As I mentioned in a previous threat the prophetic word 'soon' has been appearing in prophecy for quite a long time perhaps for the last 30 years, which is a generation. God's time is not our time so in heavenly terms 30 years is not a long-time. I was reading the signs of the times as far back as the 1990s and warning people that the world was headed on a downward spiral. Back then I did not believe that in August 2016 I would be living a normal life, quietly in my home in Ireland. I genuinely believed that the whole world would have entered tribulation before now. The unravelling has been relatively slow. Yes the signs of the times are all around and we can see these very, very clearly. And yet we still hear the prophetic word 'soon'. A few years ago I gave up on any ideas of a timeline or working out the chronology of the end times that are immersed in and just accepted that I had to get on with everyday living and praying the daily Rosary to keep close to God and availing of the sacraments to remain in a state of grace. I am aware that a few nations have already entered tribulation (Venezuela, Syria spring to mind). My feeling is that we may well have a few years of grace left before we enter the fullness of the storm of tribulation. By tribulation I mean that state where every person in the world in affected by turmoil to the extent that 'modern living' as we know it is impossible either through economic chaos (where one cannot access money in the bank), interruption of power supplies and the food chain so that there is a break-down in civil society and so on in other words drastic times when we will know that we have entered tribulation personally. I would be interested in hearing what others think as we all have been prayerfully reflecting on the signs of the times and it is one of the reasons for me joining this forum as I had an interest in Catholic prophecy. Some people have been pointing to the end of the year of Mercy as a possible water-shed in this regard but there is no way of knowing if this will be the case. Mind you - I am happy to report that my life today is failure normal and without tribulation and thank God for His Mercy and Patience!
Yes Garabandal, I am just doing the best I can. The Year of Mercy and the Holy Father making available a plenary indulgence when we make that little pilgrimage is my comfort during this year. I am trying to make as many pilgrimages as possible, in case the time of justice follows, and the chance to plead for Mercy passes. I don't want to look back on this year of Mercy and wish I had made an effort in Faith. How can we say 'Jesus, I trust in Thee,' if we have not brought souls to His Tribunal of Mercy in trust. To be honest like you, I have been reading for years God has had enough of our sinful betrayals. But we can thank Him from the bottom of our hearts for His infinite patience with us all. Merciful Jesus, I trust in Thee.
"Before I come as a just judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands of feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day." We know that they Year of Mercy ends November 20, 2016. What follows is also foretold to St. Sister Faustina. Prepare, pray and fast, as the Day of the Lord is closing in quickly (soon).
Garabandal, I do not know if the prophesy of St. Sister Faustina will happen straight after the 20th November 2016 when the Year of Mercy ends. But I must admit, as a believer in the Divine Mercy messages; this is the reason for my efforts at making as many pilgrimages as possible while we still can. Just in case.
Obviously none of us know the day or the hour and I would not presume to make a guess, but I will say that things do seem to be snowballing quickly now. That could go on for some time. The past 200 years or so things have been slowly crumbling in society. The past 50 years things have begun crumbling in the Church as well. However the past 2 years or so things have really begun falling apart in both. The liberals are swiftly making strides to creating the "progressive Utopia" they have long sought. The closer the Church bends to the ways of the world the worse off things are and the shorter the time gets. I an inclined to say things can't get much worse, but I probably could have said that 10 years ago and now those times look like the glory days.
I sometimes wonder if I have made the huge mistake of looking too much outwards at human events rather than inwards at the grace events in my heart. Lately it has been like looking backwards down some huge mountain and realising how far God has carried me in His arms
One thing I have realised that all my many human failures and stupidities....and there have been a boat load of them..have opened the door to Gods victories. Or to put it another way God needed my failures and I never let Him down.
You nailed it, Praetorian. Almost universally, people are agreeing that time is really flying. The sense I get is that the Lord is speeding it up, as He said in Scripture, about those days being shortened, for the sake of the Elect. I read something about a year ago which was a long essay about the manner in which the gay agenda was brought to fruition in the world. I think I read it on Spirit Daily, or perhaps it was in the Post or something like that. It was a documented timeline about the way that each step was implemented in our society, particularly the West. In the past month, there was some type of "anniversary " commemorated in New York about the first gay bar, an illegal bar called the Stonewall Inn. (in the 60's) Interestingly, it was raided by police. Look how far down we have gone. And I hate to say this, but my church (Catholic) and the Methodist church down the road, have a little rainbow sign poked into the ground that says: "We are all God's children." In your words, the closer the Church bends to the ways of the world.....I get it that we are to love the sinner, and hate the sin, but that is not what is happening here. I do believe that God is working to save souls, His arm is outstretched and we do not know the outcomes, and we are not to judge, just pray. You nailed it: the progressive Utopia There is a lot of covering up going on. Sin is manifesting more and more each day. I do not for one minute believe Hillary's choice of Tim Kaine was last-minute.
On the one hand I am so, so tired of "soon", but on the other I know that when "soon" inevitably becomes "now" I will still be caught off guard. ...like the impatient child who dozes off to sleep in the back seat of the car 5 minutes before arriving at the final destination...
I do agree, every time I read the word soon I think "here we go again" But I do think like Fatima writes the words of St Faustina is going to happen very soon. In the next 14 months. Here are some things we do know about 'soon'. The church Jesus Christ founded is a mess from the highest offices in the Vatican down to the local pastor (Cardinal against Cardinal, Bishop against Bishop and Priest against Priest). Confusion from the Vicar of Christ himself. The average Catholic either does not care what the Church teaches or is clueless what she teaches. Sodomy is at an all time high and is being endorsed by church and state. Abortion is the law of nearly all countries in the world. Lawlessness is the norm now, not the exception. War and rumors of war are abounding throughout the world. Good are being exiled and martyred. Countries are being usurped. Global economies are collapsing like domino's. Prophecy has never been more emphatic about our instants and consequences. Signs in the sky's are on the rise, with evidence of planetary/solar system changes (2- suns etc..) Divine Mercy ends in 3.5 months. You can add to this list, but these are all the signs that Jesus gave us in Matthew 24 and more. Do we need to say more? Seems to me the only thing pending is Our Lady of Garabandal's prophecy to Conchita, "when communism returns" and "things are at there worst". This to me means a total collapse of the worlds economic, societal and governmental systems. Then comes the Warning, Miracle and Chastisements from God that our Lady spoke of to purify this world gone mad. "Soon" to me means any day, week or few months from now, but I think we can rule out years, lest there is no faithful left.
Fatima, you can add to your list euthanasia. In the UK it has been going on for years under the radar. Even that 'Liverpool Pathway' so called palliative care which was exposed for what it is (euthanasia) death by starvation; is still being done craftily. And Jesus said. 'Will I find Faith on earth, when I come again.' We might ask ourselves this too.
I've said this before, so apologies for repeating a thought. I was hoping for a "something" that will grab attention, prior to the end of the Year of Mercy so that those who have no idea what is going on, get to realise what it means and have time. You know, when you are in large crowds, a station, an airport or even just in the centre of your town, do you wonder how many know about God, or have any idea about the things we talk about? Millions and millions of people who haven't a clue. I don't mean anything awful, tragic or disturbing. There's already plenty of that. An unambiguous message, for those who are not Godly, would be amazing. I guess many of you will say that God has already tried that approach multiple times. But that's what I am hoping is "soon."
What if the 'Warning' is the... 'Year of mercy' , What if that is it! That is all!! That is all! Nothing more! A Pope demanding mercy, giving the Holy Doors , embracing all sinners , condemning no one[well, maybe faithful catholics]
Our Lady has said that we have been buried in Signs, I think that is true. The world is so far along the material path that they don't even seem aware of the physical dangers,let alone the spiritual signs.

The Catholic prophetic consensus is clear ALL will see their soul as God sees it. The year of mercy is not the illumination of conscience.
