I too have felt that the time to concentrate on news has passed. I used to be a real news junkie. Now I don't even like to listen to too much talk on EWTN if it is not spiritual. I listen to enough news to stay informed in a Matthew 24 way of seeing the signs. At work in my home office I mostly listen to Christian music because I can sing and pray at the same time interspersed with my own Rosary and Divine Mercy CD's. I too have no idea why the Lord asked me to be Catholic and set my heart on fire but I keep hearing the Lord tell me that I am to be a lifeboat for my family and friends and also a translator not so much now but when the storm is full force and those who are asleep including many dear friends from my old Mainline Protestant church and my fallen away Catholic friends and family need to understand what is going on.

How wonderful that you are called to translate! It will be very helpful to our separated brothers and sisters to have mentors who "speak Protestant". They are all on my beads - we need to pray that their hearts will be prepared for the whiplash of the warning. I feel a heaviness in my spirit for those who will resist the acceptance of Catholic teachings.

Yes, I am bilingual as I like to call it when I do my Legion of Mary work in the nursing homes- it comes in handy when we visit and hit some resistance from Non Catholic Christians. I usually win them over by praying the Lord's prayer their way which is the way I grew up or singing a hymn with them and talk about my Sunday School past. I have gotten many of them to accept Divine Mercy prayer cards because it is Jesus. As the Lord kept telling me when I was going through RCIA- I am still your Jesus, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

    Yet another sinkhole.
It's unreal how something so weird, and something I never heard tell of until recently, has become just another news story.
This one, in England, happened just the other day. It may have been helped by weather and the presence of an old lead mine, but still, it's getting bigger every minute and is over 100ft wide, and so deep, the bottom cannot be seen. Astonishing.

It feels as though the old system (primarily masonic in origin) is coming apart and the slavery of materialism is beginning to come to an end, to be replaced by an era of the Holy Spirit. There are definitely good things ahead regardless of the trials that might also be coming.

President Vladimir Putin said on Friday 29 August that Russia’s armed forces, backed by its nuclear arsenal, were ready to meet any aggression, declaring at a pro-Kremlin youth camp that foreign states should understand: “It’s best not to mess with us.”

    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news...g-towards-nato-membership-pm/article20274217/

Putin told the assembly, on the banks of a lake near Moscow, the Russian takeover of Crimea in March was essential to save a largely Russian-speaking population from Ukrainian government violence. He said continued fighting in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists launched an uprising in April, was the result of a refusal by Kiev to negotiate.

Just read the following chilling report on twitter (via New York Times):
"Russian soldier in eastern Ukraine greets reporters by shouting in English, "Back in the USSR!" via @NYTimes"

After reading several prophecies and messages, I think I have become somewhat familiar with what the world should expect to experience during the Storm (but who can know exactly!) However, I think I have gotten a bit bogged down by the sheer volume of information. I keep forgetting what I've read and where I read it. Does anyone have or know of a synopsis of this information that I can print out for myself and possibly share with others? It would also be nice if the source of the information was also listed. Thanks!

Iread the news tonight from the BBC.It is horrendous. Far,far worse than the Cuban Missile Crisis. They are talking about us being, 'On the point of no return'.

The extraordinary thing is people are sleep walking towards it as though nothing was happening. Was it like this in 1939? Probably.

    Pray,pray, pray.

If Russia moves against Ukraine and China moves against Philippines, Japan and Korea. And everyone turns on Israel...the world is in big problems.

In the UK tomorrow there are three big conferences recruiting for volunteers to join the Ummah to create a worldwide Islamic caliphate. Cameron hasn't stopped them from going ahead, so I guess with leadership like that, we are sleep-walking into a lot of things.

The official outbreak of World War II was 75 years ago this coming Monday... when Germany went into Poland followed by the USSR on September 17. When you have the Russian President rallying support by saying that the West needs to remember Russia's nuclear arsenal, it's clear that we're into very dangerous territory indeed. There are some places whose leaders don't seem to be sleeping and are trying to sound the alarm: Rumania, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland (wonder what they have in common...). But tragically, in the White House - unlike the Cuban Missile Crisis - it just seems like there's nobody at the bridge right now.

I suspect their is nothing more dangerous in time of war than a leader who is thought weak or uncertain

I have a feeling Putin was laughing and giving the finger during the week when he said that the Russian troops in Ukraine were there, 'On holiday'. He is very, very confident and I can see why.

At the same time I am glad I am not trying to sleep in the White House at the moment, it must be their very worst dream come to life.

We must pray for all World Leaders, pray, pray, pray.
