From my friend Judy. JAN23 Terminal Again BY JUDY ON JANUARY 23, 2014 This time it’s real. This time we have been instructed to choose a time and a place before Agnes chooses it for us. This time the treatments they try don’t work. This time her condition declines and never fully recovers, so she loses something each time. The doctor told us she talked with all the other ICU attendings over the last 48 hours, and they all agree there is nothing more they can do. The doctor told us we are talking in terms of hours or days Agnes has left. The doctor told us the several episodes of Agnes declining are her body telling us she is done. Agnes is done. Done. Now it’s up to us to let her go. We can try to plan for it by preparing a specific time with the pain-killer medicines needed, all the people who we want to be around, for us to be ready and present and not in the bathroom or down in the cafeteria when Agnes leaves this earth. The longer we wait, the likelier it is Agnes will choose her time, and we might not be there, or our priest might not be able to make it in time, or Agnes might suffer more because the medicine she needs to be comfortable won’t be at her bedside. So. How do I announce the death of my child before it happens? Doesn’t that seem weird to anyone else? All I can say is, she will probably go before the weekend is over. We tried to explain to Stephen that the angels were coming to take Agnes to live with Mary and Jesus in heaven, but I’m not sure how much he absorbed. We’ll try again. It was good for us to think about the angels, too. Agnes has one foot out the door, and we’ll stay with her and watch until she leaves with the angels. May you be surrounded by those angels in these hours, days, months ahead...

haven't forgot Daniel may God be with you tomorrow...I will ask my Angel guardian David to do all he can in court tomorrow for you,,funny I have never asked his help before he will probably be bursting with joy that finally he has a bit of work to do, please God you get truth justice and peace tomorrow my crosses are tiny compared to yours... lol don't be freaking out if someone called David says hi or makes himself known
Thanks for all of the prayers and sincere thoughts. I have never asked my guardian angel to fly to someone's assistance without tangible feedback - it is very powerful. I will be sure to welcome all of the angels first! My the Good Lord allow my angel to fly to each of you when you are in your greatest need. My lawyer tells me that after tomorrow, the stenographer has 30 days to provide the transcript. The lawyers then have 30 days to file a brief. Once the briefs are filed, the arbitrator has 30 days to render a decision. There is a 30 day period to appeal (only on procedural grounds thankfully) and then the decision is ratified. Then collection can begin if sides cooperate. My adversary has successfully frozen my previous business bank account and retirement account. We sold our house to pay for legal fees and could have used the retirement account to draw a loan from as we are tapped thin. I can see how the rich and powerful of this world use the legal system to squash all opposition. Yet we are not destitute as God provides and I am not enduring those lonely days Padraig spent in prison during his unjust confinement. I always thought you were amazing Padraig but I really know it more now. A source of consolation has been Fr Ssemakula's book on the The Healing of Families I saw on Spirit Daily. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you read it and pray, do not neglect the prayers of protection - breaking family agreements with stan brings attack.
I have always liked Dan what one French writer said that we are always tempted and tried in the one area where we would least want and the very place we most need. I have always thought this to have a lot in it. I would guess you will come out of this a lot stronger and a lot Godlier than you went into it. Though I do not know if this is much consolation at the minute, perhaps it will be in the future , looking back. The fire that burns us melts us to gold and binds us as one. .
Thanks to all for praying for me and my family. It's all in God's hands now (as it always was). I was reflecting on your comments Padraig and it occurred to me that patience was what I needed most. This has been a long, military like campaign since October 2012 and it is still ongoing. My prayers to God have always been addressed quickly in the past - perhaps a prolonged struggle is the training I need now. Only God knows . One thing I have come out of this experience with is profound humility at the response received from friends I have never met in person thru the forum. Truly it is a gift from heaven.
Hi all, Please keep me and my wife in your prayers as we are facing attacks from her business partner who has stolen very large sums of money from the business. We have forgiven her multiple times and even "wrote" off the money, but she is at it again and is viscously attacking my wife. My anger is at a boiling point and I'm surely committing sin. I need prayer for peace and calmness while at same time I need to make sure my wife and family are protected and there is justice.
Praying, Miker. Sadly the road you are walking happens quite a bit over money. Guarding your family is your duty and fighting for your family implies your adversary will fight back. Don't let hate be part of your fight.
Miker; It helps me, when enduring persecution, to lift my eyes and focus on the big picture. This person is not the enemy; this person is the witless pawn of the Enemy...
Thanks again to my MOG prayer "warriors". God again performed his miracle on me through his Sacrament of Reconciliation. I'm at peace, I've been forgiven and now I too must forgive. I will..it's hard but through His grace and your prayers I will. Is it a coincidence ( I don't think so) that today's Gospel, Jesus us command us to love out enemies and pray for those who persecute us. I am blessed because of this present persecution. I pray I hod onto this thought when it comes again. My prayer group will be at my home later today and know all of you are in my prayers. I will lift your intentions to Our Lord and Savior. Peace.
