May Gods Will be Done

 

Two nights ago I had a dream about the first two secrets of Medjugorje being revealed and since then my spiritual 'drive' has increased! I can't remember what the secrets were about, but the timing of them was almost one after another.

Any Medjugorje Believers here!

 

Yes! I have been there and have no doubts!

 

I was there. It changed my life!

 

I went there in 2011 with a group led by Michael Brown of Spirit Daily. We stayed at a retreat house attached to Mirana's home. We went to mass, adoration, hiked Apperition Hill and Mt.Kresivic, keeping busy for 7 days.

One morning we went to listen to Vicka tell her story and she spoke from a second story balcony from her mothers home, and asked us to pray and lift up those who were there that were sick. It was very crowded and hot, and my vantage point was across the street on the corner by a religious articles store. From where I was I could see a good number of people who were silently praying. One of these was a priest who was with our group. I was having a hard time praying and was quite taken with the sight of all of these people who really looked like they were connected in prayer-- especially this priest. He was kneeling on gravel with his arms extended and I thought to myself-- "why can't I pray like that?". The cross on Mt. Kresivic was directly over his head. So I thought--ok, please Lord, help me to pray like these people. We were there for Pentecost so I had a prayer I thought of--Come Holy Spirit, come by the means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your well beloved spouse. I must have repeated this prayer 50 times as I watched everyone else praying.
When we finished the prayer time and headed back to the house for breakfast I happened to be walking next to this priest, and I told him that I was watching him in prayer and how Mt.Kresivic was over is head, and that I would feel very blessed if he could pray over me at some point like he was praying earlier. He stopped in his tracks and put his hands on my head and said "Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your well beloved spouse". That's what he had been praying!!

Now, that is not a prayer that rolls off of most people's tongue. I felt that the Lord was letting me know that my struggle to pray was every bit as endearing to Him as a seasoned prayer like the priest that looked so connected to Him.

I had an odd/interesting dream a few nights ago. In it, a man and woman had come to my house during the night and were pulling out the cherry blossom tree that is outside my bedroom window. I saw them doing this but watched in passive curiosity, without trying to stop them or do anything about it. The dream skipped forward to the following day, when this couple came back and began to dig holes and plant their own trees next to where they had pulled out the cherry blossom. At this point I got very angry and opened the window and began shouting at them, asking them what the **** they were doing. The man told me quite arrogantly that they worked for Smuckers (an American company that makes jams and jellies, I believe? How this name came to me I don't know) and that they were entitled by law to plant their fruit trees anywhere they wanted. This infuriated me and I started ranting and raving at them. I woke up furious.

What's interesting though is that my mother and I have lately been complaining that the fruit we buy no longer turns ripe; it shrivels and dries up but doesn't actually ever turn ripe enough to eat (peaches in particular). I was wondering whether this is because it has been genetically modified, and I thought they really should have to display that somewhere on the product. Now out of curiosity I looked up Smuckers, because I know virtually nothing about them (their products are not for sale here in Ireland) and wondered why that name would come up in my dream. So apparently Smuckers started a campaign a few years back to fight against a proposed legal requirement for food producers to display that they've used genetically modified produce in their products! And they won their case. So I think maybe my dream had a message...

 

The Holy Spirit showed me a few things, I will share this one for now.

I had been suffering really bad with a stomach problem, to the point where I hardly slept and I have no idea how I made it through this time. I literally thought I was dying. I was praying really hard, and trying to do my best just to stay alive.

That night I was shown a vision of Our Lady, and there was some playing cards in her hand. The kind of playing cards used in poker and black jack. What was interesting is that I was shown how our prayers and sufferings could be offered up to Our Lady. As they were offered up the suffering and prayers became Gold which went directly onto the cards increasing the Value of the Hand she could play. Not the amount she was gambling, because she was not gambling. But it increased the value of the hand she could play.

Its like the more suffering and prayers we offer, the more she can do.

 

I just had a dream. A small red object was floating through the sky and it was moving the stars in the sky toward it as it went. It was moving from west to east and in my dream I was watching it from my front yard. As soon as it reached as far east as I could see, meteors began to fall. Then the ground shook and when I looked up, all the stars began moving as one. It was like when in a planetarium and the stars move. I had a profound sense of vertigo and fell to the ground. I prayed that I could get back into my house and crawled all the way there. As soon as I got indoors, it was like bedlam erupted outside. Lights, sirens, screaming, and my husband had to knock out 2 people who broke in to steal our son from us. And bizarrely, they left us alone when they say we had the symbol pi on the bottom of our chairs (which of course we actually do not). And then I woke up. Such a strange dream eh?

 

Wow, strange dream!! Sounds like the warning, maybe. Why would people want to steal your son? What is a pi symbol?

Sigh. He has glimpses of truth but everything is in the abstract. I would like to tell this guy that the "force" he's longing for has a name and a face and that he loves him and that he died for him.

 

Amen to that Adoremus. If only he could see.

 

this is Buddhism, or neo-Platonism, or gnosticism, the same idea has taken many forms over the centuries and bits of it can be seen in extreme Calvinism too, as well as Kaballah. The idea that there are 2 forces, one good/spiritual and the other evil/physical is in all of them. The material world, according to Genesis, was created by God and God saw it was good. Any philosophy that says the entire material world and everything physical, including our bodies, are totally evil is not traditional Judaism or Christianity.

 

I woke up last week remembering a snippet of a dream. I was cutting a person's ear; not in anger, but with precision, surgically. I had finished half way when I came to my senses, and thought,"What am I doing? I can't cut a person's ear!!!" Then I woke up.

Reading Mark Mallet's latest post brought the dream back to my mind. When the soldiers were apprehending Jesus in the garden, Peter cut off someone's ear. Jesus rebuked him and put the ear back on, healing the damage.

I think this dream tells me that we are currently in the passion of the Church. I'm reminded to look carefully at the lessons in the gospel - to refrain from making the mistakes of the apostles.

Last night when praying the sorrowful mysteries, I had the strong impression that our church is currently going through the Agony in the Garden, and realized that like Peter did at the time, many faithful Catholics would betray the church. As I prayed, it seemed to me that our church would have to go through all the phases of the Passion before experiencing the Resurrection.

I thought about posting my thoughts last night (they were pretty strong, more like a realization than a thought), but got sidetracked...as frequently happens.

I haven't read any of Mark's recent posts. It will be somewhat eerie for me if he links the church to suffering the Passion as well. I've personally never thought about the church's sufferings in that manner before.

 

I had a dream last night that I was in a large building with many rooms. It was like a school or library. There were lots of rooms with books, some with desks, and there were chapels. I was not supposed to go into the chapels but I really wanted to pray. I look over and Mother Angelica walked by and waved to me to follow her. I followed her into many different chapels and she stood watch so no one told me to leave. I remember a chapel dedicated to St. Joseph and one to Our Lady of Fatima. She never spoke to me but when I was done exploring the chapels she waved bye to me and that was it. Never had a dream with her in it before, at least that I can remember.

 

Sounds like something Mother Angelica would do
