It does not take a majority to make monumental changes in a country or region; just a minority of the radical and violent that intimidates the majority and believes that their Agenda's End justifies any means. Time & Time again Human History has demonstrated this and it is easily seen in the Abortion, LGBT, Islamic Agendas and/or in the Christian despising Left Today .... everywhere! Unless you have just emerged from a cave nap of 20 years, it should be easy to imagine The Storm ... of immense intensity ..... it's Gust Front is blowing ... NOW! ..... There is still time .... Brothers & Sisters!!

    GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!

I drove for five hours across the west coast of Ireland two weeks ago on a Sunday, every church I passed was clearly full with people of all ages. The Catholic church might not have the hold that it used to on the country but It's still one of the most religious countries in Western Europe.

    Source Reddit:

In my parish, it would tend to be older people and then families with kids up to school age. I think when people have kids, they like them to have the same rites of passage as they had growing up like making your communion and confirmation and being involved in the community. I think to some extent people bringing young people to mass is a side effect of our own Catholic upbringings rather than people truly believing in the teachings of the Catholic church.

    Source Reddit:

I was home when this year's census was on, and peeked at the parents' forms. One was down as Church of Ireland, the other Catholic; even though neither have been to church in at least 30 years, excepting weddings / funerals / whathaveyou, and "don't really" believe in God.

This isn't a unique case by any stretch. When polling agencies phrase the question "do you believe in a god / gods", only around half answer yes; even though ~80% describe themselves as Catholic in these same studies. It really is a tribal identifier here. At least for over-35s; the younger generation doesn't really do that.

I don't know if a 'like' is the appropriate response to such content. The creature in the top photo seems possessed. Her bloodied image is an apt symbol of what she promotes.

It is some consolation that, to me at least, that crowd does not appear on closer scrutiny as large as a first viewing might suggest.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for them, whether their ovaries like it or not.

What can stir the Irish back to faith again, particularly the young? It was only fifteen years ago that the Churches were busy in Ireland, not a long time ago, and the faith was such a part of our identity.

Have hope, there are small things going on that will lay the foundation for a new blossoming of faith. Tomorrow a group of 10 young people will embark on a 10 month training in all things Catholic with The Holy Family Mission at Glencomeragh House in Co. Waterford. Please pray for them that God will bless them and lead them to evangelize powerfully.

I guess there must be a reason why we are the "remnant" that has been spoken about. Perhaps we can attract others into the light of the faith, those that can be helped at this time.

Many Irish people just like to feel that they are on the side that's winning, or rather that they perceive to be. There is also an element that aspire to be sophisticated and have foolishly come to identify modernist liberalism as the vehicle for their desired sense of superiority. When one combines the hopeless lack of knowledge of theology, history and of the actual events that are happening currently in the world that is common to most of these people, with their worldview almost entirely a function of television and the newspapers, it is almost inevitable that the present apostasy would occur. The only thing that could have stalled it would have been a respected Church Authority. Unfortunately, the authority of the Irish Church would have been weak and inadequate even in the absence of the child abuse scandals and their hopeless response. They were far too enthusiastic in adopting the iconoclastic excesses of the 'spirit of VII'.

I agree DeGaulle. And also a lot of people are being swept away by the NWO in Ireland, it is systemic and is palpable in the world out there at the moment. It seems that people in Ireland are being completely indoctrinated and subverted by the NWO system. If the AC were to come on the scene at this time he would undoubtedly have a lot of people who would follow him in this country.

It's no great wonder that people are so confused. The faith of our fathers (at one time) has changed dramatically and rapidly since Vatican 2 and is now infused with liberalism which is negating identity. People admire authenticity in this present day as can be seen by the young people attending the Tridentine Mass

Vatican 2 seems to have been a disaster alright. Malachi Martin was right in what he said about it in many ways, how it undermined the role of the Church in its primary role which is for the salvation of souls.

God help them. I hope they don't happen upon the priest who said the Mass I attended on Sunday. Thankfully, he's no spring chicken despite the dyed hair. He appears to believe that Christian charity and Catholic Doctrine are mutually exclusive. He said he was sceptical at first about the New Evangelisation (hates that word) but now that the "very clever Jesuit" Pope Francis deliberately uses confusing language where Doctrine is concerned there's no need to pay too much attention to those largely "man-made laws". I hope whoever is teaching those young people isn't a "spirit of Vatican 11" dinosaur.

It is not Vatican II that is the problem, it is Satan working overtime on our clergy, whom many have fallen to his deceit, calling evil good and good evil, substituting light for darkness and darkness for light. Do not forget that we have been under the 100 year reign of Satan that Pope Leo was shown. Many clergy have compromised unchanging truths and many more have boughten into social justice and liberation theology and have disregarded novena's, the rosary, devotions etc... for feeding the poor, working for the illegal's causes etc..... Vatican II did nothing to bring these modern "virtues" to us in the past 50 years. Look no further than Satan's influence over a willing clergy and puppet laity. I am not aware of one document or teaching that came out of Vatican II that brought the problems we are facing in the Church today.

Fatima, the documents as you and Mother Angelica have also said, were indeed wonderful. What occurred, according to Fr. Martin, was the way these wonderful documents were misrepresented and implemented to the laity. The powers of modernism bullied its way into these committees and these modernists changed the interpretation which these "original documents" were to be interpreted. At least that is what I read from Mother Angelica's biography and Fr. Martin's books on the council; I have yet to read these documents myself, nor was I there to attest to this personally. But Fr. Martin was a theological expert there, and Mother Angelica and the nuns did read all of these documents, according to her biographer.

My main point and what the Trad's seem to dismiss in their disgust for where the Church has gone since the 1960's is identifying the root cause of the spiral downward in faith and morals. It comes from Satan being loosed for 100 years. He found a substantial amount of willing clergy to dumb down the laity. Vatican II is a simply something to blame. Satan is the root cause and his day is about through.

Not Vatican II itself, a legitimate but minor Council. The disaster was the wholesale hijacking by the satanically inspired liberal faction, a minority that had inculcated itself within a very powerful position in The Church (with no little thanks due to Pius XIIth), who took the inch of cautious change recommended by the hierarchy and converted it into a mile of iconoclasm and desecration of tradition, aided and abetted by the revolutionary atmosphere of the era. The 'spirit of VII' I referred to had nothing to do with the Council itself but was the infernal filter that somehow came between the good intentions of the former and its implementation.

[Pope JPII and Benedict XVI both did their best to implement VII properly and Cardinal Sarah is the go-to man now].

Sorry If anyone finds this link offensive, it just goes to show that Ireland is blaspheming now on the level of the media and our faith is being mocked and ridiculed. Some day the same people will cry out for Mass and won't be able to find it. Discretion advised, but I just want to show how much the media are ridiculing and blaspheming our faith at the moment and how much standards have dropped on our national newspapers. The same people will persecute us if things get worse in the world:

I read three comments below at this point. Thankfully, all three are sound. We may get used to this. Ironically, these bullies and mockers are the ones who self-identify as 'brave' and 'daring'.

Strange as it may sound the people responsible for this and the people supporting it are probably the same people who would have us put to death given the right circumstances if there was a persecution.
