Kiev evidently finds itself in a quandary seeing Russian manoeuvres on its border: the Ukrainians have apparently abandoned their attempt to take back the town of Sloviansk (population 100,000) from the hands of the separatists. Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed 'People's Republic of Donetsk' has announced a general mobilization of its supporters in the Eastern Ukraine, saying that 'this means civil war'. Yes all you write is true Peter and it is horrible, it is turning the clock back to the 19th century. I had a PM today from a lady who said she has been having it rough since Easter, including very unsettling dreams. Same with me, reading posts on the forum I suspect others have been the same. Well all we can do is pray. If I could not pray I would feel helpless, but prayer makes me feel strong. it was the most beautiful evening yesterday and I was walking back home from the sea with the dogs and I felt the strongest sense of the presence of my parents smiling down on me. I responded with prayer and I felt many, many more loved ones joining them just watching me and smiling. I felt such consolation. Without faith , looking at the way things are headed I would despair. Faith and prayer are everything.
I confess I feel amazed when I see Westerners praise or defend Putin. Soon the very same people will scream curses at him from the bottom of their hearts.....I am glad I am not a Russian living in the USA.
Putin is also very cunning by taking incremental steps to implement his true agenda. He is taunting and making someone else make the first strike.
Fatima, I agree with Andy's reply. Please don't worry about the govt trying to come after us and confiscate our weapons. It would lead to civil war but first ask yourself, who would go do the work? Surely there's some in the military and police forces who are sympathetic to the progressives, but the vast majority are conservative freedom loving Americans and there is no way they'd allow themselves to go do that work. I know a lot of military and police and they dislike Obama and the progressives as much as most of us do.
Re. Putin, I don't trust him one bit. But I don't trust our current Western govt. leaders either. It's quite a mess right now with the lack of a true global leader. We need someone to take the lead. There's many out there yearning for the someone to bring the Truth to the front again. Will it take God to wake us up visa via The Warning? Seems very likely in these times. But until then, as our parish priest preached on Easter Sunday "There is only one path to Heaven and that is through the Cross. If anyone tells you something different, my friends, they are lying to you." So let's all bear our crosses with Faith that our Lord will lead and protect us, but I do urge all to take precautions (the day after Obama was re-elected I starting searching for a cabin in the mountains that was self sustainable with fresh water and land to farm on and I found it, but didn't buy, I pray I don't regret that decision)

I am sure though that the the evil one though will try to portray this world leader to be the beast and the great pope to come to be the antichrist. Just back from a few days vacation in Kilkenny, had nice meals, nice glasses of superior wine, weather superb with nature in all its fines splendour - so idyllic one would never suspect that we are on the verge - So many posts on this thread since I left - but we cannot ignore what we all feel - we are on the cusp - This will prove to be a prophetic thread in due course.
I'm going to go out on a limb here as lay out a possible scenario that I feel could happen. How could martial law unfold? Well if one holds to Catholic prophecy, we know that apocalyptic natural disasters will unfold in unprecedented fashion all over the world. That complied with major global war conflicts and economic collapse (even Mark Mallett's post speaks of all this taking place) lays the groundwork for societal anarchy. Keep in mind all prophecy is clear on the tribulation to take place will be worse then anything the world has ever experienced. Because of societal and governmental collapse the county will assume martial law. We already have a government in power who hates free citizens to have guns. We know that the same leadership in power today has ordered well over a billion rounds of AR ammunition, over 1000 armored vehicles and multiple drones, not for the military, but through and for the Department of Homeland Security, not to mention its hatred for and refusal to follow the constitution. Now when people have their bellies filled, a warm home, plenty of clothing, a job and money they are for the most part civil. What happens when the government, societal and economic collapse takes place? Surely you know that people are not the same. A large portion will become like animals and will kill, steal and do whatever it takes to survive. They are no longer rational. Religion means nothing at this point to most. It becomes a dog eat dog world. You need only to read about how all this came true in Argentina in the 90's. I read a book on it and it played out just like I have written. At this point you think cowboys and ranchers are going to win against a AR's, armored vehicles and drone strikes? No, they will come for your guns and it will be total anarchy. Plenty of rational people now will join the civil defense (police)orchestrated by our government, because it puts food in the bellies. Many good people will have turned bad during these times. In a country like the US, where abortion, gay life styles, pornography, sex, drugs etc.... does anyone think for a moment that we will be a blessed nation under God's protection? A small number of remnant will be, but not the country as a whole. Maybe I have painted and extreme picture, but I believe it is not only probable, but likely to unfold in some fashion as aforementioned. This all takes place before the Warning.
I have thought that too sadly Fatima, I just keep clinging to hope and faith that it just can't be so. The number is 6. 6 meals from total anarchy. I have already decided that I would rather die of starvation than turn in my fellow man. Is this something to fear though? Is this something that has to take place? Can we trust in our Lord and our Mother. Can we trust that our families can be sheltered and protected and fed by mana from heaven? I sure would like to hope so and think so but it is in God's will and not my own. I pray and hope your timing is wrong and that this does not occur before the Warning but if some kind of conflict breaks out in Russia and Europe, I am quite certain that economic collapse and tactical nukes in certain cities around the world will fly first. I still feel that this country as sold itself out to Russia and China. China is gobbling up land, infrastructure and resources in this country like no other (a big reason why I feel we will never be emp'd because to do so would create nuclear core meltdown of well over 100 reactors in this country and thus render all the resources and land useless). How can they get it all though? When in history has this ever occurred? Occupation by foreign forces never works. Asks the US in Vietnam, the Russians in Afghanistan, The US in the Middle east, etc etc. What can we do at this point other than trust in the Divine Will of the Lord. Will you turn in your neighbor for food when your family is starving or would you rather die? I would rather die and as harsh as it sounds watch my children die than turn on my neighbor or turn on the Lord. It is easy to say this now as I sit comfortably on my couch and type this with a full belly and roof over my head but I would like to think that I could be strong enough to have faith and trust and do what is right and needed when/if the time comes. You have not painted a extreme picture but very likely one and I pray for you and all those who love the Lord and Our Mother to be a blessed protected remnant under her mantle or at least die quickly and be taken home!
Modern society is 3 missed meals away from chaos. Remember what happened with hurricane Katrina. Looting and violence happens quickly. I I don't think the picture Fatima paints happens until after the warning. I think it will get bad before the warning, but not that bad. After the warning I envision Yellowstone blowing, potentially causing an EMP type of situation. Others here have had so many dreams or visions of attacks on the US anything is possible. I do think once martial law is calledv ...and it will be called...everything will hit the fan in the US.
ha, ha...we were posting at the same time. 3 missed measls or 6...I don't know but society is very, very soft. We probably won't have all of our gadgets either and that alone will drive some people over the edge pretty quickly.
I know I haven't had such dreams or anything like that. But I've also had to work 11out of the last 14 days, so I'm dog tired and sleep like a baby. I also don't read any web sites except this one nor listen to talk radio anymore. Maybe that could be part of it to? Maybe I should be more focused on the future but I only have the time and energy to worry about today's problems...there are plenty of those there!
