Thank you CrewDog I am taking your advice and am placing this post which was originally 'in awesome touch of God thread' here in a new thread. I believe it is trully amazing and it shows that God listens to our prayers.

Another Awesome touch of God, 3 weeks ago at a large Hospital in Australia! (I have just deleted the name of the hospital, as I think I may be getting too specific for the internet and I must be more prudent, suffice to say it is a large hospital in Sydney)

Anyway, one of my sons (my second son Lucas), works as an RN at the (unnamed) Hospital in Sydney and he had to work over the Christmas holidays so I won't see him until he gets holidays this coming year some time, but he phoned on Christmas eve which was great and we had a long talk.

He was telling me about an older man who arrested earlier that week, in the acute respiratory ward, where Lucas works. This gentleman was very ill and had many co-morbidities but didn't have an NFR (not for resus), so Lucas and another nurse had to give life support (CPR etc) until the MET team arrived and the man was intubated and taken to ICU where he died three days later.

Lucas used to work in the ER, so after the MET team and Lucas got the elderly man stable in ICU, they (the doctor and nurse from ER) told Luke what had happened a week prior in the ER that made a great impression on them and all in the ER at the time.

This is what happened about 3 weeks ago.....

A baby of six months of age was brought into ER by Ambulance and the paramedics had worked on this lifeless baby all the way to the hospital; emergency doctors and nurses than took over and gave advance Life support for a further 2 hours in the hospital.

The baby’s parents and their very large extended family had arrived at the same time as the ambulance; they are Tongans (people of the pacific island of Tonga). Most Tongans are very devout Catholics: and for the whole two hours these people sang and prayed for this baby, they were singing songs of praise to the Lord, all gathered together and swaying with each other as they sang.

After 2 hours of unsuccessful resuscitation the doctor called the time of death and spoke to the parents of the baby. The baby was placed on a bed but the extended family in the waiting room, continued to pray and sing to the Lord.

After another half an hour the doctor wrote out the death certificate, but at this time a nurse noticed that the baby turned pink and then took a breath all by itself!!!!!!

The baby came back to life and survived!!!!!

Remember the baby had not responded to resuscitation and had been lifeless now for approximately 3 hours when taking into account the ambulance trip etc.

I said to Lucas....... "Oh Praise the Lord, that was a miracle due to the prayers of the baby’s family".

Luke said....' yes and apparently all the doctors on duty that day are scratching their heads as to the reason for how the baby lived. Even the atheists’ doctors and nurses are saying there is no explanation for this baby to be living without a miracle!'

Also the baby’s temperature was taken when it started breathing and the temp was 32 degrees Celsius which is hypothermic and this is a good sign as it indicates that the baby will not have any brain damage.

Praise the great Mercy of God.

And Blessed be God in His angels and in His saints!

    Crewdog,

Ah, sweet and beautiful Razorback country! Unfortunately, east of Lake Ontario, it's down to 4 degrees Fahrenheit and just snowed a foot today. I went and brushed off Our Lady's statue and sang Immaculate Mary. :) It will be spring soon enough!

Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

    Cam Newtons MaMa

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton named MVP at NFL Honors Feb 7, 2016.

Before Cam Newton stormed out of his press conference following his Carolina Panthers' Super Bowl 50 loss, the quarterback's mother, Jackie, advised him to use his platform to promote Jesus Christ.

Newton, 26, has been a hot button issue in the NFL after critics have questioned his "Dab" dance endzone celebrations. However, his mother sent him a Christ centered text message before he entered the big game.

"I want you to understand that hot and cold water comes out of different fountains. You are either hot or cold," she began her lengthy text message, shared by Newton on Instagram. "You have a big platform. Which fountain are you?"

While Newton was named the NFL MVP at the NFL Honors Saturday, his mother warned him against representing the devil with his public statements.

"Don't let the devil win over your words or speech that represent the dark world. But represent the awesome God you serve through your words," she wrote. "Don't confuse the devil and the enemy of what you are on: so speak boldly to the nations that you represent Christ for the great things He has done. Through your language and actions, speak words to uplift and not tear down."

She went on to tell her son not to promote the "devil's workshop" and quoted Proverbs 18:21 which states, "death and life are in the power of the tongue."

"The devil [doesn't] like positive words. That's why he keeps attacking because he ain't happy," she wrote. "You win with your character and powerful words that you speak."
