I have just watched the above video twice!

The first time was beset with so many problems as I played it while looking after 2 of my grandchildren and I never really got to see/hear much, but the little I did hear, made me want to listen again. And so I did.

    How wonderful.

Truly a blessing and I have spoken to my husband about it and have insisted he watch it soon as well.

The book of life. Glory be to God. I must watch it again, so much to take in.

The sin of abortion and the evil it manifests. I now know how to equate the great apostasy and its growing strength with the reality that abortion or the sacrifice of innocence has given so much power to this growing monster. With each sacrificial life offered to the devil, he is able to release evil spirits of homosexuality, malice, hatred to priests, destruction of the church and family and so much more.

Gloria's talk on the role of women, very eye opening.

Thank you Padraig. Where do you get them from and also the time to discern? God Bless You.

    I highly recommend this video.

If the devil's power is growing with each abortion we are in trouble.

It is terrible that every evil act rips hings.

But ont he other hand it is wonderful how every prayer heals and repairs. Prayer is far, far more powerful than evil. The power of each mass well said is incalcuable.

But there is no doubt there is such a landslide of evil in the world.

Some where on the internet, I found Gloria's testimony about her judgement with Our Lord. It was a written one, and she described her judgement the way we were told it would happen as children.

We were told that our parents would be there when we are judged, and their failure to instruct us or any bad example they gave would be shown at our judgement. It was mind blowing.

This is never talked about these days. I wonder how many people would mend their ways if they realised their parents would be there to hear all about what they got up to when they though no one was looking.

But Julia, if the parents are present at the child's judgement would this not assume that parents always die beofre their children, when this is not always the case?

    Just a thought.:)

I don't think the temporal matters in these cases Padraig. Gloria was shown that she was saved by the heartfelt prayers of a poor man who read about her accident in the piece of newspaper that was used to wrap produce he bought at the store (if my memory is right) so his prayers would have happened days or weeks after her NDE and judgment. If God can do that, he can have our parents present at our judgments too even if they're not dead yet.

And that aspect certainly had an effect on me and I have passed on the information to my children!

Padraig, I don't understand how this happens. The thing that all this makes me think from time to time is.

When you think of all the sins we hear about and the violence and cruelty. We will spend all eternity making sure no one ever disobeys God in case we end up having to go through another time in exile to be tested again. :(

Gloria is a dentist by the way. And she does describe having her parents present at her judgement, like we were told as children it would happen. Perhaps it will be at the final judgement, after all lives have finished. ?

I think the title is not correct, it should be "Gloria Polo". Pollo in italian is translated to chicken :).

I just watched this video... I know my sins I think, and I am no better than her. In fact I believe I have done worse, I am not even trying to be humble. I am 100% honest.

I will likely watch it again and take notes for my next confession.

I haven't watched the video yet, so don't know how the question of parents being present at the child's judgement relates. I reckon that what Julia is referring to is the General Judgement when all people will know why we are rewarded or condemned rather than the Particular Judgement which happens immediately upon death when each individual stands alone before God.

For those looking for written testimony, Michael Brown wrote on Gloria Polo a while ago, here: http://www.spiritdaily.net/gloria1.htm

A friend of mine who had an abortion had a vision very similar to Gloria's shortly after the procedure. The devil appeared to her at night. She struggled for hours against his accusations and images of hell. In the early morning Our Lord arrived and told her to go to confession. Since that time she has been involved in post-abortion counseling. Priests in the area call her to talk to women in their parishes. After one dramatic late-night call a few years, she jumped in her car and drove to help find a woman was about to commit suicide in a nearby park. (She was guided to the right place and stopped her.)

Despite this, my friend still has moments of near-despair when she remembers what she did.
