Eye's to the Sky's Fr. Malachi Martin

The reason I bring up this interview and comment by Fr. Martin is that the 2014 calendar is the same as it was in 1997. This will not happen again until 2025. Could what ever Fr. Martin was hoping to see in 1997 be coming in 2014?

In 1997, Father Malachi Martin told interviewer Bernard Janzen, “... I think the big factor ... is what happens in the skies ... Keep your eyes on the skies’ is a prudent motto. I think ... Our Lady’s sign is going
to appear in the skies, soon. I think ... it is going to come as a shock to everybody. ... I think … the
Church is going to be hit hard by what appears in the skies.” “Keep your eyes on the skies” was advice Father Martin gave often, but especially during the first half of 1997. For some reason, he expected to see “Our
Lady’s Sign,” as he called it, appear in the sky that very spring. Someone asked him if it might be “Hale Bopp,” a small comet that made an appearance that year. “No,” he said. He was expecting a different kind of sign. When it didn’t materialize by the end of June, he told me: “That means it won’t happen for a while yet; we have a little more time.”

For those that do not know, Father Malachi Martin revealed he read the actual 3rd secret of Fatima. Here is what he said about it:
“I was shown a copy of the Third Secret at the time Pope John XXIII opened it and sought the advice of a group of Cardinals in 1960. One of those Cardinals was Augustin Cardinal Bea, and I was his assistant.” “The apostasy in the Church forms the backdrop or the context of the Third Secret. The apostasy is just beginning now. But the chastisements foretold in the Secret are very real, physical chastisements, and they are terrible!” He then related the exchange he had had with Cardinal Bea, when the Cardinal emerged from the meeting Pope John XXIII was holding with his advisors, looking pale as a sheet: “ ‘What’s wrong, Your Eminence?’ I asked him. ‘We’ve just killed a billion people. Look at this!’ He handed me the single sheet of paper with those 25 lines of handwriting. Since that day, every word of this text has been imprinted indelibly in my mind.” Cardinal Bea had made the statement about “a billion people” because the Pope had just made the decision not to release the Third Secret, and not to consecrate Russia.

Taken all together, the clues he revealed about the Third Secret can be divided into three categories, which he lists in his book, The Keys of This Blood: “A physical chastisement of the nations, involving catastrophes, man-made or natural, on land, on water and in the atmosphere of the globe. A spiritual chastisement … [consisting] of the disappearance of religious belief, a period of widespread unfaith in many countries. A central function of Russia in the two preceding series of events. In fact, the physical and spiritual chastisements, according to Lucia’s letter, are to be gridded on a fateful timetable in which Russia is the ratchet.”

‘We’ve just killed a billion people. Look at this!’ He handed me the single sheet of paper with those 25 lines of handwriting.

Where did you get this from Fatima? It certainly refutes Cardinal Bertones 62 line of the vision. On 4 pages.

I do believe of course in the released 4 page vision, just missing the 25 line 1 page secret.

I recommend caution on Fr Gruner, he has been suspended.

    DECLARATION ON SUSPENDED PRIEST
    Congregation for the Clergy

On 13 September 2001, the following declaration was released by the Congregation for the Clergy. It was signed by Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos, congregation prefect, and by Archbishop Csaba Ternyak, secretary.
"The Holy See has received several news reports concerning the so-called Conference for Peace in the World, which is being planned for Rome for October 7 to 13 and which has been organized by Fr. Nicholas Gruner of Canada.

"The Congregation for the Clergy, upon the mandate from a higher authority, wishes to state that Rev. Nicholas Gruner is under an 'a divinis' suspension, which has been confirmed by a definitive sentence of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signature.

"The activities of Fr. Gruner, therefore, including the above-mentioned conference, do not have the approval of legitimate ecclesiastical authorities."

”The obedience which we render to a superior is paid to God, Who says, ‘He that hears you hears Me;’ so that whatever he who holds the place of God commands, supposing it is not evidently contrary to God's law, is to be received by us as if it came from God Himself; for it is the same thing to know His Will, either from His Own, from an Angel's, or from a man's mouth.”
-Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, Father and Doctor of the Church

”The truly obedient man does not know what it is to delay and put off the business till tomorrow; he is an enemy to any kind of demur; he prevents the superior, and even gets the start of his commands. His eyes and ears are always open to the least sign that is given him; all his other senses, and every power within him, faithfully waits the motion of his superior. He does what he is bid, goes where he is commanded, and is always ready to receive and execute any order.”

This is the tricky part. It was for us/RCF during the pedophile scandal.

    I read the link Padraig,
Struggling to understand canon law ,lol . In lay mans terms, what is the problem with the' Fatima priest' exactly?
    He upholds the faith,
    He respects the Holy Father,
    He promotes Our Blessed mother,
He rejects the party line on Fatima being fulfilled.
It seems he is being persecuted for being faithful, while so many priests and Bishops can do and say what they like without any censure.

What do you really think of him Padraig?
What does your heart tell you?

    Mac,

That is exactly my question on obedience, and then pastoral. How pastoral are those that punished him? Who has disobeyed the Blessed Mother on the Fatima consecration? Isn't that "contrary to God's law"?

St Louis De monfort...Third, you can understand the mission of St. Louis as a rejected prophet. He raised high the standard of the fight, but at the same time he was rejected, hatred, and persecuted - just as the true counter-revolutionaries are today. The bad people laughed at him and despised him just as they laughed and despised Our Lord Jesus Christ. He received an order to stop preaching and leave the district, and he obeyed. He did not become discouraged. He was forbidden to speak publicly, and he obeyed.

However he wrote. And what did he recommend? He recommended the fight: to not accept passively those who blaspheme and curse, those who sing immoral songs and become drunk. He instructed his disciples to react, to protest and stand up to those bad people. You can see, therefore, that he was a fighter.

    Fr Gruner is a fighter.

The sign in the skies sounds like the Warning of Garabandal.

But then he intimates that it is 'our Lady' s sign'. Could it be an appearance of our Lady for the whole world to see?

    What is our Lady's sign?

This is the phrase in that quote that is worth pondering..... "Our Lady’s sign is going to appear in the skies, soon. I think ... it is going to come as a shock to everybody. ... I think … the Church is going to be hit hard by what appears in the skies.”
Why would the Church be hit hard by what appears in the sky? That's the question.

When contemplating the 5th Glorious mystery Revelation 12v1 says 'A great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and on her head a crown 12 stars'.

I never thought that this was literal but perhaps it is This could be the sign Fr M Martin was referring to?

Such a sign must surely shake even the faithful as it surely would be one of the signs of the times.

He seems to have fallen a foul of the Vatican for diobedeince, I suspect from what he has been saying about a Vatican coverup over Fatima.

I would not enter into judgement of Fr Gruner Personally, only God will judge. But these are the guys (the Vatican) who sit in the chair of Moses and so we must obey them .

Padre Pio got forbidden to hear public masses and to hear confessions for several years. Even though I would alwasy have considered Padre Pio a great saint I would always have obeyed the Vatican and no way would I have went to confession or mass with him during this.

The same for Fr Gruner. Who knows he may be a great saint for all I know, but obedience is all :everything. Rebellion the sin of the devil.

It was the same for Garabandal and the apparitions at Amsterdam when they were under the ban I left them alone, when the local Bishops opened the door I went back to them.

Obedience is everything. Look at Our Lady who is the exemplar of obedience.

If the day ever comes they lift the ban on Fr Gruner I will go back to listening to him; till then no.
