Just wondering how many people feel the medjugorje messages will start unfolding soon? As in the next few months. I just have a feeling. Perhaps it's hopeful as I'm looking forward to the triumph.
I have felt that way so many times... Now with the Year of Mercy closed and moving on to the Divine Justice we know must come, I would tend to agree but I am not going to dwell on it. I am just going to ramp up my lenten activities this year, continue to pray more and watch the signs of the times. Maranatha!
Will be curious to see if anything happens March 18th of this year, since Mirjana mentioned in her book that it although it was her Birthday, it was not that reason that she had an apparition each year on that date, and as things unfold we would see why that date has significance to the world.
There was a piece in the, 'Mystic Post' , which indicates it might be so: http://www.mysticpost.com/2017/02/s...f-the-immaculate-heart-of-mary-is-very-close/ Personally I think we are right on top of it. But who knows? Not me.
Hmmm. Interesting. It would make a lot of sense that March 18, 2017 could be very significant especially in this year of 2017!
So the Feast of St. Joseph is the next day, on a Sunday this year. And with St. Patrick's Day on Fri. the 17th, this is nicely set up
His time not ours... More predicting dates, so far on this forum i think we are 0-for-1,763 But one of these days we will get it right. And it will be 1-for-2,987 and will be able to say, see i told you so. I know OP did not post a date. Last 2 years I had a great feeling that things were coming soon, very soon... This year I get the feeling that I better get back to planning for the long term.
It's ironic that St Patrick's Day and Good Friday are two of the biggest drinking days of the year in Ireland.
Living in Ireland, it feels as if a shift is occurring at the moment, or maybe it's just a feeling. Marija from Medjugorje promised Ireland that they would receive "renewal in the Church and the faith" when she spoke here a few years ago. Please God that will happen. I spoke to a priest recently and he said it will require much purification and trials to bring the Irish back to the faith.
The pubs are closed all day on Good Friday, hence off licenses in the south of Ireland experience their busiest day of the year on Holy Thursday.
I have contemplated much on this and can you imagine what an interesting time it will be. We know that the secrets will be revealed three days before their realization (this is correct, no?). It will be three days unlike anything in the history of modern man (for those who believe) and after the first one or two come to fruition (assuming they do), it'll be interesting to see the response of the Church and the believers during the short periods between the secrets. Will it be sackcloth and ashes or will it be like in the time of Noah?
What we know for sure is the darkness is closing in very fast at this moment. Now that darkness is well established with apostasy from the highest levels within the Church, it seems apparent major changes are extremely close now. The enveiling is happening now and sides are being chosen. When the Medjugorje secrets start coming we will have little/no time left the prepare. What you have formed within will be what you take to battle. Look around you. That is what you will have to deal with. Very little who have true faith and so many in confusion. No more will our MOG friends bring support, as we will all be on our own with what we have learned from each other that we could not have found around us. As for me, I am growing weary waiting, as I see family and friends grow deeper into this godless world. Come Lord Jesus Come.
1981-2021 = 40 years 40 years -- our Lady has come to lead us (like Moses) out of the wilderness of unbelief so that we will be converted and prepared for the secrets. In my opinion we have a few years to go yet before the secrets begin to be revealed.
Yes Fatima, my family too is drifting away and I am growing more weary with each passing day. Though the days we are living in are filled with darkness I too pray with you...Come Lord Jesus Come.
For those who wait in hope, an inspiring catechesis from Pope Francis today... ‘Hope helps to see beyond negativity of present’ (Vatican Radio) Self-centeredness and sin corrupt the beauty of Creation, but God does not abandon humanity and turns Creation’s groans into hope for new life. That was at the heart of Pope Francis’ catechesis on Christian hope at his Wednesday General Audience. Drawing inspiration from Chapter 8 of the Letter to the Romans, Pope Francis continued his catechesis on Christian hope. He said that St. Paul reminds us that Creation is God’s gift to humanity but that sin corrupts it. “St. Paul reminds us that Creation is a marvelous gift, which God has placed in our hands, so that we can enter into relationship with Him and recognize the imprint of His love, in whose realization we are all called to collaborate, every single day.” But when we are self-centered and commit sin, the Pope said we break our communion with God, and the original beauty of human nature and creation is marred. “With the tragic experience of sin, having broken communion with God, we damaged our original communion with all that surrounds us and we ended up corrupting Creation, turning it into a slave, submitted to our feebleness. Unfortunately, we see the dramatic consequences of this every day. When communion with God is broken, humanity loses its original beauty and ends up disfiguring everything around it; and where before all pointed to the Creator Father and His infinite love, now it carries the sad and desolate sign of pride and human voracity.” Thus, rather than show God’s infinite love, creation bears the wounds of human pride. Pope Francis said the Lord “does not abandon us but offers us a new horizon of freedom and salvation”. He said St. Paul reminds us of this truth, by inviting us to hear the groaning of all Creation. “In fact, if we listen attentively everything around us groans: Creation itself groans; we human beings groan; the Holy Spirit groans in our hearts.” He said these groans “are not sterile or inconsolable, but – as the Apostle points out – they speak of the pangs of birth; they are the groans of one who suffers, but knows that a new life is coming to light.” Despite the many signs of our sins and failings, the Pope said, “we know that we are saved by the Lord, and even now contemplate and experience within ourselves and all around us signs of the Resurrection, of Easter, of a new creation.” He said the Christian does not live outside of this world, but in it. “The Christian has learned to read all things with eyes informed by Easter, with the eyes of the Risen Christ.” And when we are discouraged or tempted to despair, Pope Francis said the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and “keeps alive our groans and the hopes of our hearts. The Spirit sees for us beyond the negative appearances of the present and reveals to us even here new heavens and a new earth, which the Lord is preparing for humanity.”
What would the Illumination of conscience or Warning be like if it happened on the 18th March when so many people would be waking up with a hell of a hangover after the drinking session Saint Patricks day.
