  3. Franklin Graham: Donald Trump Won Election by the ‘Hand of God’

Celebrated evangelical Rev. Franklin Graham says that it was the “hand of God,” rather than Russian hackers, that determined the outcome of November’s presidential election.

“I think maybe God has allowed Donald Trump to win this election to protect this nation for the next few years by giving maybe an opportunity to have some good judges,” he said.

The son of renowned Baptist minister Billy Graham, the Rev. Franklin Graham has been invited by President-elect Trump to be one of six clergy to offer the invocation, benediction, and several readings at his swearing-in ceremony on January 20.

In an interview with Religion News Service Thursday, Graham said that beyond mere human factors, the mysterious hand of divine providence was at work in the elections.

“All I know is Donald Trump was supposed to lose the election” according to all the polls, Graham said.

“For these states to go the way they did, in my opinion, I think it was the hand of God,” he said. “It wasn’t hacking. It wasn’t Wiki-leaky or whatever. It was God, in my opinion, and I believe his hand was at work, and I think he’s given Christians an opportunity.”

Trump Fires All Obama Politically Appointed Ambassadors Effective Inauguration Day

    Kristinn Taylor Jan 5th, 2017 8:19 pm 315 Comments

President-elect Donald Trump has fired, effective Inauguration Day January 20, every U.S. ambassador politically appointed by President Barack Obama, according to a report published Thursday night by the New York Times.

The Times reports the State Department sent out a notice on December 23 informing the ambassadors of Trump’s order. The move sent shock waves through the diplomatic corps as some ambassadors in previous transitions had been given time to leave their post for personal convenience.

President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition staff has issued a blanket edict requiring politically appointed ambassadors to leave their overseas posts by Inauguration Day, according to several American diplomats familiar with the plan, breaking with decades of precedent by declining to provide even the briefest of grace periods.

The mandate — issued “without exceptions,” according to a terse State Department cable sent on Dec. 23, diplomats who saw it said — threatens to leave the United States without Senate-confirmed envoys for months in critical nations like Germany, Canada and Britain. In the past, administrations of both parties have often granted extensions on a case-by-case basis to allow a handful of ambassadors, particularly those with school-age children, to remain in place for weeks or months.

Mr. Trump, by contrast, has taken a hard line against leaving any of President Obama’s political appointees in place as he prepares to take office on Jan. 20 with a mission of dismantling many of his predecessor’s signature foreign and domestic policy achievements. “Political” ambassadors, many of them major donors who are nominated by virtue of close ties with the president, almost always leave at the end of his term; ambassadors who are career diplomats often remain in their posts.

A senior Trump transition official said there was no ill will in the move, describing it as a simple matter of ensuring that Mr. Obama’s overseas appointees leave the government on schedule, just as thousands of political aides at the White House and in federal agencies must do. The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity about internal deliberations, said the ambassadors should not be surprised about being held to a hard end date.”

    IT'S FINALLY OVER...

Congress Certifies Donald Trump’s Election Over Democrats’ Protests
“It is over,” Vice President Joe Biden told one Democrat objecting to Trump’s victory.
    By Gabrielle Levy | Political Reporter Jan. 6, 2017, at 3:28 p.m.

It was confirmed Friday that President-elect Donald Trump won the election with 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton's 227. (Mark Wilson/Getty Images)

Members of Congress officially certified the electoral votes to make Donald Trump the next president of the United States, but not before Democrats objected as tallies for Trump's electoral victories were read out.

Two senators and two House members took turns reading the electoral vote tallies from each state to Friday's joint session of Congress.

[READ: The 115th Congress by Party, Race, Gender and Religion]

Starting with the first – Alabama – Rep. Jim McGovern of Massachusetts rose to file an objection over the state's votes, claiming the state's electoral vote was marred by Russia's interference in the election and voter suppression tactics.

"The electoral votes were not, under all of the known circumstances, regularly given, and that the electors were not lawfully certified, especially given the confirmed and illegal activities engaged by the government of Russia designed to interfere with our election and the widespread violations of the Voting Rights Act that unlawfully suppressed thousands of votes in the State of Alabama," McGovern said over Republican boos.

Vice President Joe Biden shut down his objection, reminding McGovern that he was out of order and that debate is not allowed during a joint session.

Under congressional rules, an objection to a state's vote tally must be produced in writing, and signed by a member of the House and the Senate. If those requirements were met, the joint session would have been immediately adjourned and the House and Senate would have separately convened to vote on whether to sustain the objection.

But no senators agreed to participate, despite efforts from House Democrats to convince them, deciding the show of dissent was a waste of time.

"The objection cannot be entertained," Biden said, when McGovern told him the objection had a House member's signature but not one from a senator.

McGovern's protests were followed by similar demonstrations against the votes for Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Two brand new members of the House – Jamie Raskin of Maryland and Pramila Jayapal of Washington – joined in, challenging the votes from Florida and Georgia, respectively.

    WE CERTAINLY DODGED A BULLET!

Here’s What Hillary Clinton’s Cabinet Would Have Looked Like If She Had Won
    [IMG]
    Chuck Ross

Hillary Clinton had most of her cabinet and West Wing positions picked out by Election Day, several of her campaign hands have revealed.

Mike Allen, the former Politico reporter, published the “ghost cabinet” on Tuesday at Axios, a new media company he co-founded.

According to Allen’s sources, John Podesta, the Clinton campaign chairman whose hacked emails were published prior to the election, was set to receive a nomination to serve as secretary of state.

Podesta has served in two Democratic White Houses. He rose to chief of staff in Bill Clinton’s White House and was an advisor to President Obama.

The rest of the major cabinet positions were to be doled out as follows:

    • Attorney General — Current AG Loretta Lynch
    • Treasury Department — Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg
    • Labor Department — Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz
    • Defense Department — Michèle Flournoy, a former Defense Department official
    • Health and Human Services — Center for American Progress executive director Neera Tanden
The Environmental Protection Agency and/or the Department of Education were to go to an African-American candidate, Allen’s sources said.

Clinton’s core campaign staff was also set to receive plum West Wing positions.

Brian Fallon was to retain his role as press secretary, and Nick Merrill was to remain in the traveling press secretary position.
Huma Abedin, Clinton’s longtime aide and the wife of Anthony Weiner, was to serve as Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, a role similar to one she held at the State Department. Ron Klain, a former aide to Vice President Biden and President Obama’s “Ebola czar,” was to serve as chief of staff.

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook would have been a senior adviser, and Philippe Reines, a controversial former Clinton State Department aide, was to serve as counselor. Notably absent from the list is Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s State Department chief of staff and one of her lawyers during the email investigation.

Top legal jobs at the Clinton White House were to go to Karen Dunn and Heather Samuelson, who would serve as White House counsel and deputy counsel, respectively. Samuelson was the Clinton aide who sifted through the former secretary of state’s emails before they were given to the State Department in Dec. 2014.
Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s campaign communications director, would have had the first right of refusal on many jobs, according to Allen. She was to be given “whatever she wants” in terms of a West Wing gig.

Sara Latham, who served as John Podesta’s deputy and was involved in providing his password to the hackers who broke into his Gmail account, was to be given the role of deputy chief of staff for operations.

On the national security front, the coveted national security advisor position was to be given to Jake Sullivan. Sullivan worked as Clinton’s top policy man at the State Department. He was also responsible for sending much of the classified email traffic that was discovered on Clinton’s private email server.

Tom Donilon, another former State Department official, was to serve as CIA director or director of national intelligence, Allen reports.

The list also shows that the Clinton team wanted current Labor Secretary Tom Perez to serve as chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He is currently in the running for that role.

Sadly, Sanctus He is not going anywhere! Lord Obammy the Beneficent and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Democrats & Media have already set up a Shadow Government that can already be seen in full force at the Session's AG Hearing. People keep talking about a "Smooth Transition" ... What Smooth Transition!!?? ... Anything but!! As we have seen these past eight years, what we hear out of Obammy & Friends & Media is 180 degrees from what we see with our Lying Eyes .... and BoobLand USA is at The Mall ... where the violent FlashMobs are practicing for Inaugural Day! :( "These Days" an Inauguration on Friday is a very Bad Timing indeed. I'm guessing that the usual Soros funded suspects will be setting off "Fireworks" Thursday-Sunday next in every Democrat Party Urban "Paradise" you can name!! I'm fearful that in DC there may well be Trump supporters quite willing to counter the mobs with force. Likewise in urban areas if the mobs decide to invade producer class neighborhoods. It's gonna happen one day and it may be next week!?

I agree Crewdog, from what I have been observing here from across the sea, things do not seem to be transitioning smoothly at all, unfortunately. The liberal media in general- all across the western world- seem to be trying to frustrate and undermine the process following Donald Trump's election as much as they can .

CNN are reporting that a former British agent (MI6) says that his contacts told him that there were Russian efforts to compromise Trump and that the FBI have briefed Obama and Trump on this.. They (the FBI) are supposed to have said that the former British agent is someone they have worked with in the past and found reliable. They are checking the reliability of his sources. Although CNN are saying that they can't confirm the report, they are spinning it as the Russians already having compromising information about Trump.

According to Zerohedge, CNN have been played by, of all things, a 'fake news' report. Nevertheless, there is a risk of a CIA coup attempt, I feel.

I watched some of the hearings and Trump's press conference today. Loved seeing CNN being called out for the fake news outlet that they are. Corey Booker is clearly staking his claim to be the Democrats' nominee for the White House in 2020. Obama could be sticking around to support him unless he fancies being the First Man in four year's time. Booker whined on about history and past discrimination but didn't offer an iota of substance for trying to block Sessions' appointment. Same with the other two people speaking against Sessions. That's the kind of empty, divisive rhetoric that got Trump elected. People were sick of it.

I haven't been paying too much attention to the hacking controversy lately, but these latest allegations supposedly coming from a former MI6 seem to fit with another angle about the FBI investigation in the DNC hacking. Wasn't there a story that the FBI didn't actually examine the DNC computers or servers during their investigation - that they got their information from an expert employed by the DNC to look into the hacking? Perhaps the expert hired by the DNC is the former MI6 agent?

It's quite obvious that there is still a rump of the Republican establishment that won't accept Trump. They could be working towards an impeachment shortly after the inauguration, resulting in a Pence presidency. I like Pence better than Trump but I'm not sure he has what it takes to push through changes. Love him or loathe him, Trump has the powerful personality needed to get results.

Trump's merit may be measured in proportion to the unprecedented efforts to discredit him. The CIA/Clintons are increasingly filling the role of the 'swamp' that Trump repeatedly threatened to drain. They apparently take him as being as good as his word. What appears at stake are the crimes of the CIA and Clinton in particular, and the Obama administration to a lesser extent, in Libya and Syria. I still remember that article last year in The London Review of Books claiming that the Joint Chiefs of Staff were putting a brake on the covert supply with US weapons by the CIA of ISIS. Combined with Saudi money pouring into the Clinton slush fund over the years, the swamp seems more like a septic tank. My fear would be that so much is riding on this that they will stop at nothing. As the latest smear campaign seems to be blowing up in the CIA/War Party faces and degenerating completely into farce, Trump needs to watch his back.

[The source of this pathetic document has been identified as an Englishman named Steele (an 'Avenger'?), who has now seemingly gone to ground].

The most disturbing thing that came out of Trump's press conference today is the fact that the CIA is now actively working against Trump and leaking classified reports to the Media even before Trump sees them:

Ronald Reagan prosecuted no wars unless you include Grenada. However, under his watch the USA was respected and feared. Unquestionably, his soft speaking and big stick directly triggered the collapse of the Soviet Empire.

The War Party, represented by and personified by George Bush Snr. found themselves 'at the end of History', devoid of an enemy. The logical result would have been a reduction in the size of the military. However, it didn't take long for Bush to find a new enemy. Of all the world leaders at the time, I can only recall Saint John Paul II objecting to the first shock and awe in Iraq. Kuwait, this great bastion of freedom and democracy, had to be rescued at all costs from invasion by a Saddam who had been lauded to the rafters a few years previously for his resistance to Iran. Remember what the US did when Hungary was invaded and the Prague Spring quashed-left to sway in the wind? Since then, the Clintons oversaw the scandalous intervention in Bosnia, helping their ally Bin Laden and under cover of the most complete and perfect example of fake news ever deployed. All this has been followed, in the baby Bush and Obama administrations, by an increasingly destructive Orwellian 'War is Peace' campaign which has seen the obliteration of whatever civilisation existed in the Middle East and Libya.

However, there is a problem. The postulated F-35 and other multi-trillion dollar developments are useless against Jihadists in Hiluxes. So a more sophisticated enemy is required, to justify the military spending desired. The War Party doesn't actually want WWIII. That would be mutually assured destruction. They want a new Cold War. But this, apart from the immorality of the artifice, is extremely risky in what is a much more unstable world, nor is there any longer a delicate balance between the USA and USSR of old. The US and its allies are far too powerful compared to modern-day Russia and the latter may be forced to move closer to China.

If Trump's wish is to end this cycle of perpetual war and destruction, one can see where the resistance might be coming from. Cui bono?

I am just digusted by the way they continue to accuse and judge "gratuitement" Trump. He is totally right to react the way he does. He makes me think in some way of Saint Baptist, telling the hard truth. Thanks to Trump we now see who are our real ennemies because before it was all covered up with their snaky diplomatic nice words. We now know who will follow the bad spirit of this world and they are many.... many.... what a shame..... blinded they are, as told in the Scriptures: many will follow the Evil one, the Evil spirit. The only reason why they are all so against Trump is because he is against many things that are in fact SINS. He says the truth in an unvarnished manner and who else than the Devil himself hates this and pushes the blinded mass against him. But Trump is exactly what we NEED NOW because there are too many lies. Good is considered as Wrong, Wrong is considered as Good. Trump as human being who is yelling against the world that is sleeping and then together with the Warning : this might be the Chance offered by GOD to the world to CHANGE. Yes Obama, WE CAN change by starting to live in the Truth of God.
Trump cannot find good singers during the inauguration ? That he finds them amongst the Christians. There are plenty of them who would be willing to do that and send spiritual messages to the mass ending with big ALLELUIA'S !
BIG CHANCE IS COMING OBAMA ! YOUR CREATOR IS COMING !
