I would like to post a tribute to one of our Priests who died in his sleep on Tuesday night while visiting in Ireland. He was only 57 years old. He had only been in our parish just one year. Some found him a challenge; but some of us loved his spirit. I will always remember him for his little Serenity prayer after Holy Communion. God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And Wisdom to know the difference. He would pray for us the parishioners and ask God to take care of us. I can't remember the words of the prayer he would say; but part of it was "Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a great mystery....." I have to research and write down this prayer for his memory. God bless you Father George, you have caused us many tears at your sad loss. We will miss you very much. Please pray for us left behind, now you are in Heaven. With filial love from Julia.

Often times I wonder if we should praying for someone or too someone. These seems such a case. Prayers going up.
