As confusion, division and darkness seems to gather all about us, I believe that today's Verse offers peace and light.

HeartLight Daily Verse - 7 May

    1 Thessalonians 5:16-28

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

    Thoughts on today's verse:
Where does your heart live? That's what these verses are all about. Is there a constant awareness in your life that God is present? Is he the unseen but always present companion in all your ups and downs? Or is God here when it is convenient and gone when things are busy? Joy comes from knowing we are never alone. Prayer is the ongoing conversation we have, Spirit to Spirit, with God. Thanksgiving is the great reminder that we have been blessed no matter what the circumstances may suggest.

    Prayer:
Precious and Righteous Father, thank you for being there. Give me a deeper appreciation and a always more profound awareness of your presence today. May my life reflect the joy you have given me by saving me by grace. And may my heart always find its home in you. Through Jesus I pray. Amen.

The Lord has been known to work through some very strange characters. If God Rap can get His Message "Out-There", that is a Great Thing 'cause the Crackers that inhabit MOG Forum don't have a shred of credibility with the Rap Crowd ...... accept with our prayers. Let's Pray and see what wonders The Lord WILL perform!

Believe it or not the King Daddy of hip hop Tupac Shakur is listed on the Vatican web site as recommended music.

But they all seem to wind up murdered sooner or later, which is discouraging.

Elisa do not become low spirited. Nothing may happen in 2017. That date is only given any importance because of the 100 year period of time that is mentioned in several important prophecies. We actually have no way of knowing when the 100 year time period started. It may have started in 1917, but it also may very well have started in 1929 when Sister Lucy was told to have Russia consecrated. It also could have started at some other date as well. Maybe 1938 when the sky lit up before World War II. We could be waiting until 2029, 2038 or some other date. Personally I think the Church and the world have a lot farther to slide.

Be joyful though. God loves you and He has given us more time to try to save those that can be saved. Do not be concerned about the world. God will handle it. There is nothing man can do to remedy this. No Presidential election can fix all of this. Our Lady will come as God's herald and set it all right. Your part is just to pray and do what you can to make it to Heaven and help others to get there as well. Jesus is Merciful. Every day he postpones the Chastisement is a gift. Let us use the time wisely while we have it.

Somewhere in January or February of this year, I went into a slump, it got too hard to get off the ground. I was going on empty inside. I had been trying to be strong, but when I came to this point, I couldn't go on anymore. So, I placed my tattered faith in God's Hands, and gave Him my brokenness, saying, God, I need hope, please give me hope, I'm so sorry for asking this...

He answered me. He gave me just what I had asked for - hope. It came in an unexpected way, at an unexpected time. The situation I was upset over didn't resolve itself then, even now, troubles still remain. But when I needed it most, God put out His Hand and helped me up.

I know those grey days wouldn't be the last for me. But I also learned again that when we need it most, Help will come.

I think at the moment we are bit like Anna and Zechariah in the Temple waiting for a new coming of the Lord into the world. He will come we have His promise and that of His Mother . When it comes is up to Him, we know that it will happen.

That should be more than enough for us, even if we do not see it with physical eyes. We can see it with the eyes of Faith.

It's God's time table, not ours.

I 'liked' the post, then unliked it because it didn't seem appropriate. Of course, I meant it in the sense of thanking you for bringing this abomination to our attention.

One wonders how the surviving children in these situations will react when they become cognisant that that necklace around their mother's neck could just as easily have been them.

Perhaps they will respond by requesting their mother's embalmed head as a sentimental keepsake cum paperweight. Unlike their mother, they will probably have the decency to wait until she dies or at least let her get old before they euthanise her.

May the Lord God have mercy on us all.

I read a follow up article to the one that I posted that said that the company that made this jewelry had to shut down for a few days due to negative backlash. I hope that it makes this company reconsider their products, but I somehow doubt that they'll stop making them.

On a positive note, at least there are people in society who still recognize and vocalize about how disgustingly horrible the jewelry is. That gives me some hope.

I had thoughts similar to yours about where this all might lead. I kept thinking, "what's next? Abortion keepsake boxes?!" Ugh. It's all so sad.

There is a company that, for the past 15 years, has produced diamonds from your loved ones cremains, suitable for mounting in rings or necklaces.

Sounds like a 21st century version of those old tales of witch doctors wearing necklaces made of animal or human bones. Creepy.

Appalling, but I imagine it doesn't involve the prior murder of the loved one, which, coupled with the callous indifference to that reality on the part of all concerned, is the most extreme horror of the other situation.

It seems to me we've been trying to rebel against the whole "dust you are and to dust you shall return" for awhile. That babies in formaldehyde exhibit is also an example of this. Really creepy and sad :(
