Something caught my attention merely by accident just recently and I thought it would be appropriate to mention it on this thread. I was reading the messages of Our Lady of Akita and on this particular webpage there was picture of the wooden statue of Our Blessed Mother in the chapel that Sister Agnes Sasagawa was praying in when the messages started. And looking at the wooden statue of Our Lady of Akita, I suddenly was struck by the similarities between it and the image of Our Lady of All Nations. They are almost identical.
Richard67, the simularities are well known. Back in the mid 80's a friend of mine from Opus Dei, who was also a renown eye surgeon, had a business trip to Tokyo, Japan and I suggested he make a trip to see our Lady of Akita. He had not heard of her, but indeed made the 2 hour train ride from Tokyo to the hermitage, was able to talk with Sister Agnes and brought me back a 8x7 picture of Our Lady of Akita. It was an awesome experience for him.
