Pope Francis and the Church

Sme people on the forum may be wondering why I closed the forum discussion on the very grave situation on the Church/Pope Francis until Christmas. Well the simple answer is I felt called by Our Lady in prayer to do so and since it is her forum I do as I am told.

But why might Our Lady request such a thing? Well you guess, I suppose is as good as mine. But you know I saw quite clearly from the begining that the Mothe rof God had her own agenda in wanting this home of Mary started.

To convert those who are far from God.

To strengthen those who walk in the path to Eternal Light.

To guide in the ways of prayer and holiness.

To underline the importance of Catholic Prohecy and to point a way to understanding the Signs of the Times.

To reveal the Miraculous in the incredible working of the Holy SPirit in these momentous days.

But more than this , the End Plan of Mary is that thislittle home of Mary be an Ark for the furture times when God will Reveal Himself Directly in Miraculous Fashion as He once did tto the Hbrews in Egypt and in the Desert as He led them and us to the promised Land.

In order to achieve Mary.s wishes in this matter I will police strictly her wish that Church matters ,as we head towards a historic Schism in God's Holy Church be dropped until Christmas tide.

I ask that we all respect this. Following the wishes of Our Mother I will do all that I can to achieve this prayerful silence in this matter. No matter how bad things turn in the next few weeks we will sit in prayer here at the feet of Mary as she wishes.

Mary, help of Christians, pray for us.

But having written this I believe as Catholics we do have a solemn duty to stay fully in touch with what is happening in the Church with what is going on in our Spiritual Home. To do this we will I supect mostly use the internet as our medium.

Here are a few pointers which I hope may help. Remeber when you are reading non Catholic sources that they are not Catholics commenting on Catholic matters. This may appear obvious but I think we may forget this. The Spirit of the World is intensely hostile to the Church. Always have , always will be. For those who do not choose God, actively choose Satan. Especially at this time. So if you see these media and Governments and politicians support a particular position in the Church be afraid, be very afraid and wary of such viewpoints. These people are God's enemies.

Never loose your temper. Never loose you interior peace. Stay prayerful even when the sotrm seems fiercest.

I twil lbe at the very moment in the Church and in the world that all seems most lost that God will intervene to save us all. The Immaculate Heart of Mary will Triumph, we have her Promise.

Stay Faithful to the Traditional Teaching of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. To the the Teachings of the Fathers. Reject all that is innovative that seeks to change that which God intends to remain Eternal. Stay Faithful. Stay vigilant. Reject with all your heart the lies and deciets and prompting of he who was a Liar from the Begining, The Proud One and Breaker of the Peace of Men, Lucifer.

Our Lord once told me, "As the veil in the Temple was rent in two, so will My Church be!" Especially in these days, we are seeing this split more and more, but we know who wins in the end. I believe Our Lord is weeding His Garden and separating the wheat from the chaff. Therefore, we must pray more and fast - remember our First Fridays and First Saturdays, and bring Light to the darkness in the world and in the Church. Especially pray for our Holy Father, Priests and those who are in error to return to the Light of the true faith.

 

Just as God led the Hebrews from the Flesh Pots of Egypt tp the Promised Land, with Great Signs and Wonders through the Desert to the Promised Land with Moses to lead them.

So too the Mother of God, Queen of Prophets is leading us through the Desert of this Great Storm that is upon us with Great Signs and Wonders to the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart which is the Triumph of the Church.

Just as God slayed the Egyptains He is about to saly the Godless in their sins. So too wil lperish our own false Henbrews who refuse to accept the Ten Commandments of the Law.

I have just returned from mass on this feast of Christ the King. I think of Holy Thursday on this day and see that feast as the first day on which The Kingship of Jesus was acknowledged by his chosen people. There was a certain sombreness as the First and the Last of the Doors of Mercy were closed.

During his passion and crucifuxion Jesus' kingship was acknowledged by Pilate's writing on the cross "The King of the Jews," and clarified by Jesus Himself "My kingdom is not of this world." And by the good thief : "Jesus remember me when you come into Your kingdom." Mercy to the very end.

There is another merchant of mercy who is walking his own long Good Thursday here on earth and is currently the subject of much adulation. Like Jesus, he is not fooled. Like Jesus he will soon be brought down by the cheif priests and hung out to dry.

But God will raise him up again when the time is right and preserve His Church according to His Word. By then many will have fallen away but many more will have returned through the event that is for the conversion of the world.

How long they will stay converted is not for us to know and a terrible punishment may yet follow. But those who stay in the Barque are assured of Salvation if they keep God's word.

We know there is no hope outside the Church where there will be only weeping and gnashing of teeth in the darkness. May God preserve us in faith and truth and in His love and mercy deliver us from evil. May His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We are going to need loads of courage in the months ahead, loads of conviction and loads of compassion. We will need to stay awake and learn to adapt. It won't be easy but it will be doable.

And when the Doors are reopened it will be the doors of a Church renewed and restored by the working of The Holy Spirit in our very souls. And in this working of the uncreated Immaculata we will envisage the Triumph of the created Immaculata, the Mediatrix of all grace.

Our priest talked of the power of vulnerability. He compared the power of a baby with the power of a strong man. How compelling is the power of a baby! How compelling the power of vulnerability. How compelling the Power of A King - on the cross. "Unless ye become like little children ye cannot enter the kingdom of God." No wonder demons flee when told that the Power of God compels them. No wonder we are told that God's strength in us increases as we become weaker, that we must decrease so that He may increase. We must get out of the way! Out of our way and into His way.

"In Christianity, obedience is not the submission of the lesser to the greater. If that were so, how could it be that, after the temple, Jesus went up and was obedient to His parents? Rather, it is a means of opening channels of grace. Authority is bound to consider carefully and issue direction from just and righteous grounds, without taint of self-interested motives. Those bound by authority are bound to obey legitimate orders, even as they maintain the right to a fair hearing in critique of those orders. If authorities fail their duty of diligence in issuing direction, the subordinate may sanctify them by obedience and respectful critique. If the subordinates are disobedient, the authority can sanctify them by the care with which they approach their own duty. We open up channels of grace for each other."

Let him who is without sin throw the first stone
My children, many of you make me very displeased because your whole zeal is for continually criticizing the Pope. I, Jesus, am speaking to you.

No one is perfect, but the good or the evil that this figure may be doing, only I know it, and I assure you that I do not turn My gaze away from him. You, My children, only see the negative in this Pope, but you do not see the good that he has done; therefore, curb your tongues and do not judge according to your criteria, because Mine are totally opposed to yours.

If he has said, says or will say something that it does not fit with My doctrine or the Magisterium of the Church, pray for him or write to him and let him see it, but do not censure him with so little charity because this does not please me. I do not consent to it that you treat a person who represents Me as if he were dross. I am the Judge and I will judge him in all that he may have done or does wrong, and I assure you that not a single trifle will be left unjudged. I, Jesus, am speaking to you.

Prayer is an very effective weapon for everything. To combat heresies, to help those who are wrong, to make your sons and daughters walk the path of the good, in order for priests to be holy; spend more time in prayer and not in murmuring, for many of you who criticize the Pope have children living in sin with their partners, or your family totally separated from Me, God and Lord! Therefore, children, stop this language and if desires to criticize the Pope come to you because you see that his measures are not adequate, bring them to me in prayer but not in your murmuring. I, Jesus, am speaking to you.

I am not telling you this with anger - much less, I tell you this with love and mercy, because I repeat that the one who is without sin should throw the first stone (Jn 8: 7), and many of you, children, are in sin, and above all, in the sin of pride since you believe that you are better and holier than the Pope.

We are in times of confusion of apostasy, of estrangement from God; do not provoke more apostasy with your criteria and opinions, do not do what does not comply with My doctrine, be faithful to the Magisterium as before, but I repeat, hold your tongue and beware of giving your criticisms or opinions. I, Jesus, speak to you and instruct you.

In reading through the several that were posted on the link above, they are very easy to read, straight forward and give much to ponder in the light of our living out our journey in the Divine Will. Definitely worth a read.

 

Do you seriously believe that this is the same Jesus who walked the earth with the Apostles and is quoted in the Gospels? I don't.

I think it is important to present accurate credentials about a person. I looked up Peter B.'s bio and his background is in music. http://peterjohnbannister.com/english3.html Many people have studied apparitions, but they do not describe themselves as Catholic theologians. His ability to translate to English doesn't translate into being a credentialed Catholic theologian.

 

I think that we should be praying for the Pope. He has caused me to doubt him at times but I still want the best for Pope Francis and I pray that he realizes that his sheep need clearer instruction.

(Vatican Radio) Although the Extraordinary Jubilee Year has concluded, we are still living in a “time of mercy.” That was the message of Pope Francis in a lengthy Apostolic Letter, entitled Misericordia et misera, (“Mercy and Misery”), issued on Monday following the close of the Year of Mercy.

The title refers to the encounter between Jesus and the woman caught in adultery, from the eighth chapter of the Gospel of Saint John. In his commentary on the Gospel, St Augustine said of that encounter, “The two of them” – Jesus and the woman – “remained alone: mercy with misery.” The teaching of this Gospel, the Pope said, “serves not only to throw light on the conclusion of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, but also to point out the path that we are called to follow in the future.”

In light of the “great graces of mercy” we have received during the Jubilee, our first response is to give thanks to the Lord for His gifts. But in going forward, we must also continue to celebrate mercy, especially in the liturgical celebrations of the Church, including in the Sacrifice of the Mass, and in the other Sacraments, especially in Reconciliation and in Anointing of the Sick, the two “sacraments of healing.”

Pope Francis proposed a number of ideas to continue the celebration of mercy, including an annual day dedicated to making the Scriptures better known and more widely diffused. He also called on the faithful to restore the Sacrament of Reconciliation to a “central place in Christian life.”

The Holy Father also extended a number of initiatives already begun in the Holy Year, asking the Missionaries of Mercy to continue their ministry, and extending indefinitely the faculties of priests of the Society of St Pius X to hear confessions and grant absolution. Pope Francis also extended the faculties of all priests to absolve the sin of procured abortion. “I want to insist as firmly as I can that abortion is a grave sin,” the Pope said, “because it puts an end to an innocent life.” But, he continued, “I can and I must state that there is no sin that God’s mercy cannot reach and wipe away when it finds a repentant heart seeking to be reconciled with the Father.”

Though the Jubilee is closed, Pope Francis said, “the door of mercy of our heart continues to remain wide open.” He called on the faithful to continue to practice new works of mercy, and to find new ways to give expression to the traditional works. The corporal and spiritual works of mercy, he said, “continue in our own day to be proof of mercy’s immense positive influence as a social value.” In this vein, the Pope said the Church must continue to be vigilant and offer solidarity in the face of attacks on human dignity.

“This is the time of mercy,” the Pope concluded. “It is the time of mercy because no sinner can ever tire of asking forgiveness, and all can feel the welcoming embrace of the Father.

As a final initiative for the future, Pope Francis asked the whole Church to celebrate, on the second to last Sunday of the liturgical year, the World Day of the Poor. This Day, he said, “will also represent a genuine form of new evangelization (cf. Mt 11:5) which can renew the face of the Church as she perseveres in her perennial activity of pastoral conversion and witness to mercy.”

I have suggested on another thread that now is the time for Accountability - time to pay the piper as we enter the Tribulation. Yet I see the pope still emphasises this as a time of mercy. There is no conflict here as Accountability gives Mercy real meat. Perhaps in Tribulation our own exercise of mercy towards those at whose hands we will suffer persecution and to those who will ask for help will be especially important. I still find it hard to respond rather than react to persecution in its many forms but I am getting better. Is it not truly wonderful that despite our sins we are spared punishment due to the indulgences of the church if we are truly contrite and repentant. The pain we will suffer in The Tribulation will be at the hands of man not God although fallen nature may play a part in this. God's mercy is still fully intact. Perhaps someone could remind us of the ways we can still avail ourselves of plenary indulgences. That would make a good thread.

 

It reminds me of being told off by a rather timourous maiden aunt.
