It is a really beautiful summers morning here. I got up early and walked up with the dogs to walk in the park. That early the park was closed so I had to take a long diversion through roads to walk up to a little place I know n the bushes were I can sneak in and so walk around on my own the only one in the entire park until it opens later on , whenever the park keepers get themselves organised. By the time I got down to the bottom of the park I felt tired and wished the gates had been reopened so I could go through the gates and so straight on home ,a short distance away. But those locked great gates... But I recalled the words of Jesus at mass during the week in the Gospel were He said that if we have Faith the size of a Mustard Seed and say to a mountain to move, it would move. So I thought to myself, 'Why not?' I will pray for the Lord to open the gates and they will open. So I prayed but no deal. Then the Lord smiled and reminded me of the words of St James, that the reason why our prayers are not answered is that we pray for our own selfish desires. He said that if He answered my prayers the way I wanted I would turn into a kind of Harry Potter super magician and that this was not the life He Himself had led. Of course this was true. So I plodded on resigned to a long walk home. Tired I sat down , but as I did so a van drew up at the gates, a park keeper got out and lo and behold the gates were opened. I felt the Lord smiling and laughing as He said, 'You see the mountains did move, so did I'.
Padraig I watched the whole video and did not find it nice. The video discounts Our Lady of Guadalupe, saying that the tilma of Juan Diego was most likely painted! The video discounts many saints [such as St Theresa of Avila and St John of the cross, and more] suggesting they were mad or suffering from some sort of delusions at the time of their mystical experiences! But the worst was saved for stigmatists! and especially our St Padre Pio! suggesting he faked the stigmatic wounds!
