And a Christian cross or a US flag are objectionable. I say we all take a knee, make that two knees, in honor of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and beg her to come quickly.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

I read somewhere that the Vatican are having some sort of meeting in November, can't remember if it was to be on the 17th or 19th of this month. I think it is somewhere in Italy.

It appears they are going to apologise to the masons for whatever attitude they have had towards them in the past.

I have not noticed any other forum member post on this, but do truly believe it is a very big red flag as to what is going on these days. Or should I say SIGN of the times.

Has anyone else come across this. Oh and what interested me was. In February 2017 the 18th if I remember correctly Cardinal Nicholls Consecrated England to Immaculate Heart of Mary. This would be very important if the mason apology is true.

The other interesting thing was. I found a Utube about one of the well known saints who was shown 'Hell.' She lived about the time of Luther, and she saw Lutherans in hell.
From my understanding of these things. It would be the first generation apostates who would be most culpable in the sight of God, so we should not judge later generations in the same way as first generation apostates. Those born into whatever faith are taught in error so do not have the same responsibility. Just wondering.

There was a time Julia, when I would have laughed out loud at the very idea.I have always though it worthy of remark how close the aims of the Masons are to those of the Satanic Cults.

I have been using the Vatican's calendar to see what events are occurring in relation to it. Here is a link that should bring you to today but you can enter a future date or select a date from the calendar. http://w2.vatican.va/content/francesco/en/events/day.dir.html/2017/11/11.html I couldn't find the event that you are thinking of in the month of November but maybe it would not be noted on this calendar or maybe it is in another month.

I did notice that there is a an event occurring today, 11/11/2017, which is related to AL - the Third International Symposium on Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia convened by the Family Bureau of the Italian Bishops' Conference. I wonder what news will come out of this symposium. Here is the Holy Father's message to the attendants, http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/201..._to_cei_conference_on_amoris_laetitia/1348299

Dear brothers and sisters, good morning!

I cordially greet all of you who attend the third International Symposium on the Apostolic Exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, convened by the Office for Pastoral Care of the Family of the Italian Bishops’ Conference.

The theme you have proposed: The Gospel of Love between Conscience and Norm, is of great importance, and can illuminate the path that the Churches in Italy are taking, in order to respond to the desire for family that emerges in the soul of the young generations. Love between a man and a woman is obviously among the most generative human experiences; it is the leaven of a culture of encounter, and introduces to the present world an injection of sociality. Indeed “the good of the family is decisive for the future of the world and of the Church. (Amoris laetitia, 31)” The family born of marriage creates fruitful bonds, which reveal themselves to be the most effective antidote against the individualism that currently runs rampant; however, along the journey of marital love and family life there are situations that require arduous choices, which must be made with rectitude. In the domestic reality, sometimes there are concrete knots to be addressed with prudent conscience on the part of each. It is important that spouses, parents, be not left alone, but accompanied in their commitment to applying the Gospel to the concreteness of life. On the other hand, we know well that “we are called to form consciences, not to pretend to substitute them. (Ibid., 37)”

The contemporary world risks confusing the primacy of conscience, which is always to be respected, with the exclusive autonomy of the individual with respect to the relations that he entertains in life.

As I said recently to the Pontifical Academy for Life, “There are those who even speak of ego-latry, that is, of a true worship of the ego, on whose altar is sacrificed everything, including the dearest affections. This perspective is not harmless: it molds a subject that looks constantly in the mirror, until it becomes incapable of turning its eyes to others and the world. The spread of this attitude has most serious consequences for all the affections and ties of life. (5 Oct., 2017)” This is a “pollution” that corrodes souls and confounds minds and hearts, producing false illusions.

Romano Guardini, in a text on the subject of conscience, indicates the way to the search for the true good. He writes: “From this imprisonment in myself I am free only if I find a point, which is not my ego: a height higher than myself; something solid and working in my interior – and behold! Here we are come to the core [...] that is, to religious reality. That good [...] is something alive. [...] It is the fullness of worth, which belongs to the selfsame living God. (La coscienza, Brescia 1933, 32-33)”

In the very depths of each one of us there is a place wherein the Mystery reveals itself, and illuminates the person, making the person the protagonist of his story. Conscience, as the II Vatican Council recalls, is this, “most secret core and sanctuary of a man. There he is alone with God, Whose voice echoes in his depths. (GS 16)” To the Christian falls the task of being vigilant, so that in this sort of tabernacle is no want of divine grace, which illuminates and strengthens married love and parental mission. Grace fills the amphorae of human hearts with an extraordinary capacity for gift, renewing for the families of today the miracle of the wedding feast at Cana.

Commenting on that Gospel episode, I have been able to say that, “By transforming into wine the water of the jars used ‘for the Jewish rites of purification’ (Jn 2:6), Jesus preforms an eloquent sign: he transforms the Law of Moses into the Gospel, bearer of joy. (Gen. Audience, June 8, 2016)” Jesus points in particular to the medicine of mercy, which cures the hardness of the heart, restoring the relationship between husband and wife, and between parents and children.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I wish all the best for your work in this Symposium. Let the Church in Italy help to assimilate and develop Amoris laetitia’s content and style; may she contribute to the formation of family group animators in parishes, associations, and movements; may she support the journey of so many families, helping them to live the joy of the Gospel, and to be active cells in the community. I bless you, and I ask you, please, to pray for me.

Sorry for not being able to be more specific. The only thing that might be relevant, the meeting or whatever it is seemed to be held somewhere in Italy, not the Vatican. Don't know if that helps. About the mason malarkey I came across, for clarity.

Sorry to be so hopeless at not linking or copying and pasting when these things come up.

Julia, We may come across it, no worries. I wouldn't have realized that the event that is occurring today was happening if you hadn't posted about this other possible event. This symposium could prove to be crucial in light of everything else that has occurred recently in relation to Amoris Lateitia. I think that it is something to watch for in the news, etc. and to pray about.

    Thank you.

Fair play to you Padraig. Your linked article just shows how believable the other article I came across must be.

Talk about taking tea with the devil. What's the old saying; " if you can't lick em, join em."

Have any of you found the saint that was shown hell and saw Lutherans in the pit. That shocked me.

Looks like we are asked to embrace every diabolical disorientated abomination that ever came down the pipeline these days. Even if we have to go to the very margins of society, high and low. Sigh.

Carol, a big coup like I suspect will not make the news until we are all trapped hook, line and sinker. That is the way evil works. And the irony is so many Catholics are members of the masons, so like the gay priests and bishops, there will be a hush hush in the Catholic Church. It was the silence of the Bishops that brought me to realise their involvement in the gay lifestyle before Michael Voris started telling it like it is, and confirming my worst fears. Loyalty to who. I bet the masons will bag the loyalty before God.

We need to keep watch and pray. God forgive me for opening my mouth on this subject. But thought it important.

    I often look at people in the street and pray for them Julia; complete strangers. I often greet their Guardian Angels too, they like this, people I am afraid pay little respect to angels these days. But when you pray for people you kind of embrace them in love and get to know them better in your heart. I hope I am wrong but it seems to me that many , many people are simply not praying and so are far, far ,far along the road to hell. This is why Our Lady of Fatima asked us to pray specially for sinners;

'Oh my Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell , lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of your mercy'

This is not the modern way of looking at things. The modern way of looking at things is basically that pretty well everyone is going to heaven, pray or not pray , the good and the bad, the holy and the wicked. But personally in my experience in these present days the large majority of mankind runs hell ward. Run I say, not walk. Nor do I think we do our sisters and brothers any favours by pretending this is not so. It is.

But I accept tha this is not modern Catholic thinking in the matter. I am afraid I may well have been born in the wrong century.

At work the other day I said to a lady, 'God bless you'. My supervisor became quite furious. and launched into a diatribe at me ' for..'..bringing religion into everything!'

I think our Lady of Fatima was right. I feel cold dark winds all round me. We must pray much for sinners.

Maybe there is something organised for Turin? I have come across suggestions that masonry is especially strong in the Turin/Milan region of Italy.

If people cannot be bothered to even talk to God on Earth (never mind keep His Laws) why on Earth would we think that they will join Him in Heaven after death? The whole idea is simply crazy.

Yet that is what many, many people believe these days.

Most no longer believe in God, but figure they will find him 'if' he is there only at the last moments of life here on earth. They have lost their faith, but may say a few prayers from their lips before they die just in case. For our part, we must continue to fast and pray that they will wake up before it is to late.

Yes. Heard this also . Poor Italy. Our Lady at LaSalette said Rome would become the seat of the anti-Christ. All our wonderful Italian saints--one thinks of Padre Pio--must be pleading for God's mercy.

That Rome will become the seat of the AC doesn't necessarily mean the Vatican.

Perhaps Cardinal Ravasi is pressing ahead with dialogue: https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2016/02/dear-brother-masons-full-article-on.html

He's an interesting character. See the "Dialogue with non-believers" section of his wiki page. It's all about developing Pope Benedict's initiative of reaching out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gianfranco_Ravasi

So, it's all Pope Benedict's fault.

That Gianfranco_Ravasi fella seems to support the Darwin theory, or something. I thought people who support that nonsense are in effect supporting the belief that we are all an accident of physics, therefore no God is required if their perceptions are taken seriously.

How can the Roman Catholic Church dialogue with a secret society whose sole purpose and aim is the destruction of the Roman Catholic Church. Or am I missing something.
