This has come to mind but not much heard, discussed about it. The priests will be inundated. Yes, besides the confessions, all the questions about the Faith. Prayers for the priests.

Last evening, I didn't watch but heard "Spotlight" won the Oscar for best picture. It depressed me, if only the world knew the treasure that a priest is.

I think God did give us our current political situation to save us but not in the way they think more in the way of Nebacanezer sacking Israel and placing them into slavery once again. We reap what we sow. This nation has turned away from God so the people of His country have been placed into slavery to learn our errors and it is only going to get worse. I still think the day is coming when this country will be asked to bow down to their leader. Who will do this and who wil be brave and stand with God and be thrown into the furnace?

I don't think God "gave us" or imposed a penalty on the US. Rather, like ancient Israel, we rejected Him, and God accepted our rejection as an act of our collective free will. As we rejected Him, we lost His protection and the blessings He provided to this nation. Just as we individually are called to repentance and must serve penance, I believe our nation must also do the same. And like most, it's only when you hit the absolute rock bottom, that the process of conversion and repentance can take place. Unfortunately, I don't think this country has hit that rock bottom point.

I have not heard this before. But years ago, before all the talk about the Illumination of Conscience, a holy friend had a dream that something had happened, and people were coming for Confession in droves. She saw two priests talking together and one said, "Should we go get the sick priests in the infirmary, so we can open up more lines?"

My hope is to run a comfort brigade, delivering water, juice and snacks to the exhausted priests in the confessionals. The Cure of Ars might have died in the confessional if someone hadn't thrown in a cold potato every once in a while!

I will join you too Kathy and also stand with the people in the line encouraging them not to be discouraged and not to leave the long lines. People are so discouraged about going to confession. I talk of it often and hardly any of my friends or the people I talk to ever want to go to the confessional. They always say they don't need it or don't have any sins to confess. I always laugh when they say that and say something along the lines of, "I could go every day just for pride alone." Hopefully that is stirring something in their hearts. God may need to send some deceased priests to the confessionals to help and also have many more bilocations happening. All things are possible with God.

I have never heard of priests dying in confessionals, but have heard of the lines being extremely long and roped around like waiting for a ride at disneyworld. Maybe I will help those in line with moral support and advice on what happens when inside the confession booth. Most I don't think will have made a confession in decades.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Your plan is a great one. If you only knew the things that entered my mind.

Having a porti potti somewhere to get to the confessional for the poor priest if he is stuck in there.
Some food and drink to keep him going. Pro plus to keep him awake. Warm clothes. Tiredness makes you cold.

Plenty of paper and pens. I would suggest to people waiting to write out their sins while waiting, and make sure to mention the mortal sins when they get inside. Tell the Priest you have noted the venial sins, and he would ask if inspired. While waiting, they could silently talk to Jesus in the Eucharist about the best way to confess without spending too long in the Confessional. If there were thousands waiting in queue.

I would suggest non Catholic Christians stay one side of the Church and someone assist them in a prayerful way to note down all the sins they can recall. The Illumination of conscience will have done the reminding.

The Priest would advise on how to assist the non Catholic Christians and atheists or Jews or Muslims.

I have thought about this a lot. God preserve us all. Everybody would be too humbled by he Illumination to push of shove or put up a fight to get to the front of the queue.....

I have often wondered if it would be wrong to ask our Parish Priest if he has a contingency plan. It would be interesting.

A wonderful Polish priest, Fr. Adam Skwarczynski has suggested that we all do a lifetime confession. Take some time and go deeply into your past and confess sins that you may have forgotten, were confessed but still disturb you, or just a thorough examination of conscience that you write your responses to.

This is especially important in this Jubilee Year of Mercy...the Feast of Divine Mercy is approaching. What a huge gift St. Faustina and Jesus have given us.

I suggest asking the priest for his permission first as this usually requires more time in the confessional. I felt like I had just been baptized again! I had done this ten years ago or so and I forgot how liberating and joyful I felt.

Father Adam has several books and a video concerning the near future. He has had an extraordinary mystical life and if anyone is inclined, here is a link to his video:

    Charlie Johnston',s latest post.

The first paragraph of his post.

Though I don’t moderate the comments here anymore, I do read through them every few days to see what themes are on people’s minds. Of late I see many wonder whether I still say that the Rescue will come before the end of the year. The Rescue is what I call the revelation of Our Lady to the whole world in which all will know that Jesus is God, Lord of all; that she is His Mother; that He honors her; and that He expects us all to do the same. In a word, yes, I do

i know Charlie is not a prophet, as he was off on some things last year. That is fine, he doesnt need to be. Listen to his writings, read that whole post and you will know he is a good man with great intentions of leading people to Christ.

Patty, Thank you for posting this. IMHO what he states can't happen until the Warning and the Miracle prophesized by Our Lady of Garabandal but I agree with what Dean posted although I think he could still be a prophet and as Charlie states on his blog he makes mistakes some times. Maybe the year which Charlie was told about is a Jewish year or maybe something miraculous will happen before January 1st in which what he has stated in your post will occur. I give a lot of credit though, he keeps putting himself on the line.

Patty, I read the entire post by Charlie. It was very good. I think what happens to us when Our Lord or Blessed Mother tell us something is that WE decide what They are meaning. I learned years ago not to try to figure things out, but just let them be. I think Charlie tried to figure them out which was his mistake. Perhaps he should have just given the message and left out his own opinion.

Lynne did you get to read the message from Robert to you I wrote in my "chat"to you?

  16. I don't believe that Charlie believes in the Warning as expressed by Sr. Faustina and others. He has said that, again, St. Faustina was just another one (mystic) who just didn't quite understand exactly what she was shown (of course that sort of dismisses a whole lot of stuff re: all the other descriptions of this great incident of the greatest act of Mercy ever given and a one time cut off of Mercy for Justice! And to me which has to be the REAL rescue of all of mankind in deep trouble). I know that Charlie had rather "corrected" those commenters who had brought up that prophecy of Faustina....they too just didn't get it,...at least to the Charlie inspiration. I never quite understood just what he did mean....seemed rather vague which could just about cover anything that happened within his time period that in itself keeps seeming to either be extended itself or what was contained within those original time limitations also seems to get new definitions.

Patty, Yes I did - just haven't had time to reply. Robert is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable on Luisa's writings. He was at the meeting with people from EWTN with us and Fr. Bucci regarding the writings of the Book of Heaven and all ended on a positive note. It was nice that he remembered you after so many years. Keep in touch with him as I am sure he would love hearing from you often. Bless you.

Charlie probably is a good man with great intentions of leading people to Christ.
The problem is he is not hearing messages from him.
That can mean only two things.
He is a madman or is receiving messages from the devil.
And since this is satans time,CJ will probably get something right.
Satan is calling the shots at this time, so it will not surprise me if something big unfolds before the end of the year.
I notice Our Lady of Guadalupes feast day is on the 12th of this month.
If something goes down this day it will certainly not be our rescue.

Say someone says they have heard something, a message directly from God an event that is to happen at a certain time. We wait in expectation and it does not happen. The person says he made a mistake. H misheard.

Again the person promises if the events does not happen he will retire and speak no more.

H does, but after a short period of time he reemerges and start speaking of messages and giving Prophesy again . Once again he gives a specific time frame of expected great events.

What has Scripture to say on? What are we to understand?

    2 Peter 1:20–21:

“No prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

    Deuteronomy 18:22

22 owhen a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; nthe prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

    Ezekiel 13:6

6 dThey have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ ewhen the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word.

..and as far as promising to retire from prophecy and going back into full time operation at it again is concerned:

    Matthew 5:37

37Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.
