I have never believed in the Medjugore alleged visions/apparitions. That the Roman Catholic Church has failed to make a proper determination on the matter after such an extremely long period simply reflects on the current level of poor administration within that church.
Very Dear Anthony ! You are Free to believe or not to believe in Medjugorje. I love you anyway ! But I do believe in Medjugorje and WITH ALL MY SOUL because it brought me back to JESUS and MARY ! My heart was put upside down ! Almost all those people who have never been in Medjugorje, do not believe in Medjugorje.... THE WORLD IS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE AND MARY SHOULD NOT COME RIGHT NOW TO ENCOURAGE US IN THE HELL OF THESE DAYS ? Thank you for the kind sentiments. Only God knows the true spiritual condition of the world. We humans do not know it at all . Therefore complete trust in Gods guiding hand and in Gods plan for the Redemption of the human race should be the starting point in a Christians life. Our Lady wants Catholics to have trust and that is difficult if the threat of divine wrath and vengeance is bursting out of every corner of the room 24/7. I wish you well and hope that you will experience Gods truly gentle love as I have experienced it.

I have believed that the alleged apparitions on Medjugorje were real. I have been there 3 times. Nowadays I do not believe in the authenticy of those apparitions. I feel free now! Believing in Medjugorje was like obsession. Really.
Dear Maria Faustina, I have been there 6 times but the number is not important. What is important is this: do we follow Jesus in our daily life, as asked by Mary in the past and today ? I prefer to be obsessed by Mary and Jesus thanks to the Presence of Heaven in Medjugorje than being obsessed by the devil. Many persons obsessed by the devil become free in Medjugorje, in presence of the apparition or just by being in the Church of Medjugorje. Some do not even need anymore an exorcisme from a priest ! I saw and heard it several times when I was in Medjugorje. Perhaps your circonstances in life and the way you were surrounded in Medjugorje, by the pelgrim group or some persons in that group, made that you came to that decision. I do not know. Even faithful Christians can make us sometimes going nuts so that we do not know anymore what to believe. God has His way for you, via or without Medjugorje. The most important is: we have to live in Jesus through Mary and be in peace. There is no obligation to believe in Medjugorje. Follow your heart and get into Heaven, one day ! Anthony, Padraig is open minded about apparitions unless they are condemned by the Church, therefore it is prudent to be kind in expressing your dislike for any apparition. How hurtful is it to someone who finds their Faith in Medjugorje, only to have someone else on the internet make a judgement of discernment that may or may not be correct. Keep watch and pray. Of course we don't all share a firm belief in some apparitions. I feel it is best to avoid the threads with apparitions that I don't feel personally sure about. Medjugorje is not one of them. We are not bound to silence until and if Rome speaks. Obedience to Rome not Anthony on this one. Peace. Forgive so you may have peace in your heart.
I just do not understand why there are people against Medjugorje. There are sooo many good fruits. Did not Jesus tell us to look at the fruits in order to know if the tree is ok ? So simple to understand, but still we complicate everything. We have to be more simpleminded, like children: they know in their heart when they receive love and peace and when they do not. Elisa, you are wasting your time when someone has decided against Medjugorje. To be honest, I would be the same if I felt an apparition did not feel right. Doubters and detractors just need to avoid Medjugorje thread and topics. It is very rare to come across a post that is kind and courteous when disagreement is involved. And God knows we can all agree to differ on various topics, and still get along.
Hi Julia, I know, but I am not even "trying" to convince anyone in this thread who might be against Medjugorje. If I really had the intention to do that, then I would come with a lot of more arguments, but I have not the energy, nor the will to do that because it is not me who should convince. I leave that to God. God Himself touches the persons in Medjugorje, no other person is involved in that. Anyway, this thread was initially meant, I think, to spread the latest message of Medjugorje. Perhaps those who are against Medjugorje should open a new thread (if it does not exist already) entitled: "In favor or not of Medjugorje" or "discussion Medjugorje" or whatever they like to call it. Just a suggestion. But for me you are all free to come in this thread whatever you would like to express about Medjugorje (with permission of the person who started this thread of course) : it will not change my mind.There is only one negative side of me replying to this all, i.e. my delicious spagetti just burned.
Forgive me, but something about the phrase above and the image of the woman with flung-open arms does not sit well with me. It seems off. Is it true that if we "follow our hearts", we will get to Heaven? Really? Is this what Medjugorje is focused on? Following your heart, believing in what makes you feel good or happy, and therefore getting into Heaven?
Dear Gracia (I like your name), when I say "Follow your heart and get into Heaven one day" means: "Follow your conscience and behave in such way that you will get into heaven." The message of the image is as follows: the woman with flung-open arms just received the healing blessings and mercy of the Lord and she is so thankful that her arms lift up to Heaven to thank God the Father. She is filled with joy. What has Medjugorje to do with this ? Nothing, because the reaction of that woman can be any other Christian somewhere on this earth, in Medjugorje or somewhere else. I think that those who live in God will feel the same way, when the Warning of Garabandal will take place... When we follow our conscience (our heart) and not our head, because the Holy Spirit is present in the heart, and if we obey to the commandments of God, if we spread true love around us, pray with our heart, do what Mary asks us to do, we are likely to get into Heaven. No ? I know what is behind your remark: fear of modern spiritual thoughts that rejects the existence of sin and the need for confession, also in Church. Do not worry: I am not like that, in the contrary: I am a big figher against those thoughts, especially in Church, thanks to Medjugorje. This is also the reason that I have sometimes vivid discussions with some modern priests who act purely in Church to satisfy the people, not to satisfy Jesus and Mary. Those modern priests often do not believe in Medjugorje. "Mary is getting to much attention". "Adoration (as done so many hours per day in Medjugorje) is only for nuns". After my first visit to Medjugorje, I started to kneel down for the first time when going to the Holy Communion. Nobody else did this in the church in Belgium, I visited at that time. This was because of the spiritual strenght/conviction and the enormous respect for the Holy Communion I had received in Medjugorje. If Medjugorje is created by the devil, then he works tremendous well for God. I do think that we, the faithful, should not fall into discussion about which sanctuary is true or not.
