Dear Lady, Embrace Fr. Adam and cover him with your mantle. May your maternal intercession strengthen him to bring to completion his appointed task! Safe in the Father's Arms!
..as far as I recall Fr Adma said he had prayerful insight into the time and manner of his own death? I think I recall him saying it would be in his own home at the hands of murderers? I wonder if I recall aright?
You remind me of doubting Thomas Mac. Maybe no bad thing a healthy dose of scepticism is no bad thing. But of course not mentioning a stroke is no reason for a thumbs down I think, I notcie whena person has one stroke they have several. I notice with the saints how linked they are to suffering. Fr Adma seems to be hanging on the Cross at the moment.
Anna Argasińska, Divine Mercy Sunday 2016 https://wobroniewiaryitradycji.wordpress.com/ Receiving Holy Communion, I heard the voice of the LORD: Jesus: I ask you at the moment of transubstantiation to gather all human suffering and to offer it to the Father together with My Most Holy Sacrifice. Much human suffering is wasted out of a lack of human[s'] awareness that their sufferings are a medecine that I pour out on hardened hearts. To circles defaming the Holy Father Francis Jesus: You all who practice the grave sin of slandering Pope Francis, My Vicar, to whom the Holy Spirit directed the Church, will be called strictly to account at the Last Judgement for opposing the will of the Father, for setting yourselves above the Holy Spirit. For this reason also you have yielded to the enemies of the Church, who for centuries have been wanting to destroy My Church. Who does not respect My Vicar does not respect me also. [P.B. Emphasis mine. This just appeared on the website connected with Fr Adam Skwarczyński, who has followed and done editorial work on the writings of Anna Argasińska from Warsaw, whose ongoing alleged dialogues with Jesus date back to 1996. Having read much of this material, I personally rate it very highly and would place it in the same stylistic category as, for example, Lui et Moi of Gabrielle Bossis. Since the recent deaths of Alicja Lenczewska and 'Adam-Człowiek', Anna Argasińska would appear to be the Polish purported mystic most widely considered reliable. The description of sufferings as 'medecine' may appear shocking to some who may find this too 'dolorist', even 'masochistic' for their taste, but while this needs to be approached with sensitivity it also needs to be said that the offering up of suffering for the spiritual benefit of the world remains an absolutely consistent feature of modern Catholic mysticism; I would challenge anyone to find a serious source arguing to the contrary.]
I pray these serve as sobering words to those who have proclaimed themselves "defenders of orthodoxy" at the expense of being submissive children of Holy Mother Church and her Earthly head. And indeed suffering is so valuable. I recall Pope Benedict (I think in a homily) lamenting wasted suffering. I pray every day that those in extreme suffering will, by it, atone for their sins and those of the whole world.
Yes, Daniel, this is a very fine line that some whole heartedly cross with bold words of condemnation towards the Holy Father. I doubt there are very many on the MOG forum that do not embrace all the Churches unchanging doctrines, but in doing so a few have become very head strong and heart weak. They seem to want no dialog with sinners. God is about to do things that will correct the conscience of man and when this takes place those in sin will not have anywhere to go, as they have felt alienated by some in the Church.
My husband and I just watched it again recently. Father Adam said he knows that he is to be murdered and he has seen the face of his murderer. I'm not sure if he mentioned and further details.
To see ones life...not out of the ordinary. Near death experiences and saints have had those experiences. One might see his life and not remember or be given every minut detail. He might have seen,he would be killed...but not know exactly how. I don't see the big deal. I don't know anything about this priest but I hope the best for him. My prayers go up.
I really believe that Fr. Adam is authentic. He is a good, holy priest that has truly offered up his life for God and those whom God would send to him. I'm sure suffering is part of his spirituality and a stroke would exact just that. God bless him for his fiat and may God give him the graces to endure his present condition.
An update has just appeared over at https://wobroniewiaryitradycji.wordpress.com/ - Fr Adam is still in hospital on oxygen and in a serious condition (his treatment is being further complicated by 'flu), but he has now opened his eyes and can hear, although as yet he is unable to speak.
Fr Adam breaks his silence... The site https://wobroniewiaryitradycji.wordpress.com/ which carries information from and about Fr Adam Skwarczyński has just posted his first reflections since his recent hospitalization, a portion of which I reproduce below. Pretty thought-provoking reading IMHO, written in Fr Adam's inimitable personal style, although those who object to anything resembling 'dolorism' should probably change channels at this point... Clearly he views his physical problems in terms of being in some way called to be a 'victim-soul'. In case you may be wondering what he means by the "Spark from Poland", this is a group of people who responded to a 2015 appeal from Fr Adam in reference to Jesus's famous statement in St Faustina's diary (n. 1732) that from Poland "will come the spark, which will prepare the world for my final coming" ('Z niej wyjdzie iskra, która przygotuje świat na ostateczne przyjście moje'). While this is understandable frequently interpreted as a prophetic reference to the mission of St John Paul II, Fr Adam has taken this as the basis for an appeal for people to join him in offering up their own personal daily crosses as an offering for the conversion of sinners in the light of Christ's Second Coming - which he as a former member of the Marian Movement of Priests interprets similarly to Fr Gobbi and the MMP as co-terminous with the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, Era of the Holy Spirit, New Pentecost... to inaugurate the 'New World' that Fr Adam himself claims to have seen in visionary experiene, not to signal the end of the planet. As we know, now, as the Lord Jesus will be coming again, we need to "prepare the way for Him." The Blessed Virgin Mary has been doing this for years through the people she has chosen, and also by trying to move hearts with the tears flowing from Her eyes in hundreds of images. These chosen ones are not the only people who have enjoyed the gift of meeting Mary, but all those written in Her Heart by offering themselves to Her (by "leaving her complete freedom to use them"). These are the ones who have been charged by Her with the specific task of preparing the world for the Parousia, and thus for the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart. To her little "army" belong, among others, victims souls, constituting the "Spark from Poland" announced by the Lord Jesus in the Diary of St. Faustina. These are the people who are utterly given over to Mary, standing courageously together with Her in spirit on Golgotha (i.e. every day that is not without its personal cross), so as to embrace the whole globe with outstretched . We can admire their courage as well as their big hearts, capable of embracing the world. Courage because they live in a world bowed down beneath the weight of so many various sufferings; they are ready to accept and carry the cross regardless of its weight. We should rejoice greatly - earth together with heaven - at the steadily increasing numbers in the Marian "army" and at their commitment to God's cause. Today my joy is double: the "Spark from Poland", growing in strength and numbers, is embracing the whole world with prayer and sacrifice, while God gives me to experience that this is His work, important in His eyes, since for its growth he has need of my cross. This experience I want to share with you now. When the first group of people were to make a special act of offering themselves to God in the context of the "Spark", suddenly I received a very clear inspiration, about which I told you all immediately: you offer yourselves to God for the 7 billion people living in the world, while I on the other hand [do the same] for you, for the "Spark". I accept and I offer for you the cross that God wants to give me. God took me at my word and began to give me more and more afflictions. The most severe were the effects of an increasingly frequent sudden loss of consciousness, particularly atwork and prayer. I walked around battered, bruised, chronically sleepy. I nonetheless finished writing the second part of the brochure "The Spark from Poland" (concerning prayer for the whole world), so in the chapel I thanked God for the fact that under these conditions it was possible, and that only the printing remained to be done. When I finished the prayer and was about to get up, at that very moment something like a "boxing punch" hit me: I fell together on my back with the kneeler, and its desk hit me in the face. The effects were severe: broken teeth, nasal cavity filled with blood (the blood clot would block my nose for months), imbalance, hearing loss. Soon afterwards celebrating Mass became a big problem, as increasing poisoning of my body was occurring. When I lost consciousness, friends drove me to the emergency room, and then a day and a half later to the ICU. The infection in the body was so deep and widespread, and at the same time accompanied by so many complications that most of the next two weeks were a fight for my life in several hospital wards in succession, and I had several blood transfusions. Because for years I had been trying to eat "ecologically", steering clear of anything processed and harmful for the body, the thing that troubled me most was the thought of finding myself in hospital. What would happen - I asked someone - if I went there unconscious and they connected to me to various "inventions", disrupting my body's activity and turning off its self-defense mechanisms, replacing them with various substances administered into the blood? Now God had given me the cross that I feared the most! Although my entourage - the hospital staff and my friends - did what they could to help me, this month's treatment caused me to extreme exhaustion: I could not stand on my feet, my voice became very weak, and my body weight was no different from when I had been in elementary school, when my father called me "skinny." I lost 14 kg ... My eyesight, which until then had been almost perfect, would not allow me to read even one page of the Breviary. What will come next - I do not know. For now I am at home and slowly, with great difficulty, I am recovering - I am returning to a world, which I had been so close to leaving ... The "voice crying in the wilderness:" Prepare ye the way of the Lord"' fell silent after fulfilling his role: when St. John the Baptist felt unwanted and wanted to become a "nothing", God sent an angel for his soul. I can hardly compare myself to him, but I was troubled by similar thoughts: I wanted to be silent and to isolate myself from the world, longing for Heaven, for had I not essentially accomplished what God had entrusted to me ...? As for the further preparation of the world - God after all has others who (such as the courageous priest Piotr Glas) speak openly and boldly about the Parousia, even citing the same sources,* on which I was basing [my view]. Despite the unfavourable atmosphere of our Lord may call many - wiser and more experienced than I - to be His "voice" in the "desert" of today's world [...] * Fr Piotr Glas, one of Poland's best-known exorcists currently serving in a parish in the South of England, recently gave a series of talks at the Jasna Góra monastery in Częstochowa quoting the 'Blue Book' of Fr Gobbi in extenso.
