I think the reason why is that Mary is the representation of the exact opposite to the Spirit of the World. She is the Mystical Rose. wheres the world puts its Faith in Scinece and the mundane. She points to heaven and the supernatural whereas mankind seeks to Crown itself as God. As the Virgin Mary and the Immaculate she is herself a walking miracle and a rebuke. Exorcists tell us the one person the demons to not mock is Mary. They are simply not permitted . But man , without terror, does constantly that which even the demons fear to do. But everything has its price and consequences. I would not like to face God at the Judgemnt Seat having mocked His Mother. Just as Devotion to Mary is the most certain Sign of Salvation , mocking Mary is the most certain Sign we are heading to hell...at a run

This outrage against Blessed Mother was linked on another thread too. What shocked me most was how this Anglican cleric should be in the same category as those satanists in Oklahoma City on Christmas eve. I worry about the Churches uniting with this sort of blasphemy from Anglican clerics, again. God preserve us.
I've previously noted that if I changed the words (in the first seven verses of Psalm 21): king, he, and him, over to queen, she, and her, then those verses wonderfully honor Our Lady. I love to honor Mary!The verses can easily be chanted, too! Psalm 21:1-7 (Modified to honor Mary) 1 In thy strength, O LORD, the [Queen] rejoices, and in thy help how greatly [she] exults! 2 Thou hast given [her, her] heart's desire, and hast not withheld the request of [her] lips. I apologize to our Blessed Mother every time I hear something like this. I think the insides of people like that are in such a mess and so full of anger they lash out at the most holy and pure . . .that is why they need our prayers so much. They need to see the light . . .
Yes and that is what Our Lady will be doing , praying for them. They are all Her children too. Nevertheless it is a terrible thing to loose the Fear of the Living God. I must pray for them myself.
Yes I think you are correct, our spirits witness within us, when in a state of grace, when we hear the truth being spoken, and in a similar way the spirits of those of us in serious sin react to the truth by trying not to witness! But in doing so they still witness to the truth.

I see Oklahoma has had another sizeable quake. No deaths thanks God. But the Satanists have much to answer for. Quakes have increased there from a few dozen to 720 this year. Sounds like a build up.
Padraig, I am very grateful to you for posting the link to that offensive article mentioned on this post. I got a reply from Lambeth Palace asking me to name the clergyman. Name the newspaper and article and the date it was published. Thanks to you I was able to send the link by email to Lambeth Palace. And I am grateful to God that they have so far shown a willingness to hear my complaint. Now I hope they will open the link and read it to be able to feel the horror I expressed to them about finding it right in the middle of the Holy Season of Advent. And God willing they may be able to educate their clergymen, this type of reporting is a disgrace to God and to man.
