    Thank you Garabandal.

    How wonderful!

Our Lady has promised that those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities [12th Promise].

So our prayers are being answered because the necessities of Our Holy Father are being aided by The Most Blessed Virgin Mary! And all of us would no doubt be able to name quite a few of his necessities.;)

So MoG forum.................... lets keep up our prayers for our Dear Holy Father, Pope Francis.

    The article below:

Pope Francis: ‘the Rosary is the prayer of my heart’

Pope Francis on Wednesday reminded the faithful that the month of October is dedicated to the Rosary and invited all believers to recite the Marian prayer.

In a tweet, just a few days ago, on the day when the Church celebrates the feast of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, the Pope said “the Rosary is the prayer that always accompanies my life: it is also the prayer of simple people and saints...it is the prayer of my heart”.

At the conclusion of the weekly General Audience, he explained that the Rosary is “a synthesis of Divine Mercy”:

“With Mary, in the mysteries of the Rosary we contemplate the life of Jesus which irradiates the mercy of the Father. Let us rejoice in His love and forgiveness, let us recognize it in foreigners and in those who are needy, let us live His Gospel every day”.

And greeting the young, the sick and the newly wedded, Pope Francis said:

“May this simple Marian prayer show you, young people, the way to give life to God’s will in your lives; dear sick people, love this prayer because it brings consolation for the mind and the heart; and dear newly wedded spouses, may it represent a privileged moment of spiritual intimacy within your new family”.

Pope Francis gives all people he meets a Rosary. “Our Lady – he says – is always close to Her children and ready to help when we pray to her, when we ask for her protection… let us remember she is always ready to serve and never keeps anyone waiting”.

Indeed, but all recent popes have given rosaries to people they meet or almost meet. I have a JPII one from Card. Dziwicz, and a journalist friend got me a Francis one from Arch. Gaenswein. A close friend of mine has four rosaries, each given to her by Saint John Paul. Anyone who meets a pope gets a rosary, unless it's someone in a crowd. Our Queen must have several.... but being given a rosary isn't the same as using it, unfortunately.

But Pope Francis didn't just give the rosary beads to people who collect beads from popes!

1] He invited all Catholics to recite the rosary!

2] He tweeted to the young people, on the feast of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary, “the Rosary is the prayer that always accompanies my life: it is the prayer of my heart”!

3] In a general Audience he explained that the Rosary is “a synthesis of Divine Mercy”!

4] He greeting the young, the sick and the newly wedded and said to them........... “May this simple Marian prayer show you, young people, the way to give life to God’s will in your lives; dear sick people, love this prayer because it brings consolation for the mind and the heart; and dear newly wedded spouses, may it represent a privileged moment of spiritual intimacy within your new family”!

In other words he propagated the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary! So that we may imitate what the rosary contains and obtain what the rosary promises through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

I for one am happy that our Holy Father propagates the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary.....to the young, to the sick, to the newly married, in a general audience and even on social media! Praise be God!

Let us redouble our prayers for our poor Holy Father, who continues to be ridiculed and jeered at, as he stumbles to lead Our Church.

I cannot have made myself clear. I was making only one point and that was concerned with the author of the article and not the Pope's own undoubted devotion to the Rosary. The author stated that this Pope gives rosaries to all he meets, but did not seem to realise that this is true of his predecessors. That's all I wanted to say. And I don't collect beads. I've never met a Pope.

I agree with you, giving rosary beads out like they are trinkets would do little to no good at all.

Like you say the Queen probably has several and of course being the head of the protestant Church of England I don’t think the recitation of rosary would be one of her top priorities.

What is wonderful in regards to Pope Francis is that he is exhorting the Catholic faithful to recite the rosary! Concluding a general audience explaining the rosary, tweeting young people about the rosary and telling, the sick, the young and the newlyweds the power of the rosary!

This is propagating the Rosary which is what Our Holy Father is doing, and our Blessed Mother Mary has promised that if you propagate/promote the Holy Rosary she will aid you in all your necessities!

Recently many people, not just protestants but many Catholics, have questioned Our Holy Father, [Pope Francis] intentions! As he has stumbled with clarifying some truths of the Holy Catholic faith.

So the Catholic faithful have been praying intently for Our Holy Father, especially here at the MoG site.!

With the Holy Father exhorting Catholics to pray the rosary it gives us a firm hope that our prayers are being heard.

Because we know that The Blessed Virgin Mary will aid our Holy Father in his necessities [especially in is need to clarify], and Our Blessed Mother does not break her promises!

The Blessed Virgin Mary promised to Saint Dominic and to all who follow that "Whatever you ask in the Rosary will be granted." She left for all Christians Fifteen Promises to those who recite the Holy Rosary daily.

Imparted to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

    4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenititude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.
