment which is also punishable by eternal damnation. I quote a little paragraph from a web page I came across:
With incredible power, God spoke from Mount Sinai, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20:16). This is the fifth of the commandments related to preserving loving relationships among mankind. Remember, the first four commandments show us how to love God; the last six explain how to love other humans. Besides preserving the family structure, marriage, human life and other human beings’ possessions, with the Ninth Commandment, God seeks to guard what is next most important to any human: his reputation. This commandment forbids all lying, which includes the sins of slander and gossip. A thief takes physical things that are easily replaced; however, a man’s reputation taken by lies, slander or gossip is often never restored."

    Did we all mistunderstand you?
    Are we always misunderstanding you?
Maybe there is some translation problem? o_O

You have attempted to take her reputation. That is ungentlemanly and un-Christian. Too often you try to evade what you have plainly said because you state things in a passive aggressive way. I have seen it many times. Tell me is there any other way the above quote can be taken other than to plainly state Dolours was bearing false witness?

Also just because Dolours did not respond to your comment does not mean she was not offended or hurt David. I have no idea why you would assume that.

Ok, at least I'm now understanding what is upsetting you about my original response to Dolours. It is that I copied, at the end of my response, a paragraph about the nature and importance of the Ninth Commandment. I had suggested that she studies this Commandment instead of trying to portray Cardinal Cocopalmiero in a negative way, undermining his reputation.

I would suggest all who criticize others on the forum would do well to study this Commandment also. And that certainly includes myself.

You know sometimes David reading your posts is like reading something that comes out of a Modernist Catechism.

There is a whole bunch of words there.
They seem to convey some sort of meaning.
They do mention the relevant issues.
They dance around the subject for a while.
But they never really address the main problem or offer a solution.
The hope would seem to be people will walk away scratching their heads and forget the problem.
    It's called evasion.

So in short you said something offensive.
No apology will be offered to the hurt party.
It was just some sort of a big misunderstanding on everyone else's part.

I guess the problem was I looked at your words as you originally posted them and assumed they had meaning.
I won't make that mistake again.

I wonder how Our Lady would view these exchanges, if we were sitting in her small house, in Ephesus? Pray that there would be a gentler way to deal with disagreements...

I would think it is obvious by now that I have posted many defenses of Pope Francis and asked people to curb their tongues many times. Probably more than you have. So don't try to throw that in my face. I cannot force people to apologize if they have said something offensive. I would think that is obvious from how this conversation went.

I do not call people I disagree with Modernists. You are the only one I have called a Modernist because you are, or at least you parrot, all of their talking points. As Padraig is fond of saying "If it walks like a duck..."

As to your posts, I think you have a distorted view of them. They are to the point when you wish to make a statement, but as is clear from this conversation that when questioned you are as slippery as an eel. Evasive, meandering, and roundabout in your answers...if you even answer at all. This is one of those rare occasions when you would actually have a conversation about something you posted.

I am sorry for the increasing aggressiveness of my posts. I truly do like you in some strange way. o_O I just really do not care for this type of non-versation where we go round and round and round and you never actually address the point.

I was just hoping for an apology. There is not one forthcoming. Nuff said.
