Our Lady said many would loose the Faith. Many are to more into the world. People say I am going to college and a good job and have a good family. I live life to at fullest, I'm not worried about death perhaps there is a God. But no hell. There is a hell! To many people are apart of the world. Do not they realize what trouble they are in? Many need to be aware of the reality of hell. Do penance make sacrifices. God is already to offended. Now look at our Lady of La Sallete
Sonsa, Don't let everything that is happening upset you too much. It is all a part of God's plan. He wills His Church to go through a Passion like His Son did. Yes it is sad and frustrating, but don't let it overcome you. At this point we cannot win this fight, only Our Lord and Our Lady can. It is not about us winning or losing any more, it is about how we conduct ourselves in the battle. As one of the priests on the Sensus Fidelium Youtube Channel put it: "We are in a Saint Maker". Where evil abounds, grace abounds more. God is raining down so much grace on the world right now that it is easier to become a saint than it has been in the past. He will not abandon us. This is a very privileged time to be alive. Christ has chosen us to walk beside His Church on it's Via Dolorosa. We get to be the St. Veronica's wiping the Blood from His Face and comforting Him. We get to stand at the foot of the Cross with His mother and not abandon Him when all seems lost. We know God triumph's in the end. We do not need to solve all of the Church's problems. We only need to fight for the Truths Christ taught, do the best you can to do what was asked of us, pray the Rosary, pray for the Pope, do the First Five Saturdays and First Nine Fridays, work out your personal salvation, and have trust in God.

Grace is abounding in epic proportions, from what I see. I also think massive revival is coming and God is preparing us for it. Our churches will be unable to hold all the people that will be running towards us. We just have to stand firm and keep praying it in !

Feeling a bit overwhelmed today . . .in Church this a.m. an alarm from our Priest and Bishop that church attendance diocesan wide and in our own parish has fallen 10%. They are asking us, the parishioners to evangelize and bring in new members. Then I read on the news about various Cardinals and Priests celebrating Gay pride month and that Catholics share the blame for the reformation etc. so I am torn, it feels like everything I have been taught is being destroyed. Our church is not a family, people are cold and unfriendly . . .you do not know the person next to you, it is a rush to get there and a rush to leave. It's perplexing . . .it feels like I am in the dark night of the faith.
Have faith Kat, God loves you as if you were the only soul He ever created. We cannot love this way, but God can. He is with you every step of the way. God lets us have dark periods so that we can show Him we want to follow Him, not because it is always pleasant and feels good, but because we love Him. This is a time of testing, but have faith. The Lord is invisibly walking next to you ready to catch you if you stumble. Like a parent helping a child to learn to walk on their own, sometimes He lets go. This can be scary, but it is necessary for us to grow. Footprints “One night I dreamed a dream. I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord. When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand. Katfalls, I received the same notice in our church bulletin from most Reverend John Doerfler, "Transforming Fire". His pastoral plan is to allow the Holy Spirit to form each and every one of us into a Spirit-filled evangelize.
Praetorian, I love what you wrote here. When I read your first line that "God loves you as if you were the only soul He ever created", it really affected me and made me feel so happy. Kitkalls, as Praetorian said, we are in a time of testing. Keep in mind that joejerk will use this time to plant discouragement in our hearts. We must resist this by means of recalling blessings, singing praise songs, trying to say thank you to people during the day, and asking Our Lady to cover us with her mantle of love. From Psalm 68: 1 Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, And let those who hate Him flee before Him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; We love you and you are in our prayers! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Oh boy do I hear you. I long for my family to return to the faith but in what church will they find it? The Church that says Satan doesn't exist and that it is OK to receive Holy Eucharist if your conscience tells you so? Or theChurch that lives in my heart and memory. The one where God is exalted and the truth is spoken in season and out of season. I am convinced we are in those Times--the time of times--and it is the stormy sea of Galilee and our ship is being tossed and flung from wave to wave but Jesus is still there --asleep but he is there and He will calm the seas. It is coming.
You are welcome Shae and thank you, you made my day I am glad I could inspire those feelings in you (or rather the Holy Spirit could). It is not just a happy thought either and it isn't my idea. It is a theological truth that I heard preached somewhere along the line. When I heard it it really floored me and I have remembered it ever since. God can see us that way. It is incomprehensible.
