Wanted to see if anyone else is going to the March for Life in Washington?

From what I understand a person can be granted a plenary indulgence for going on the March for Life under the usual conditions

Plus the March for Life on January 19 will be televised on Ewtn
Our church will have Adoration during the day for prayerful support of the March/marchers

I have tried twice to download some articles about it and failed again:-(
However, if you look online in a quick search, you will find the conditions given for obtaining the plenary, plus the infirm can also obtain indulgence, but conditions have to be met.
Just look up Plenary indulgence for participation in March for Life.
Maybe some kind members of MOG can do this and post.
I am in a hurry now...have an appointment today and have much to do before I leave.
Amazing fact: the leader of our Pro-Life group at church has been to this March for 40 consecutive years!!!!! How awesome is that?!
I can't do anything for 40 consecutive minutes!

The March for Life will be televised on EWTN on January 19, live, and as news coverage later that day. I just learned that President Trump is going to speak via a news feed to those at the March.

I so wish I could go to the March but work responsibilities are keeping me at home. Instead, I plan to hold a pro-life sign at my small town's Women's March (ugh) on Saturday. I'm sure I will be the only pro-life voice there but I feel like I should offer another opinion to the children who will be there with their parents. Any advice on what my sign should say? It's too late in the game to buy a pre-printed sign so I will be making one of my own.

Well, I have seen signs that say, He's a child, not a choice,
or Respect Life from Conception until Natural Death
or, Honk if you love children

that sign gets a lot of honks when we are on the sidewalk in front of the abortion clinic

Brave girl! Good for you. I always thought a sign that might hit them where they live is “yes it’s legal—but is it safe?” And then a web address that might give info on the carnage to women through this horrible crime. But for children maybe something else. “We were all babies once. If you are reading this sign thank your mother for letting you live to read it!”

Sorry not too good. Just thinking out loud. If only there was a sign that would stop them in their tracks.

Thank you, AED and HH. I definitely want a sign that will stop them in their tracks without being rancorous. As much as I disdain their position, I don't want to present myself as their stereotype of an "anti-choice nut." I've found some good ideas on pinterest and will go from there. Will report back in after it's over! Please keep me in your prayers that I will have the Holy Spirit with me during this endeavor.

I watched it on EWTN. Looked fantastic, especially the enthusiasm of all those young people. Hope you enjoyed every minute.

You're a brave lady. Hope you survived to give us that report.

I did survive! Thank you all for your prayers. It was pretty interesting. I stood there for two hours holding this sign up (I made it double-sided to pack some punch) and it definitely made an impact. I saw many people reading it; one woman took a photo (I think she was from the local newspaper) and I got one honk from a passing car. One person called me an idiot; another said that if abortion was illegal, women would still have them and die as a result (to which I said people die in every abortion -- the babies); one woman asked what I do to help women and babies after they are born and she started talking about how many women and children need support.(I said I absolutely agreed and thought funding should be diverted from Planned Parenthood for this purpose.) I think I encountered most of the pro-abortion arguments. There was actually a man from Dublin (imagine that, Padraig!) who came up to me and asked if I wanted to make abortion illegal and I said yes. He went on to say he works for Planned Parenthood so you can imagine where his values are. We were, unfortunately, interrupted so I didn't get to learn more about him. On the other hand, several people came up and said they respected me for being there even if they disagreed. One woman said she was pro-life (even though she was anti-Trump -- I didn't expound on my views there). Overall, I really felt the Holy Spirit with me. I was not at all intimidated and feel I was able to articulate my position without hostility.

Ive got to upload some pics from the March or just 1 at least. I got to see David Daledin speak at a pro life conference and The Donald. I felt the holy spirit very strong when Donald Trump spoke. The tears were flowing.
