Hello everyone, I'm new here and would be grateful if prayers be said for my family that has been suffering from separation and financial misfortunes for the past 9 years now. We are cradle catholics and have prayed unceasingly for help but now I'm afraid its taking a physical toll on certain members of my family. Please pray that we are given some respite from this storm and peace returns. Thank you in advance and just to say I am very happy to be a part of this forum. It has been a blessing.
Father in heaven, in Your Son Jesus's Holy Name, please bless Christina's family. Please put a "hedge of protection" around them, please strengthen them and heal them. Please restore their unity and peace. Please give them favor now after this storm. Please grant them financial stability and wholeness. Bless them in every way, Father.
Christina, I will include you and your family especially in my prayers going forth. You are not alone and I pray that the stress you and your family are enduring is abated and you find your way back to each other under God's loving hand.
Praying for Our Lady's intentions for you and your family. Giving the Lot to Mary with all the intentions of the MoG forum in my next rosary. Which is what I do each rosary for my family now! with a few special intentions thrown in. I found when I mention all my intentions individually, it used to end up being a long list, keeping me from the actual prayer! (although speaking them out is good too). One day I cut it down and said....... Dearest Mother Mary I've repeated these wants so many times, I know you know them! so today I'll just ask for your intentions to be fulfilled for my family, mind you I still highlight my most pressing desires, like a job for my son and conversion for such and such. I believe Mary will work it out even if things seem to Go from bad to worse! just keep plugging along persistently with the rosary. I am hoping for a big surprise soon even though some things seem to be going from bad to worse. I pray and hope this for you too. Mary Mother of Jesus be a mother to Christina and all members of the MoG forum and myself now. Amen. Jesus I trust in Thee! Amen.
Christina, We will pray and I ask my Mom, Christine, who died in 1975, to join us in lifting your family up to the Two Hearts! Safe in the Father's Arms!
Welcome Christina! You are in my prayers. May God heal your family....and your family here will be praying for your intentions!
Thank you everyone, your prayers are much appreciated. I shall be praying for all the members during my rosary as well. God bless.
Hi Christina, I am a little late coming to this thread, but I will pray for you and your family! God Bless You!!
KS, I remember many years ago after I had finished reading a Pentecostal book entitled, Prison to Praise, I was riding my bike to join up with some friends. About 5 miles from my apartment, the bike's braking mechanism snapped and embedded itself in the spokes of my rear tire. I was faced with a trek back home carrying my bike. With such an unpleasant prospect before me, I decided to put into practice the instructions in the book. I knelt down and began to praise God loudly for all the good that would come about through my dilemma. About five minutes later, a pick-up truck screeched to a halt and my friend, Jack, from the prayer meeting we attended, jumped out! "Terry, only you would be crazy enough to be kneeling down by the side of the road! What's the problem?" Jack ended up taking me over to his house and fixing my bike. His generous wife, Char, provided me with a feast to eat! It is good to recall that blessing from God every once in awhile. The temptation when confronted with a trial is to respond first with our trouble-shooting skills, and put God second. Turn to God first in all circumstances, whether with gratitude, petition, or praise! Gratitude and praise carry with them a true element of thankful expectation, and are my personal preference. And God bless Jack and Char Jarvis where ever they are today! Alleluia! Ps 150: 1 Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty firmament! 2 Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his exceeding greatness! 3 Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! 4 Praise him with timbrel and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! 5 Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! 6 Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
Thank you all for your prayers!! Keeping each one of you in my prayers as well. Thank you Mario for that lovely story!
