Ya know, when the planes hit on 9/11, shortly after my disbelief, I thought look out here comes another excuse for prejudice toward another group of people. Of course there is a lot most of us don't know about that (myself included). I've picked up bits and pieces, wondering where the truth really is. We know governments were and are grossly corrupt. We just don't know how thick and where the interconnects are. I suspect they are everywhere.

That being said, we look forward with an eye searching for Wisdom (all gifts) of the Holy Spirit and protection from Christ, Our Mother, our communion of Saints! The ride will get bumpier my brothers and sisters.

  2. Looks like the deep state hangovers are funding with taxpayers' $$ their globalist agenda/message now in those nations that are fighting back, not willing to commit national suicide. Real election interference.....by us!

U.S. State Dept Puts $700,000 into Hungarian Media, Demands ‘Programming’ Against Orban, Patriots

The U.S. State Department has courted controversy by announcing it will plough $700,000 into Hungarian media, angering the country’s anti-globalist, conservative government.

The funding was announced by U.S. Chargé d‘Affaires David Kostelancik, who has previously appeared to openly criticise the Trump administration by alluding to “apparent inconsistencies in [U.S.] foreign policy” and remarking that “not every criticism of the government is ‘fake news’.”

Breitbart London spoke to a State Department official who confirmed it supports what it calls “democracy and human rights programming” in many countries, and that its intentions in Hungary — a NATO ally — are to “support media outlets operating outside the capital … to produce fact-based reporting and increase their audience and economic sustainability”.

The State Department also echoed Kostelancik’s claim that too many Hungarian news outlets are sympathetic to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s popular conservative government — which has earned powerful enemies by opposing the European Union on mass migration, building a highly effective border wall, and exposing the network of European politicians deemed “reliable allies” by billionaire open borders campaigner George Soros.

The obvious subtext to all of this is that the State Department funding effort is intended to bolster anti-government and opposition media. This suggests it is still pursuing Obama era, anti-conservative policy objectives internationally in defiance of President Trump, who has praised Prime Minister Orbán — the first European leader to back him — as “strong and brave”.

The Hungarian leader has maintained a position of strong opposition to “globalist elites, the bureaucrats who serve them, the politicians in their pay, and the agents of the Soros-type networks that embody their interests” despite fierce opposition from Brussels, pro-mass immigration NGOs, and left-liberal U.S. media, believing he is standing up for a “silent majority” of hard-pressed families across the West, who wish to preserve their Christian heritage and national identity.

For its part, the Hungarian government has denounced the State Department for what it regards as blatant interference in its internal affairs ahead of national elections in Spring 2018.

“What is this if not an intervention in the election campaign and the domestic politics of Hungary? Which Washington office can judge the applications of media organisations from a Hungarian county and what kind of balanced service they would like to offer?” asked Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, who said it was shocking that American taxpayers’ money was being used to — to quote the State Department — “educate journalists on how to practice their trade” in an allied democracy.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has summoned the U.S. Chargé d‘Affaires, asking for an explanation, and told him that we consider this a political intervention by the U.S. Department of State ahead of the elections,” a spokesman added.

    etoa,

Yep, I think that the Red Dragon from Revelation 12 may take many forms and one form may be the one which Saint Pope John Paul II spoke of in your post. The Seven Heads and Seven Crowns may be the following monarchs: Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and the Ten Horns may be the following nations: Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Turkey and Yemen. There have not always been 7 monarchs in this region of the world, the UAE is a relatively new country. In addition, the timing with what we see happening in Europe (along with many other places) based on what JPII stated in your post also lines up. Christianity is getting suffocated, quite literally, in some parts of the world.

IMHO, the following quote from Saint Pope John Paul II stands out the most, "You, the Church of the third millennium, must contain the invasion. But not with weapons. Weapons will not be enough, but with your faith, lived with integrity."

I think that the blame is on almost everyone but it is well overdue for Pope Francis to be ruling with an iron scepter and sharing some "tough love" with the world.

I believe that communism is already all around us in many different ways but when things get worse in Europe, Russia will probably get involved in one way or another.

I have to agree. The link you included is another place I found that reference. No doubt Pope Francis has advisors who are aware of these prophesies. I can't believe he is unaware.

  5. I get the impression though that Mr Putin's expansive vision of power for Mother Russia (while motivated by megalomania) is in opposition with the elitists' globalist vision for its own utopian materialistic survival. In fact that second NWO/globalist vision may be the motivator for the prophecy of Russia invading Europe in rather a hurry! Those two commanding posts, while both are spurred on by an inevitable totalitarian control whichever wins out, by their very natures will be vying for the same materialistic vision for the planet....and just who gets the control. Throw China's own materialistic intentions of the same into the mix and the resulting world chaos and horror will set the stage for both the Warning itself and the AC.....after the Warning! One can see then how the Warning itself will be the greatest act of Mercy, coming into such a state of the world.

  6. I don't think the current Pope is necessarily geared towards the mystical....like what the Church as evolved to become itself....except perhaps within the boundaries of his grandmother's personal devotions to the Blessed Mother. It seems like Marxist exposure in certain third world countries has had the effect of relying on the material world to first work things through before necessarily inviting the intervention of the mystical Church/God's revelation of His Divine Will as the truest form of help for the day's problems.

They took the mystical out of the seminaries years ago. There is barely an older Priest who speaks of these things - I don't even hear about Church approved apparitions - not even Fatima - in our Churches. Very sad, but Our Blessed Mother is raising up new "sons" for the Church - the young Priests are speaking out - thanks be to God!

"The huge Red Dragon is Marxist atheism, which appears with ten horns, namely with the power of its means of communication, in order to lead humanity to disobey the Ten Commandments of God, and with seven heads, upon each of which there is a crown, signs of authority and royalty. The crowned head indicate the nations in which atheistic communism is established and rules with the force of its ideological, political and military power." Fr. Gobbi, MMP #404, May 14,1989

    Lynne,

I think that the Red Dragon which scripture tells us is the devil and Satan has taken many forms and will continue to do so until he meets his end when he is thrown into the pool of fire and brimstone.

Another member posted a video recently from Sensus Fidelium in which I think that Father Wolfe states that the color red from the Red Dragon symbolizes the blood of the martyrs of the church. I believe that there will be many correct analogies for the Red Dragon. When I speak of those nations that I listed I am speaking of the jihadists only. It is interesting that in the video which I am speaking of, Father Wolfe ties these two things together that is the Marxists and the jihadists, this is found at around the 1:00:00 mark,

Ding... Ding... Ding..... We have a winner

    https://dwightlongenecker.com/americas-two-catholic-churches/

As I travel around the country visiting parishes and speaking at conferences I am constantly amazed at the reality of two separate Catholic churches existing together with practically no conversation between them.

On the one hand we have what might be called the American Liberal Catholic Elite. They occupy most of the academic institutions. They have their own East Coast publishing houses, and universities with prestigious reputations. They write papers and award one another with honorary degrees and talk a lot about helping immigrants. In fact they don’t really talk about much of anything other than that and, of course, being kind to homosexual people and people who are divorced and remarried and so forth.

They do their theological writing and research and further their academic careers. They also pretty much dominate the hierarchy–most of whom are men from the same elitist background–or men who have clawed their way into it. They network together, ease the way for one another and put together an accepted, smooth public face of Catholicism in America. They are the establishment. They run things pretty much like a corporation or government bureaucracy, hiring public relations professionals, lawyers, fund raising companies, insurance firms and human resources professionals. It is fairly efficient, smooth and dull.

The liberal elite push their politically correct, essentially humanistic and rationalistic agenda using the usual mass media channels where they have friends and allies. Their religion is the acceptable moralistic, therapeutic Deism. Their audience are people much like themselves, Catholics of a certain generation who have presided over a disastrous departure from the faith. Their convents are empty. Their monasteries about to close, their seminaries shrinking and their families small. For this they usually blame shifting demographics and other cultural factors beyond their control. They see their mission now as managing the decline and continuing to adapt the faith to the surrounding culture in an attempt to keep the show on the road.

Then there is the other Catholicism in America. Its a grass roots project which affirms the essential dynamism of the Second Vatican Council–but in a way the proponents of the “Spirit of Vatican II” can’t stand. This is the church of self organized Diocesan Men’s Conferences that take place in an increasing number of locations across the USA. They attract 500 – 2000 men to hear energetic evangelists and preachers spark their faith.

This Catholic America is lean, energetic and entrepreneurial. Here you find converts starting street mission apostolates that grow at an amazing rate. Here a baker organizes and promotes an apostolate to promote fasting and a former marine starts a business doing brisk business designing and selling “warrior rosaries.” Here a new monastery or convent starts up and within a few years is bursting with new vocations and starting a second priory. Over there a little college starts up or folks start their own classical academy.

This Catholicism also has its publishing houses, papers, website and journals, but many of them are new start ups–seeking to renew the culture and engage in the public square in a positive and creative way. This is the Catholic Church of March for Life, EWTN and self organized Eucharistic conferences, Marian retreats and personal pilgrimages. These are the folks who found and fund missions to the developing world, run organizations for businessmen to network and sponsor pilgrimages to Rome and the Holy Land.

These are the folks who believe in angels and demons, the reality of the spiritual battle, subscribe to traditional views on worship and the sacraments and are likely to take Humanae Vitae seriously. They don’t connect with Pope Francis like they did John Paul and Benedict. Some criticize the pope, but most are not disrespectful. They just shrug their shoulders and say “Pope Francis is a good man but not such a good pope. That’s okay. Soon there will be another pope. Now what have I got on my ‘to do’ list today?”

This is what John Allen at CRUX calls “Catholic tribalism” and what interests me about it all is how little connection there is between the two tribes. There is virtually no conversation between them.

The liberal elite, who think they are so influential, have virtually no influence at the grass roots level. The folks who are part of grass roots Catholicism get on with their apostolates, organizing their conferences, starting their radio stations, funding their activities and are oblivious and happily ignorant of the agenda and activities of the liberal elite. They don’t read the liberal papers, journals and websites. They shrug their shoulders at the learned articles that criticize the Scriptures, knock the church and defend the secular agenda.

Likewise the liberal elite of New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and LA are largely unaware of this “other Catholicism” in America. When they learn about it they are amazed and shocked that such Catholics not only exist but prosper. When they do learn about it they are likely to totally misunderstand it, take the extremists as typical and then talk in horrified terms about “extremist groups who dominate the conversation in blogs and incendiary websites. They’re likely to give airtime to European liberals who understand the American scene even less and imagine that this other American Catholic Church is full of mentally ill radicals who are aligned to prosperity gospel preachers and other rednecks clinging to their guns and religion.

As the coastal elite of the Democrat party were shocked and horrified to think that so many Americans in the flyover states voted for Trump, so the coastal elites of American Catholicism would be dismayed to actually sample Catholicism on the ground somewhere other than in the decaying mansions of their increasingly out of touch and out of date Catholic bubble.

Does a post like this cause division? I don’t think so.

It recognizes the division that exists and doesn’t paper over the cracks.

What to do about it? Not much. Get closer to Jesus and Mary. Try to understand the other side if you can. Then get on your knees and roll up your sleeves and do what you can with what you have where you are.

  12. I think you can already see these elitist heads of the means of communication effecting now just what is permitted as far as news and opinion. When using say, Google, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook et al you have to expect that everything is being observed one way or the other and noted. And one must not remain naive that ALL of the possibilities for info on any topic are being offered without prejudice. Certain topics are completely verboten in fact or handled by hired debunkers if they should even make it to the forefront. The Illuminati are great distractors.....their "brightness" is that of "Lucifer's" in order to blind from the truth. But then to match such attempts we also have the devotion for these times, "The Flame of Love", which effects of the grace offered being to blind Satan within all of humanity!

Interesting too that at the same time all of this underground/deep state control of what the masses can hear or see we have surprisingly been given a rather unexpected and loud "horn" at the top now, singularly taking on the massive "authority" of those hopeful of global control, yelling over and over from a rather large pulpit himself...."FAKE NEWS; FAKE NEWS; FAKE NEWS;!! and to the utter chagrin of the "sophisticated", don't cha know!

And now also we are suddenly seeing a long overdue seemingly massive interruption of the decades old "sexual revolution" with more revelations coming out of the various kinds of woodwork every day. They had handed over their souls and minds to that other blinding light and now what are they left with as they become uncomfortable pariahs to the others waiting in the wings, fearful of their own exposures. Perhaps even this is a great grace of exposure followed by destruction of such finite crumbling systems in order to prepare more and more for the Warning by means of public humiliation. These certainly are surprising times....turning not only the earth upside down but most importantly turning the "comfortable" expectations of many on their heads, wondering.....what should I do next. Hopefully they too will find real "lights" to show them the way.

  13. Migrant Crisis-Hit Italy Sees Half of Citizens ‘Feel Like Strangers in Their Own Country’

People across the West increasingly feel like they are “strangers” in their home countries, with Italy leading the pack.

Ipsos Mori research, cited by Chatham House fellow Matthew Goodwin, notes that some 49 per cent of Italians — who have borne the brunt of the migrant crisis recently — agree with the statement: “These days I feel like a stranger in my country.”

Since an expensive and not always entirely effective deal between the European Union and Turkey brought the so-called Eastern Mediterranean Route into Greece under some semblance of control, Italy found itself becoming ground zero for the migrant crisis.

Tens of thousands of boat-borne illegal migrants — transported by people-smugglers linked to terror groups and organised crime, aided and abetted by EU and EU member-state ships, as well as so-called “rescue” ships operated by Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) — began travelling to Italy.

Initial landfall is often made on islands such as Lampedusa and Sicily before onward travel to the mainland and northern Europe. The former is reportedly in a state of near collapse, while the latter has seen ultra-violent heroin and prostitution gangs taking an increasingly tight grip on its nightlife.

Research in September 2017 found that seven Italians in 10 think the country has too many migrants, while recent regional elections in Sicily saw eurosceptic-leaning, populist parties oust the establishment Democratic Party with a huge majority.

The U.S., which absorbed roughly 300,000 to 400,000 illegal migrants a year under the Barack Obama administration, according to Centre for Immigration Studies estimates, was not far behind in Italy, with 45 per cent agreeing that they now feel like strangers.

Belgium, the seat of many of the European Union’s major institutions and power bases, was next on the list, at 44 per cent. The national capital of Brussels — which is often regarded as the capital of the European Union as well — is home to infamous Islamist enclave of Molenbeek, a popular bolthole for terrorists which often finds itself under something resembling military occupation.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the countries on the bottom of Goodwin’s list with the lowest number of people who feel like strangers in their homelands are Israel, on 20 per cent, and Japan, on 14 per cent.

Both maintain a robust sense of national identity, strong border controls, and are strict about who they admit and who meets their standards for naturalization.

    "Trump: The End of Jihad?
    By James Lewis
The Sunni equivalent of the pope, the grand mufti of Saudi Arabia, a revered figure in half the Muslim world, has just declared that it is forbidden to kill Jews. This is the culmination of years of delicate diplomacy between Israel and Saudi Arabia, with the active aid and support of Egypt, Jordan, and other peaceful forces in the world, including the United States.

This high-level Islamic declaration of peace comes as a climax after a thunderous avalanche of strategic events, culminating in the Saudi purge by King Salman and his heir apparent, Mohammed bin Salman, which has kept opposition figures like billionaire Alwaleed bin Talal locked up in a hotel, along with dozens of other power-holders in Arabia, to force them to give vast amounts of money to the kingdom, which is facing economic disaster with the fall of oil prices. The militant war faction in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states is under attack from within, and it may be crumbling.

This entire strategic event has been carefully planned and orchestrated by the duly elected president of the United States, one Donald J. Trump, with the active help of Israel, Egypt, and some Saudi royals. Even as you read this, Donald Trump is still hated and pursued by a posse of corrupt leftists in Washington, D.C., now holding an empty bag.

In this major, strategic campaign Trump was diplomatically aided by Egypt's President El-Sisi, who has openly declared the need for deep reform in Islam. The current tremendous opening for peace in the world has been consistently opposed by the Obama-Hillary Democratic Party, which is now being exposed by one sexual criminal charge after the next, so that even Bill Clnton's 26 trips on the Lolita Express with underage girls, run and sponsored by billionaire Jeff Epstein, is finally getting exposure in the corrupt media.

This means total panic for the bad side. It means that Saudi Arabia, the traditional leader of Sunni Islam, is now aligned again with the United States, Israel, and the West against the aging and doomed gerontocracy of Iran, which is closely allied with terrorist gangs like Hamas, Hezb'allah, Qatar, and the Muslim Brotherhood. These rejectionist forces are now facing the prospect of extinction.

Trump and his allies in the Muslim world, in Israel, and in the saner parts of Asia and the West have worked this strategy based on his decades of experience and deep intelligence in the international hotel business, where survival depends on accurate knowledge. Good business and peace go together.

On the Muslim side, King Salman of Saudi Arabia and his son and now heir, Mohammed bin Salman, have mobilized modernist forces in the Sunni world, finally talking the most radical elites, the Sunni priesthood, including Wahhabis and Salafists, into a practical peace agreement.

One likely incentive was Trump's and Secretary Mattis's unambiguous statement that the United States would finally eliminate the known Sunni chain of command of murderous jihad attacks on innocent children, girls, boys, and women marked for sexual slavery, and similar crimes against humanity, in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the rest of the world.

Crimes against humanity are forbidden in every long human tradition, even the ones that are double-faced. SecDef Mattis has been particularly clear on this point.

In Trump's recent trip to China, President Xi received him in the historic Forbidden City, an unsurpassed symbol of the greatness of ancient China. The Forbidden City has not previously been opened by the Chinese communists to visiting heads of state. In China, Russia, and the Middle East, history is alive in the present. Trump's reception in China and Da Nang (Vietnam) was filled with real meaning.

What we are seeing is a rationalization of forces. This is not some sentimental symbol of the kind Obama specialized in. When Obama bowed low to the emperor of Japan and the president of China, those people laughed at him, because an empty suit is funny.

Trump is not an empty suit.

In his historic speech in Da Nang, Vietnam, he told a truth everybody knew but was not ready to say out loud: that Asia has an extraordinary historical tradition and that it is building toward a magnificent future, but that the spread of nuclear weapons to crazy ideologues is a clear and present threat to everyone.

Under Trump, the United States wants to work with China and Vietnam, among other Asian powers, to obviate that threat. That is in the American national interest, but it is also in their vital interest.

Behind the scenes, in spite of Washington madness about the empty "Trump dossier," Vladimir Putin is an authoritarian with common sense. To Russians, the Great Patriotic War is a living memory, but also an enormous sacrifice never to be repeated again. Putin may be a new tsar, and the tsars were never suicidal.

Ballistic missiles from North Korea and Iran now threaten the existence of every nation on earth. Nukes and missiles in the hands of suicide-proclaiming regimes serve no sane nation in the world.

Trump's triumph is also a unified world weapon aimed at rejectionist forces in North Korea and Tehran.

That is the fundamental strategic reality. The threat of uncontrolled nukes should be obvious to every intelligent person in the world, but somehow the Democrats since Jimmy Carter have denied that reality. Instead, they kowtowed to the forces of primitive desert jihad, a military suicide cult similar to Imperial Japan in World War Two.

Such suicide cults exist, but they are utterly incompatible with nuclear weapons and worldwide delivery vehicles.

Donald J. Trump has traveled the world on business for decades, holding conversations with business leaders and politicians. As Trump has shown with his pitch-perfect visit to China, he has deep respect and sympathy for the family traditions that hold China together. His young granddaughter's performance of classical Mandarin children's songs touched ordinary people in China, because it signaled respect and shared values between three thousand years of Chinese tradition and a United States that has rediscovered its own values. China is very familiar with revolution and redemption.

So is Vladimir Putin, who has brought back the Russian Orthodox Church as his major ideological source of support. Ordinary Russians and Chinese are not necessarily religious in the traditional way, but they know who is on their side and who has sown destruction and chaos in the last century. National suicide serves only suicidal fanatics.

France's Emmanuel Macron has watched all this happen very intelligently and has joined in the Saudi breakthrough to peace, something the European Union (which is still stuck in Marxism) has been unable to do. But now they will have to follow the new correlation of powers, whether they like it or not.

Trump described the new shared doctrine of peace and national sovereignty for all nations in his speech in Da Nang.

When we are confident in ourselves, our strength, our flag, our history, our values – other nations are confident in us. And when we treat our citizens with the respect they deserve, other countries treat America with the respect that our country so richly deserves.

This is not some kind of homogenized "globalism." It is global patriotism, national love and pride, and peace, in the face of unimaginable weapons of mass destruction, weapons that do not deliver victory, but only suicide.

It could be called the art of the deal – the one where everybody wins.

    Donald Trump deserves our support."

    ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

The article above may be a bit starry-eyed and overly optimistic, but President Trump does seem to be on the verge of great accomplishments on the international stage, despite the dynamic silence in the mainstream media. Foreign leaders seem to hold him in great respect (note the support of Macron, although the fading Merkel remains a waste of time).

Already, since Trump became President, we have seen the decline of ISIS, the quietening of the wars in Syria and Iraq, the isolation of the Jihad-supporting factions, and manners being put on the North Koreans (not much noise out of them lately). His predecessor was helpless or unwilling to do anything to end hostilities, but already Trump has created yet another opportunity (I know, I know...) for a historic settlement in the Middle East.

Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize for nothing, Trump is deserving of it already. But, guess what?

  16. This news has been discussed quite a bit lately:

Is California about to be hit by the 'Big One'? Fears of a massive earthquake rise after 134 mini-tremors rattle the San Andreas fault in just one week
    • The earthquakes hammered a 3-mile stretch of the San Andreas fault
    • Seventeen were stronger than 2.5 magnitude and six were stronger than 3.0
    • It follows a string of ten tremors that struck Monterey County last week
    • The largest, a 4.6-magnitude quake, was felt in San Francisco 90 miles away
It dramatically increases the likelihood of a major quake in California, at least temporarily, experts claimed.

    garabandal,

Thank you for posting your thoughts, there are some interesting ideas here. I think it is possible that we may come out of the desert by 2021 and begin the era of peace, the completion of the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary which some believe has begun.

I posted about this idea on the following thread, http://motheofgod.com/threads/where...d-signs-of-our-times.10153/page-7#post-189373 .

It is prophesized that the world will experience a huge war for four years and at the end of this terrible crisis the Pope will travel over the sea in a year when Easter Sunday falls on April 25th.

The next time that April 25th falls on a Sunday is in 2021. I wondered if it is possible that, before the year 2021, the 4th Sunday of April may be declared as the date for a common Easter Sunday. Maybe this declaration is the important event for the Church that will coincide with the Miracle of Garabandal or maybe not.

Are you thinking about a date for the common Easter Sunday so that Catholic and Orthodox Easter will be the same
Or are you referring to a standard date for Easter Sunday year after year

  19. Carol55

    Carol55 Ave Maria

    HH,

I am thinking of both actually. I found various articles from the past few years which discuss both of these things. http://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/20...rts-setting-fixed-date-for-easter-sunday.html

This is just a huge guess on my part but that is the only way that I could imagine the prophecies coming to fruition in the time that I believe that they will. I obviously may not be correct.

Member garabandal's post caught my attention because of the year 2021 and his comparison of Moses spending 40 years in the desert to the possible length of time of the Medjugorje apparitions. I think that is a pretty neat observation and would be amazing if it comes true. I also believe that because of the severity of the times that we are in, it is quite possible that the messages are from heaven. Maybe some preternatural messages have been given also but I have honestly not studied Medjugorje very much to make a judgment either way.

Updated to add: The great ecclesiastical event in the Church which is prophesized to occur on the same day as the Miracle of Garabandal may not actually be a "good" event, great can mean important and does not always mean "good". Even if I am correct about this common date for Easter, I sometimes wonder if it will be perceived as a good thing at the time that it occurs.
