How will things pan out in 2018? We have been wrong before and will be wrong again but sometime soon we are going to get it right with our predictions lol. For me 2018-2021 will see conditions worsen further in civil society and within the Church. From 2021 the ten secrets of Medjugorje will begin to be revealed -- 1981-2021 forty years - significant biblical number in my opinion -- I know Medjugorje is controversial with many here but when the secrets are publicly announced and they happen then this will be direct proof from heaven. So from 2018-2021 I don't expect a direct intervention from heaven nor do I expect anything significantly different to how we are living today maybe a wee bit more persecution and definitely more confusion within the church.
One of the Medjugorje visionaries (Vicky) has penned a book on the life story of our Lady - this book will be released before the secrets. I suspect the release of this book will be a sign that were are nearing the time of the secrets -- so perhaps 2018/2019 the book will be released.
The announcement of ten secrets has biblical precedence. I am amazed that the Good Lord has allowed the Holy Father and his confreres in crime to continue as they have up to now. I will be totally, totally amazed if the Good Lord does not call them home to face the Judgement Seat before the end of the coming year. You can run but you can't hide. I don't think I heard even the Holy Name mentioned either. These things being spoken about 2021 remind me of Turkey's president's plan for 2023. Something to certainly consider in all this is that a great deal of these plans entail Islamic education in every school in Turkey which has already begun. Along with many large infrastructure and military goals. I predict that although things may appear rosy in some respects that we will have much to suffer in the coming year.

Here are my real predictions for this year: This Spring the Formal Correction is delivered by Cardinal Burke and Cardinal Brandmuller. If it is ignored then months later it will be publicly published. A second correction will then be issued in the Fall following the protocols set down by the great thinkers of Church history for how this nightmare situation has to be handled. If it is also ignored then the Dubia Cardinals wait until after Advent 2018 to make their next (and possibly final) move. That's it! I know it's not the exciting thing to say, but I think the above scenario is as far as we get this year. I think if things are not rectified through the Formal Correction then 2019 will be the "year of the crisis" when the Dubia Cardinals make the final big move. This will most likely bring the crisis in the Church to a head. The wheels of God's Justice grind exceedingly slow. He does not want to Chastise us. I don't think things will play out as quickly as many others here seem to think. I think this is going to be a long haul of 10-20 years of increasing persecution and horrors ahead. Of course a giant asteroid could wipe me out tomorrow too
Can you tell me the source of where you got this information that Vicka’s book on Our Blessed Mother would be released before the secrets. I’ve tried to find info on this online without success, what I have found is differing opinions whereby some believe the book will be published before and others after the secrets commence, but no concrete evidence that Vicks has said anything about this herself.
As mentioned earlier this is my opinion. I cannot see the logic of releasing the book after the secrets begin since the world will be in turmoil. Makes more sense for the book to be published and ready to go to prepare for the secrets.

You need to read my quote in context of my post at the beginning. All of my writing on this thread is my opinion. And I stress again speculative. Sorry for any confusion.
This is also a precursor to the 3 days of darkness that Our Lord experienced in the Tomb. There is a theory of end times that speculates that the Church will suffer what Christ suffered, mimicking the Passion, including the 3 Days.
I just started reading through the following link a little bit which contains some of Saint Paisios' prophecies. He appears to have stated that Israel will be destroyed 70 years after it's conception. Well, we know that Israel just celebrated it's 70th birthday. I realize that this idea will probably not be well received but I really think that this is what scripture is stating. I believe that the first abomination of desolation will be the destruction of Jerusalem during the Ezekiel 38/39 immediately before the Warning. The second abomination of desolation will be the removal of the sacrifice of the mass near the end which the Antichrist will be responsible for. Maybe the following scripture means that after Israel is a nation for seventy years the destruction of Jerusalem will soon follow which means this could happen very soon and agrees with what Saint Paisios has stated. Daniel 9:2 (DRA) The first year of his reign, I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, concerning which the word of the Lord came to Jeremias the prophet, that seventy years should be accomplished of the desolation of Jerusalem. I think that Daniel speaks of both abominations of desolation, the destruction of Jerusalem and the removal of the sacrifice of the mass. The following discusses the latter of the two and provides a good comparison to the above scriptures which make no reference to the removal of the sacrifice, Daniel 12:11 (DRA) And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days, Saint Paisios also made some predictions about Turkey in relation to the Euphrates River.
