Last night on EWTN there was a short segment about a Kansas football player who will play in the Super Bowl. Harrison is his first name, can’t remember his last name. He is an altar server for the TLM Mass and a married man with a child. !!!

We are surrounded by filth and perversion in this world. We need to
teach our children that they will encounter this drag queen crap and worse. They need to know what to do about it. Many years ago, when I taught school, I would tell my students that when they encountered a cesspool, to walk around it and not fall in. Same thing holds today. Don’t get near it. Each soul to their own way of dealing with it with Jesus and Mother Mary.

How wonderful! I will have to see if I can find a rerun of this interview.
I am sick to death of the glorification of drag queens, and company. They believe the media is giving them a platform to push their agenda, but these disordered individuals are also being exploited for profit in the process. They are put on display as 'entertainment ' to bring in ratings. The normalization of these perversions is a product of our politically correct society. They will tear your reputation apart if you refuse to condone their lifestyle. I think there are many people who don’t like it, but they don’t have the faith to speak out, and many are afraid for their jobs. Don’t even get me started on the new trend of drag queens corrupting our little children in libraries, this is straight out of hell.
You gave your students excellent advice HH, “walk around the cesspool”. I intend to share this with my grandson.

Kentucky Planned Parenthood to Resume Abortions Under New Democrat Governor

The Planned Parenthood in Louisville , Kentucky, will resume performing abortions in March — after being halted by the former Republican governor who was ousted in November.

Former Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, a Republican, had issued an order to halt abortions at the clinic in 2016. He was unseated by Democrat Andy Beshear, and the clinic has now been given a provisional license from state officials.

The Louisville Planned Parenthood is now one of only two abortion clinics in the state.

“Kentucky has gone from one abortion provider to two, which is a significant win for reproductive health care in the state,” Chris Charbonneau, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, said in a statement announcing the provisional license. “All people in Kentucky deserve to make their own pregnancy decisions and to have access to safe and legal abortion.”

Charbonneau added that “in January, CHFS rescinded the denial of PPINK’s license application, and the case brought against PPINK regarding the license was dismissed. The lawsuit filed under the previous administration was a blatant attack against reproductive rights and made no attempt to follow proper protocols and procedures.”

In August of last year, Cabinet for Health and Family Services Secretary Adam Meier said that the clinic never had a license to be performing abortions.

The governor before Bevin, Democrat Steve Beshear, had told the clinic that in order to get a license they would need to be operating and inspected. Though the clinic began performing abortions, they were never inspected — and therefore never licensed.

When Bevin took office, he ordered the state inspector general to shut down the practice. Planned Parenthood had been battling the state in court ever since.

Only 23 abortions were performed at the clinic from the time that they were given the greenlight by Beshear and shut down by Bevin.

The only other abortion provider in the state is EMW Women’s Surgical Center, which is also in Louisville.

Three of Four Abducted Nigerian Seminarians Have Been Released
Kidnappings of Christians in Nigeria have multiplied in recent months, a situation that has prompted Church leaders to express serious concern about the security of their members.
    Catholic News Agency
KADUNA, Nigeria — Three of the seminarians kidnapped earlier this month in northwestern Nigeria have been released safely by their captors, an official at Good Shepherd Seminary announced Friday.

One of the seminarians who was abducted Jan. 8 remains at large.

Fr. Joel Usman, registrar of the seminary in Kaduna, made the announcement Jan. 31.

One of the three men who were released had been freed Jan. 18. He was dumped on the side of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria Express Way. He was taken to hospital after being found by passing motorists, and was being treated in an intensive care unit.

Pius Kanwai, 19; Peter Umenukor, 23; Stephen Amos, 23; and Michael Nnadi, 18, were taken from Good Shepherd Seminary in Kaduna, around 10:30 pm on Jan. 8 by gunmen.

The gunmen, disguised in military camouflage, broke through the fence surrounding the seminarians' living quarters and began shooting sporadically. They stole laptops and phones before kidnapping the four young men.

Each of the abductees were first year philosophers, sources told ACI Africa.

Nearly 270 seminarians live at Good Shepherd.

Good Shepherd Seminary is located just off the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria Express Way. According to AFP, the area is “notorious for criminal gangs kidnapping travelers for ransom.”

The news agency said that schoolgirls and staff from a boarding school also located near the highway were kidnapped in October, and were later released.

“The security situation in Nigeria is appalling”, Thomas Heine-Geldern, executive president of ACN International, said Jan. 13. “Criminal gangs are further exploiting the chaotic situation and making matters still worse.”

He compared the situation in Nigeria to that of Iraq prior to the Islamic State's invasion: “Already at that stage, Christians were being abducted, robbed and murdered because there was no protection by the state. This must not be allowed to happen to the Christians of Nigeria. The government must act now, before it is too late.”

Kidnappings of Christians in Nigeria have multiplied in recent months, a situation that has prompted Church leaders to express serious concern about the security of their members and to call on the government to prioritize the security of its citizens.

  6. Church of England apologizes for saying sex only for heterosexual married couples
'We are very sorry and recognise the division and hurt this has caused.'

CANTERBURY, England, January 31, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― The leaders of the Church of England have apologized for saying that sex is only for heterosexual married couples.

In a statement released yesterday, the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Justin Welby, and the Anglican Archbishop of York, Dr. John Sentamu, stated:

We as Archbishops, alongside the bishops of the Church of England, apologise and take responsibility for releasing a statement last week which we acknowledge has jeopardised trust. We are very sorry and recognise the division and hurt this has caused.

At our meeting of the College of Bishops of the Church of England this week we continued our commitment to the Living in Love and Faith project which is about questions of human identity, sexuality and marriage. This process is intended to help us all to build bridges that will enable the difficult conversations that are necessary as, together, we discern the way forward for the Church of England.

Last week the Mother Church of the Anglican Communion surprised the world by issuing a pastoral statement that professed faith in the traditional, Scripture-based, Christian definition of marriage.

The Church of England stated that the legal recognition of same-sex “marriage” in 2013 meant “for the first time … that a substantive gap emerged between the Church’s understanding of marriage and that of the State.”

“It has always been the position of the Church of England that marriage is a creation ordinance, a gift of God in creation and a means of his grace,” it explained.

“Marriage, defined as a faithful, committed, permanent and legally sanctioned relationship between a man and a woman making a public commitment to each other, is central to the stability and health of human society,” it continued.

“We believe that it continues to provide the best context for the raising of children, although it is not the only context that can be of benefit to children, especially where the alternative may be long periods in institutional care.”

The Church of England then referred to its own Book of Common Prayer to explain why it teaches that “sexual intercourse...properly belongs within marriage exclusively.”

“The Church of England’s teaching is classically summarised in The Book of Common Prayer, where the marriage service lists the causes for which marriage was ordained, namely: ‘for the procreation of children, ...for a remedy against sin [and].... for the mutual society, help, and comfort that the one ought to have of the other,’” it proclaimed.

“In the light of this understanding the Church of England teaches that ‘sexual intercourse, as an expression of faithful intimacy, properly belongs within marriage exclusively’ ... . Sexual relationships outside heterosexual marriage are regarded as falling short of God’s purposes for human beings.”

After the document was issued, the bishops found themselves assailed in the press by LGBT activists, the National Secular Society, and dissenting Anglicans.

“I am a lifelong member of the Anglican communion,” said a Dundee-based contributor to the UK’s left-wing Guardian.

“My current situation in life is that I am happily married – have been for over 30 years – to a woman who is also a lifelong member of the Anglican communion,” he continued.

“However, in 2014 I transitioned, and changed from my birth gender, as a man, to my present gender, as a woman. Just for clarity, then, I would be interested to know whether the Church of England’s latest teaching [sic] says that my marital relationship with my wife is problematic because we are both women? Or whether it says that I am ‘not really a woman’, and so my marital relationship at any rate is quite unproblematic?”

Having offended those who do not believe the perennial Christian doctrine that sexual intercourse “properly belongs” exclusively to heterosexual marriage, the Church of England has now offended its members who do with its apology.

Andrea Williams, a lay General Synod member in the Church of England, stated in a press release that she was surprised by the apology and found it “astonishing.”

“An apology should only be made when you have done something wrong,” she wrote.

Williams, who is also the executive director of Christian Concern, an Evangelical advocacy group, stated that the bishops are in the “ridiculous position” of appearing to be “sorry for the offence caused by proclaiming the doctrine of marriage.”

“Marriage is a beautiful gift of God for the benefit of society and for the raising of families,” she continued.

“It is the bishops’ job to discipline clergy who deliberately and openly promote and practise sex outside marriage. To instead apologise for jeopardising trust and the ‘hurt’ this caused is to fail to give broken people the liberating hope they need – found only in Jesus and his truth.”

Williams added that marriage is not “something to be apologised for” but to “be celebrated and upheld by our Bishops.”

“It is tragic that the Archbishops are apologising for clearly stating the doctrine of marriage. They should be clear and unashamed about what marriage is and how it is the best foundation for a vibrant and flourishing society,” she continued.

“Marriage is good for men, women and children and exactly what the House of Bishops should be championing.”

Cardinal John Fisher, the Bishop of Rochester, was beheaded in 1535 for his unapologetic faith in the sanctity of marriage.

BREAKING: Healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez collapses, dies

MANILA, Philippines — Controversial healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez collapsed and died while playing tennis at the Ayala Alabang Clubhouse earlier Tuesday, three days short of his 53rd birthday.

His spokesperson Deedee Siytangco confirmed the priest’s demise in a phone interview shortly after stepping out of Asian Hospital around 4 p.m. She said the cause of his death is not yet known.

Suarez, a known tennis enthusiast, has been holding annual tennis tournaments for priests at the Ayala Alabang Clubhouse for the past several years.

Siytangco said she witnessed Suarez win two sets of tennis singles against two priests earlier Tuesday.

“Today is the first day of the tournament. He played two sets that he both won. In the first two games, he looked okay. On his third set, he just collapsed. (Witnesses) said he was sluggish but still went on and he collapsed,” Siytangco told Inquirer during the phone interview.

“He’s still in the morgue so we don’t know the cause of death. But I think he was already dead when we arrived here (in the Hospital),” she added.

Suarez, known around the country for his healing ministry, was about to revive his healing ministry after being cleared of a sexual harassment charge in January.

  9. Face Of Jesus Which Allegedly Appeared On Eucharist In 2013 Sent To Rome

“Miracle” Host sent to Rome for scientific study

    January 13, 2020 Matters India

    By Matters India Reporter

Vilakkannur, Jan 13, 2020: A Catholic parish in Kerala has sent its “miracle” Host to Rome for further studies as part of a process to declare it as a Eucharistic miracle.

A face resembling that of Jesus had appeared on the host during Mass on November 15, 2013, at the Christ the King Church, Vilakkannur, a parish under the Syro-Malabar Archdiocese of Tellicherry.

Baby Joseph Payikatt, a former trustee of the parish, said the host was taken to the Syro-Malabar Church’s headquarters at Kakkanad, a suburb of Kochi, on January 10 and handed it over to Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Giambattista Diquattro the next day.

Kochi is some 330 km south of Vilakkannur.

The nuncio had come to St Thomas Mount in Kakkanad to attend the Syro-Malabar Church’s January 7-15 synod.

The host has been venerated as a miracle at the Vilakkannur parish since September 21, 2018, when the archdiocese returned it after five years. Earlier, it was kept at the archbishop’s residence.

“A four-member team led by our parish priest Father Mathew Vengakunnel carried the host to Kochi,” Payikatt told Matters India on January 13.

The parish organized special prayers and Mass on January 10 before seeing the parish team off to Kochi.

Payikatt said the parishioners are both sad and happy that the host was taken away from them. “We are sad that has gone from us, but at the same we are eagerly waiting to hear the good news,” he added.

The Vilakkannur parish has more than 500 families and 1,250 Catholics, most of them second and third generations of people who had migrated from Travancore last century.

Payikatt said hundreds of people used to come to pray in the parish in the past six years. He also claimed the phenomenon had brought considerable changes in the parishioners’ spiritual and social life.

The Tellicherry archdiocese had first taken the host away three days after the phenomenon occurred for observation and theological studies. As the host remained intact even after five years, the archdiocese brought it back to venerate it as a relic.

When the “miracle” occurred in 2013 thousands of people flocked to the Vilakkannur church, some 50 km east of Kannur town. The district administration had to intervene as the crowds blocked the road to Paithalmala, a major tourist place in northern Kerala.

The archdiocese took the Host away three days later saying it needed scientific study.

“Girideepam” (Light of the Mountain), the archdiocesan magazine, carried in its September 2018 issue a note from Archbishop George Njaralakatt of Tellicherry announcing the Church’s decision to return the Host.

“Giving the Sacred Host to the Vilakkannur church does not mean that it has been officially accepted as a Eucharistic miracle,” the archbishop clarified.

He had forbidden the parish to keep the host on the main altar or to use it for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. “It should be kept on specially arranged place on a side altar along with other relics in the church,” he decreed.

The archbishop had also asked the parish to record signs and supernatural happenings and to preserve them in a scientific way and make them available for inspection and study by the Church authorities.

The archdiocesan magazine said the host had undergone extensive studies by the Church’s theological commission that indicated the phenomenon could be considered a Eucharistic miracle.

  10. ‘Locust Invasion, January Rain Not Normal. Repent.’ – Pastor Ng’ang’a Urges

[IMG]Controversial city preacher James Ng’ang’a was in Kajiado last week to pray for the country and ask for God’s forgiveness following the locust invasion in parts of the country.

Speaking last Friday after spending five days praying for the country, the Neno Evangelism church leader urged Kenyans to repent.

“It is not normal that the country has been invaded by desert locusts and having rain in the month of January,” he said.

“I am here to repent our sins and ask God for forgiveness because something is wrong somewhere and also ask God for His visitation. God bless you all.”

“Nyenyekeeni and may God bless you wherever you are. Call the Lord and he will hear your prayers,” he added.

According to Ng’ang’a, the country needs to have real men of God.

“If we had real men of God, they would have told us what God wants us to do. We are men of God, but [we’re] not well embraced,” Nganga said.

“The people who have been embraced as men of God in this country are the wagangas and that is who even our politicians run to during elections.”

The preacher also disclosed that he is building a Jerusalem city-kind of church in Kajiado county. He said he wants to leave a positive legacy in Kenya by building a megachurch in Kajiado and Nairobi.

“I have started building another church in Kajiado, which will look like Jerusalem city,” he said.
