I really look forward to Mark Mallett's blogs. Never knee jerking his emotions and always looking for words spoken for the times, as if to gauge where we are in the storm all around us. Pope Francis is at the heart of the times in Mark's latest blog Judgement Begins With the Household http://www.markmallett.com/blog/judgment-begins-with-the-household/#more-26370

Though many are not ready to conclude Pope Francis as a False Prophet, he surely has provided sufficient words and writings to make one ponder this thought. What is he doing? Why the ambiguity? Why divide? Why does he clearly favor the progressives in the clergy and downgrade the orthodox? When I look for a false prophet or an antichrist, I look for a person in authority who will be attractive to the world, while showing contempt for the rules and laws of God. He will be sly enough to attract the lukewarm and the indifferent and bold enough to stigmatize those who dare adhere to the black and white of the faith. As for me, I want a man's "yes to be yes and no to be no" as anything less is from the evil one. I don't like the game that is being played on the faithful. I don't like the half-truths. I don't like the ambiguity. Yes, there is good in the man. Yes, he is in the shoes of Peter. And yes, he is marginalizing the orthodox in the hierarchy and replacing them with like minded red hats. At this time, I smell the stench of confusion and division and it is clearly and intentionally coming form the highest office in the church. The unveiling is taking place and I think perhaps more will know with more clarity as the infamous celebration of the worst event in Church history (the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation) is celebrated in 2017, not only in the Protestant world, but by Pope Francis himself who is reportedly working with Protestants on a universal liturgy we can celebrate together.

Thank you Fatima, I sense the storm is indeed here holding my rosary and battening down the shutters for it. May our heavenly mother keep us protected within her heavenly mantle.

I wouldn't like to repeat what I said to myself when I read that "working with Protestants on a universal liturgy we can celebrate together"

Yes, Mark Mallett is outstanding, a writer I really trust and love to read his work.

Fatima a beautiful post which articulates everything I've been thinking and says it far better than I can. I've emphasised what seems to me to be at the heart of it all: 'intentionally' - how could it be anything else?
