[/URL][/IMG] We just returned from our trip last week from Mother Angelica's. We went to Our Lady of the Angels Monastery in Birmingham and then her Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville. I lit candles for the forum members at Hanceville. I prayed for all your intentions, especially for Rod. They have completed the Pope JP II Eucharistic Center. It was such a beautiful journey of the history of the Holy Eucharist from ancient tradition to our modern celebration. I spoke with a young priest and asked him about Mother. He did say that she was bed ridden (and has for some time now) and had a feeding tube in place. He said that she opens her eyes and is aware of her surroundings and likes to eat crushed ice! She is such a beautiful victim soul. He said she participated in a procession that they had recently by bringing her out in her bed (with the other sisters in the cloistered part of the church). I have been trying to figure out how to post a picture from our trip in the Pope JP II Eucharistic center and I don't think it's going to show up but I'll try again if it doesn't display. God Bless!
